Awesome place to get a beer, play a game and hang out. The interior is just awesome, and they also have a nice outdoor patio with quite a few tables. The beer selection is not huge, but it’s great to scratch the itch. We had a flight first, which made it much easier to pick our favorites. They had a food truck outside, which served all sorts of sandwiches, from Reubens to Grilled Cheese and Hot dogs. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Good beers, great decor. Outdoor space that’s dog friendly. Fried chicken food truck or locally sourced charcuterie boards available for purchase

What an awesome place. This is what I look for in a craft brewery - industrial setting with the brewery on site. Open tables in a beer garden layout. I had the Dry-hopped Gumsticker Saison. O.M.G. that beer was incredible. I took a growler home.

Urbanrest is the best! Great beers, good vibes, nice people, and pool & board games to play. I’ve had parties in their private space for a birthday and for a pre-wedding party and would definitely rent the space again. You can bring in your own food or can get food from the food trucks that they usually have outside! Favorite brewery in metro Detroit, hands down

Top quality beer and I'm really picky. I love that they have kombucha and a play area for kids. Really inclusive for families!

The beer is great and very reasonably priced for craft beer. Staff is friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Very dog friendly establishment that I could not recommend more for a social outing for you and your pup with the great beer selection and ever rotating great choice in food pop ups.

Absolutely amazing!! I just rented out the back room for my husband birthday. The staff was incredibly nice and great service. I didn’t bring anything to decorate because the space was beautiful already. I highly recommend this place! Also the beer and wine was great! THANK YOU Urbanrest!!! The night was incredible!!!!

Great neighborhood brewery that is also doggie friendly with outdoor seating. BYOF or stop by a local food truck that is usually parked nearby. It’s also a perfect stop after visiting the zoo since it’s so close.

Unusual variety of beer, wine and kombucha selections. Very clean and filled with fun people. Staff kept the tables clean and the folks at the bar were very friendly and accommodating. The "Local Hell lager was light enough for those who prefer a light beer. They did not have any Amber, dark or rich beer and most beers were bitter. We were there with a very large group of people and were served quickly. There was a limited food selection in the restaurant but that day there was a food truck with some South American delicacies. I highly recommend this establishment for a good time.

The beer they have on tap tends to change week to week. So, if you have something here and love it. Come next week. If they have a beer you don't like, give them 2 weeks and it might be gone and replaced with something you do like. Once I figured that out, this happened.

Great community space with excellent beer. The staff knows plenty about beer, and they were happy to share and explain what was on tap. If you're looking for a fun space to enjoy beet with friends, this is a strong place.

My brother & sister in law had their baby shower here today, this brewery is awesome!! Highly recommend for events or just to hang out, they have a separate room for events. The waitress, bartender and I believe owner were awesome and the waitress was extremely quick (serving 60ppl)! Thank you for making the baby shower so awesome, easy and a huge success. I'll definitely be referring, as well as calling to book parties 🎉

It was good beer, but the 28 of us could not reserve and were told you need to find some place yourself. Will not be back. You have to get your food from the airstream outside. If it rains, as it did, you need to manage, ergo you are wet / soaked. So most of us had to stand, eat standing, wet. It’s an ok place if you like it simple.
