I've heard great things about this place and I was finally opportuned to visit. The decor is so colourful. It is vibrant and catches the eye. Very soulful and inviting. The staff were very attentive and pleasant all through. The cocktails were amazing. The jerk ribs were overcooked and dry unfortunately. That did take away from the delight of being there. Hence the 4 stars. I'll definitely be back, as I have a few things I still want to try on the menu. Good value for money.

Honestly went on an impulse and didn’t know what to expect. But the food, drinks, service and atmosphere was amazing. I’ve tried prawns from other places afterwards and still have not stopped dreaming of the ones from here! Would definitely recommend the small plates and rum!

We went for a post threatre meal, we had booked in advance for 5.45pm and specified we needed space for a pram. They managed to fit us in, but no note was made about the pram. Service was friendly and quick. We have been plenty of times, but music was very load on this occasion, my husband couldn't hear me from across the table. We have a 4yr old that is not a picky eater, but the kids menu is limited to burgers or jerk chicken both with fries. He had the chicken and they swapped the fries for rice. Would be nice if they offered small portions of the adult meals for kids. He enjoyed his meal, we did ask for some mayonnaise as the chicken came without any sauce and was dry by itself. I did also take advantage of 241 on cocktails.

Bright, charming and delicious food. Vibrant atmosphere and great service at any time of the day. They have a range of authentic Caribbean dishes, ingredients and drinks. Staff were great and checked in on us regularly, drinks were nice and the food is just right! The sauces for additional spicing on the table are so tasty and Turtle Bay is equally good for a midday visit as it is for an evening meal.

The service was great, they have a 2 for 1 cocktail happy hour with an interesting variety. The food in my opinion was fine. I will go back for drinks, but probably not the food. We ordered a starter of ribs, a side plate of cheese fries, jerk chicken and buttermilk fried chicken. The buttermilk fried chicken was the best plate out of them. We also hAd 4 cocktails with a bill of 51 pounds which was great.

Great as always! Cocktails are flavourful, not too strong. Food is served quickly. Good size portions for the price. Full of flavour. Staff and friendly and helpful. Anna was our server, she was friendly and polite.

G The bar manager is amazing. Proper polite and friendly. Very lovely bloke and made some lovely cocktails. Must advise to come here for Happy Hour for two drinks for price of one. Hoestly what a lovely man. X

Alan was fantastic! Really made our experience beyond satisfactory. The service was quick and on point. Great atmosphere, great food. Would definitely return to receive the same level of service and good vibes. Alan is an asset to the team.

The atmosphere was pretty good, food was nice and staff were really friendly. The location is great, right at the heart of town next to the Highcross shopping centre. Parking is close by and only a couple of quid. Great to round off a night or afternoon in the city centre. It is also a great spot to be dropped off and picked up by taxi's, so quite accessible.

Lovely lunch. The menu is great. Food is tasty. Only issue is food is a but spicy for kids (mine eat spice) an option to alter this would be good. Great drinks, fab service (it was busy but no waiting around) - thanks Asia!

Such a wonderful restaurant! Really enjoyed being here ! The staff was super friendly and helpful - really appreciate that. For kids they bring something to drew so that the waiting time is shorter for the kids. Beautiful colors and very modern look inside of the restaurant! A definitely must go place in the city !

Excellent, friendly staff and service. 2-4-1 cocktails until 7pm. The food was good, everything was a little on the mild side, so ask if you like things a little spicier 🔥

We went there for lunch and it was not busy on Friday afternoon. We ordered cocktails because there were happy hours and the deal was 1+1 cocktails of SAME choice. Food was good but cocktails were not pretty looking. I can suggest this place for food.

Out for late dinner with a friend. Great service from the start. Ordered two Red Stripes beers and we both took a sip at the same time and instantly knew the beer wasn’t right. Said to waiter and straight away got 2 fresh from another pump and tasted much better. Had the shared board. Halloumi & prawn curry. Great food, can imagine it tastes like that in the Caribbean. Reasonably priced. Would come back. Like the Reggae music in the back ground.

Food was great! Service was terrible had 4 to 5 different people serve us, they kept going away to get us answers and kept forgetting to do bring things back to the table. Its a shame mocktails are not on 241! Not everyone drinks cocktails.....other large restaurant chains serve both to cater for all. Wont be going back in a hurry!

I ordered the curry goat. It was boneless with different bits of fat. It tasted nice and I would have liked more sauce and meat. My friend had the seafood bowl but it came in a similar plate to my curry goat, not in a bowl and the squid in her plate looked like udon noodles. Also this dish should be brought with another plate to leave prawn shells in. The atmosphere was great with tables very close to one another and music often too loud. I woke up the next morning with a sore throat. The banana toffee cheesecake and the food competitive price were winners. We ordered 2 sides, 2 mains, 1 dessert, 1 cocktail, 1 juice, 1 coffee and our total bill was £53.40. The blonde waitress with long hair went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our orders and made different changes we requested without fuss. I would definitely recommend turtle bay for the service, yummy Caribbean food and the banana toffee cheesecake.

Jordon and james are amazing.went for bottomless brunch, they filled our drink everytime it was empty. James was lovely and friendly and Jordan made the drinks beautifully. The food was great too!

The server was great and very accommodating. Unfortunately, my food was quite disappointing. My burger was burnt and was missing ingredients that were mentioned on the menu. Apart from that the atmosphere was great and the staff are friendly.

Lovely food, great drinks selection! Jess served us and straight away she was relatable, great vibes and overall a lovely person. She couldn’t do enough for us, kept our drinks flowing for our bottomless brunch and gave great recommendations for what to drink next when we were unsure. The best service, thank you Jess!

I accidentally booked a reservation but the lady at the door immediately sat us which was great (I didn’t catch her name). I loved that the kitchen is open late on a Saturday. Will T came over very quickly to take out orders which was also great and he always had a smile and something funny to say. We only got started but the food was tasty and the drinks are really really worth the money. Allan was also a very cherry and animated server which really fits the vibe we are feeling this Saturday evening. it was a great visit and I would come again obviously!

This was a lovely restaurant to dine in at, creating a top impression from the get go with its Caribbean vibe! The staff were welcoming and friendly, allowing me and my friend to use the chargers as well as giving us each the large menu. Beautiful lights are included, the food was delicious and spicy, cocktails were refreshing and cleanliness had been maintained! Advice - book in advance to guarantee a table

Great bottomless brunch. Great range of cocktails and they keep coming in your time slot. No waiting around, service was great and the staff were so friendly.

The new menu is just better. The food and drinks were amazing. First time trying spicy mac n cheese and wow, gonna come back for more soon. The sides were amazing too

Will and Allan were are servers this evening for our friends birthday meal, they were incredible. Kept us well kept and made sure we were having a great experience at Turtle Bay. The food was also very good and would recommend for either just going as a meal out or doing the same as we did for bottomless brunch. Once again thank you Will and Allan.

Came to bottomless brunch for valentine’s day. The drinks and food were both amazing but the service topped it off. We were served by Jackson and had a great time :) thank you!!!!

Allan provides fabulous services. He gave us a wonderful greeting, the atmosphere was fun and his was very proactive with the orders. (Highly recommended a raise for his wonderful attitude and services).
