I was in Lebanon for 6 months and Lebanese food is the bomb. I stumbled onto this restaurant when I was planning on eating at subway and they took me back there in an instant. The Food is so fresh and authentic. Probably the coolest part was that they actually had the bread that gets served in Lebanon instead of the crazy thick pita bread you see normally. This is a nice low key place that’s great for dine in or take out. I had the vegetarian plate and it was so filling!!! Highly recommended.😋

Great taste, large number of options (including vegan ones) and good portions. Friendly staff and decent amount of indoor seating. We got the chicken shawarma plate, falafel, fries and salad. All of them, especially the chicken shawarma were excellent with loads of flavor and we were very happy at the end.

Not quite sure why this place has so many good reviews. THE WHOLE CHICKENS ARE TINY!! They're more like game hens, and extremely dry with hard skin. Like they've been sitting around. Spent $20 on a to go order of 1 small chicken, a side of hummus and some stale pita. Took a few bites in my car since I was starving, felt sick to my stomach right away. Ended up giving it to a homeless person I saw on the street, then headed to Zankou.

Ordered a vegetarian combo plate. (#15; $15). Very fresh and good flavor. The falafel it’s different from many other places I’ve been to. A small restaurant perfect for takeout or a quick lunch.

Food was really good! It’s a little counter-serve hole-in-the-wall place but I was surprised at how good the food was. I had the chicken shawarma plate, huge portions, great flavor and very reasonably priced, and the food came out so fast. Great option for a quick healthy and affordable meal

The food and the service were awesome, this place reminded me of my home in the Middle East. The meat was high quality, The Price was fair also and the vibes were just good. That’s a really cool place to eat while visiting LA! 🫶🏼❤️

Great half chicken plate. Humus tastes awesome. When the chicken is fresh off the rotisserie it is awesome. Comes with rice, salad, couple turnips, pita and some tasty garlic sauce. Solid portions. Been open here for a long time. Thanks!

This is one of those hole in the wall places you hear about that’s actually got seating. Food is really top quality and the portions are extraordinarily generous. People working here are so friendly and personable. If you’re looking for some great takeout or a place to grab a good bite of food before whatever dragged you out to Hollywood I’d highly recommend this spot.

We arrived 15 minutes before the closing and the guy on counter told us they are closing and we can only order chicken kebab. He was literally mopping the floor and packing our food without washing hands. Taste is good though l, possibly the mopping while packing added extra flavor.

I used to frequent this place when I lived right next to the plaza off Cherokee. I ordered 2 falafel sandwiches and phoned it in. I asked how long it would take he said 1 minute. I was already in the parking lot. I picked it up hoping for the best. I went home and the falafel was cold, hard and definitely not fresh. It was so cold I had to unwrap the sandwich to heat it in a pan at home. Not only was it hard and cold likely from much earlier in the day... it was also broken pieces of falafel that they couldn't put in falafel plates. I used to order these all the time and it was fresh and delicious. Disappointing.

Falafel sandwich was great - nice and moist, plenty of hummus and mint. I’ve had some excellent falafel sandwiches in my time and while this wasn’t the best, it was delicious and in terms of price ($7), it’s very good value

This spot is the bomb! It's now my go to kabob place in Hollywood. The owner is a really nice, friendly guy. The chicken and kofta kabobs are always really good. The hummus is fresh and tasty. The garlic sauce is amazing paired with the chicken. Thanks guys!

Waited twenty minutes for an order of falafel, baba, and fattoush. No sauce at all with the falafel. Falafel was over cooked. Only two pieces of pita with two full size baba and fattoush. This was my first time trying this place and I was trying to make my wife try Lebanese food for the first time, but this was subpar compared to what I used to get back in Cleveland. They clearly didn’t want to earn my repeat business with the food. Wow, you replied with no apologies for me waiting twenty minutes for that overcooked food? You can make the falafel everyday and still burn it as it was burnt. That was not even an apology. You’re standing by some burnt up food. You’re standing by me waiting for 20 minutes. You act like I’m just going around trashing your place when I was the one who had a disappointing dinner late night. Well I guess you have enough customers to stand on that level of food and service with no apologies. I will just go to Sumac’s from now on. Frankly as a former restaurateur, I’m surprised your establishment passed inspections. And you have to order sauce to get it on the side of falafel? Gtfoh! You’re just as arrogant as unapologetic to think people pay for a side of sauce that comes with any order of falafel around the world?

Well well... of course ths will be my experience... As far is food... i ll say its duable.. depends who cooked... Now as far service exept for couple employes nd drivers..!! a desaster !!.. u have the owner talks to u as if we were buddies from elementary school nd as well pretty much talk at you when there s a situations..n when he does heres the excuses which to me equals lulabies... Excuses where customer shld mot have to hear it.. more so when i spent 21 years in restaurants... Then u have a ladie where unfortunatly let s say her english is not her primary.. if she does not understand u she ll just hang up.. thats beautiful.. Nd then there s the order placing where u hv to repeat yr self as a recording nd at times either u missing something or meal is off... but again ts was my experience for a while.. Anyways bon appetit nd bonne chance !!!

My family is always looking for Halal Food nearby. I can't believe this place has bee here for 30 years and I only discovered it recently. It doesn't appear in Halal searches and there is no Halal sign. But the owner is Lebanese and the employees say everything on the menu is Halal. They say he only buys Halal meats (chicken, beef & lamb). The food is very good and affordable. The service was fast. We got a whole chicken and a mixed kebab plate. We will add this to our list of regular take-away meals. Please advertise Halal on your website.
