The service was polite, if a little inexperienced. The food was as always good, although the beef and Yorkshire pudding was no better than we could have had at the Crown Inn, Gilmorton for less money. Where the joiners wins is in the small French style restaurant atmosphere. It just needs to lose the background music and to up it's game on one or two of the dishes to make it a real show of force in local catering.

Service was good. It wasn't the best food we've had locally (king prawns were presumably cooked from frozen and tasted a bit mushy, steak was ok but again not the best). It's a small venue, and the atmosphere was good.

I took my parents here for lunch today. The food was superb, the staff were friendly and polite, the service was excellent. The interior including the toilets were neat and clean. It's a lovely village as well.

A lovely country pub in deepest darkest Leicestershire.

I’ve been a few times over the years and this was by far the tastiest meal I’ve eaten there. It was my wife’s Birthday so made her day too.

Excellent restaurant tucked away in a Leicestershire village. We found it through Google maps as the best place local to Lutterworth. It was almost fully booked and we were lucky to get in on a Tuesday night, which says a lot about its popularity. Food was interesting and well cooked with a good selection of dishes. There was a set menu that was excellent value as well as tasting good. Definitely a place we would go back to if we were in the area, but next time we'd make sure to book first.

The Aubuerge Supper is as fantastic as the rest of the menu and hits the quality mark you would expect from The Joiners whilst being superb value! We will most definitely be back for a midweek treat again.

We've just celebrated our Golden Wedding anniversary at the Joiners Arms. The welcome, service, food, and ambience were all perfect. Thank you all so much.

The food was absolutely divine! You always recognise when the chef knows what they're doing. So much attention to details and everything was freshly made before serving. If you choose the menu of the day which is served during Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, it's super good value. They also accommodate special diets like gluten-free, just ask. Highly recommended.

Fabulous Christmas eve lunch with friends. Good size portion for fixed 3 course meal. Service was prompt despite being very busy. Looking forward to going again in the new year.

I have been to the Joiners numerous times and it has always been first class - yesterday’s visit was no different. The service is professional and knowledgeable and the food is excellent. Yesterday I had the scallops followed by the sea bass - delicious!. I live in London but eat here when visiting my mother - it’s the equal of most restaurants I use at home (and much better value!).

First time & certainly not the last. We're so pleased to find a reasonably priced alternative to our old favourite, which alas has gone so "Michelin" upmarket it's now out of league. The food was superb, the service good & we loved the ambiance of the place. Only minor, minor drawback in this day & age is the fact that more & more are trying not to drink alcohol & no wines or ciders of same were not available. Certainly nosecco! Thoroughly enjoyed by all. Would recommend to all who aren't just looking for standard pub fare, but the other hand want good food at reasonable prices. Thanks & well done.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Joiners yesterday, Sunday 5th February 2023. Having read the reviews before our visit, the food and service sounded excellent and we were not disappointed. We had the roast beef and roast pork, both of which were delicious. The desserts are also worth exploring. There is a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is advisable to book because it is clearly a popular local village pub. The food is reasonably priced at £22.50 for two courses. The only challenge is the parking with the car park quite small at the back of the pub. However, it is possible to park in the road outside. The Joiners is suitable for couples, families and groups. One of the best Sunday lunches and village pubs that we have visited in quite some time.

Lovely gastropub for a special birthday lunch. All the fish dishes were really fresh and perfectly cooked in a classic French style - very nice!

Decent pub in the heart of Llanbedr, eaten here a no. of times and never been dissapointed. As it is popular, would recommend you book online if you are eating.

Not been here for several years due to work and the pandemic. Congratulations to Chris and his team for exceptional service and delicious food. Certainly did not disappoint in any way. Lovely atmosphere but not intrusive and attentive waiting staff but not perched on your shoulder. The roasted mushroom on duck fat toast with crispy poached egg was simply amazing. Excellent value for money and would 100% recommend. Keep up the great work Chris and team. Gavin

1st time I have been there. It is 1st class around. I have a swallowing problem & spoke about this before I went. They cater for all types of eating problems that people cannot eat eg Gluten dairy seafood which is very good which means that they get bums on seats. I was in the industry all my working life so I am very pleased to see that things have changed. I wish them well. Thank you to all the staff for a geat meal & 1st class service.

Lovely Sunday lunch, although would have liked a bit more of a vegetarian option. Highly recommend the black pudding and bacon salad. (Mrs B is the vegetarian.)
