Save your tenner. This experience is far from immersive and did not scare even the laughing 5 to 8 year olds with us at any point, and instead left us astonished and wondering how anybody thought this revenue generator was actually a conceivable attraction to offer. Don't get me wrong, the aesthetics and acting are not bad, and I can see how a few may like it - probably those giving glowing reviews here - but the 'I really enjoyed that' factor was missing. In the 30mins or so, not once was I wowed. I would not complain if it were part of the entry fee, but they feel it warrants a ยฃ10 fee and for an experience in mostly pitch black dark, cramped stairs, tight corridors, with occasional lighting and muted sound effects, together with some not so convincing acting and props - it's just not worth the time let alone the money. Sorry. Try much harder Merlin. It's 2021 and you need to step up your game. Also, the ยฃ22 charge at the end for the photos pack is a joke. Nobody in our party coughed up a penny. Perhaps what was more amusing was how the staff member grabbed back the photo pack out of my hands the second I indicated my disinterest. But what about the ยฃ10 I just paid for your absolutely naff show you arrogant little so and so!

Soo expensive. Arrived at the entrance car park at 01.30pm and have to pay all day ticket ยฃ10 (valid until 04pm) and is not monitored, park your own risk. Went to buy the entrance tickets for 3 people which cost ยฃ111 it is joke.. more expensive than all others attractions in West Midlands. The internal castle is small, can visit in 30 minutes and is too dark with some bad smells and some boring melody. During the visit, one of staff members pushed us to take two pictures. The cost of two standard pictures is ยฃ22 which of course I refused. The only nice things for me about this place was on top of the tower to enjoy the view around and some peacock ๐Ÿฆš walking around in the garden. Avoid the souvenir shops, very expensive and cash in not accepted. I will not recommend this place. There are so many others place to visit that can cost half of this and have a real funny time.

Went on Saturday and had a great experience. The actors were great particularly the witch and the cook the experience was both scary and fun though I don't recommend it for young Children . Enjoyed being accused by the Judge of piddling in a public well. Just wish this was included in Castle Admission as it adds a much needed adult focused attraction. It even cost me ยฃ5 as a Merlin Pass holder

Just went through the dungeon on the 2pm slot (2nd Nov) and have to say each of the actors/actresses were absolutely spot on. Stand outs were the Jester and the girls in the final room. Would recommend the dungeon for the price, scary but a good laugh

Just visited the dungeons at Warwick Castle. Overall the actors involved were brilliant and played their part really well. Wouldn't recommend taking any children in as all in our party left early crying. At the end you are handed a photo pack that was taken when you enter. At first I thought that's good for free then you are told it's ยฃ22. I've never seen a hard sell like that before.

Went in scared little babies, came out brave knights. Our review of the cast members were as follows: the JUDGE- said being from Birmingham was a crime enough and called me stinky multiple times (he was correct). the executioner- was funny and appreciated a good posh accent. witch - was committed to scuffling past us but struggled to find one of the three people in the room, strong effort with terrible aim. Torture guy - tried to tell us he would chop our willies offโ€ฆ there were no willies to be found, he ran with it. Chef- very committed, she was slurping that arm like a shake that was too thick for the straw, too much eye contact for the groups preference. Priest- he had a hard job preaching to a crowd of cowards. Jester- intense, which was probably good at the start, the Americans (me) had a hard time understanding. Witches daughter (aka door lady) - after hearing we have the plague, being executed, and being called stinky and dumb, she came with a lot of tea close to the end, it was a lot to process in a little time. Overall, 10/10 experience, I have been laughing for hours. This has given us so much content, everyone in our lives have heard about this. Our faces hurt from laughing and we will continue talking about this all day tomorrow. We forgot to do the real dungeon :/ :/

Well worth the money. High recommend. Even better than the London one.

A fun and very entertaining interactive experience, great actors and well planned route. Highly recommended! P.S: you are a stinky peasant no matter who you are, and very possibly a witch!

Really fun attraction. The actors were all great and we enjoyed going. Would definitely recommend visiting if you are at the castle. One star taken off due to the fact that we arrived 1 minute before our pre-booked time to be told that they had already started without us and we would have to wait for the next one even though we were on time. As is standard with these types of things, you get your photos taken at the beginning with the obvious intent of having the option to buy them at the end. But when the end comes, you instead get handed a booklet with all your photos already printed. Once you spend a good 30 seconds looking through them all (and thinking "wow, this is nice that they gave us this") they eventually chime in and say that it's ยฃ20 to keep and if you don't want it then put it down and leave it! No real need to waste ink and paper like that to pre-print it and then be put in the awkward position of having to decline it when it's already in your hands. Just do what everyone else does and have a monitor showing the photos at the end with prices so you can choose if you want it. Felt a bit like aggressive selling to be put on the spot like that. We just declined but I'm sure a lot of people feel pressured into paying.

So entertaining! The actors were fantastic and the little jump moments were really funny. My husband will be busy telling everyone I was tried as a witch :-) the only thing I will mention is that it takes a while to adjust to the dark and finding our footing in the first room was quite difficult! I will though, never again moan about working in the office as it must be grim working in the dark all day! Well done everyone, we really enjoyed it and would recommend!

This in not main atraction, you have to buy ticket for castle first for about 40 quid then this dungeon for another 8 quid. Aswell there is way to car park, when you get there there is "castle car park" for 5 cars only and limit 2h. There is no any signs to correct car park.. I am disapointed for wasting 240 quid for less than 2h visit for 5 people

Staff / actor are nice and professional. The whole thing was well planned. Is a must to try when visiting the castle.

Over priced for everything. Xmas market stall more expensive then london. Dungeons was not worth the effort, not even in the real castle Dungeons. Half the castle closed. And on leaving had to wait to exit the car park as it was a one way system. The bird show was possibly the only good thing along with the actual Christmas decorations

Lovely day with the family. Particularly enjoyed the Falconers quest as well as the stunning views from the Tower and the history of the castle itself
