Wonderful park servicing the recreation needs of multiple nearby communities. Great space for hiking, bringing the kids to play on the playground, events, picnics and more. You can even ride a bicycle in from the UT Parks bike trail. This facility can pretty much do it all. I say this in all of my reviews of the metro parks, but we are truly blessed to have this park system in our community. There are few better forms of free entertainment than these parks. Get out for a walk!

This is by far one of my favorite metroparks in Toledo. Plenty of different trails, picnic areas, and things to do. The property is well kept and the paths were clean. The paved walkways make it easy for our 4 legged friends to navigate the park. If you're looking to get out and get away for a bit, this is a great spot to stop by and clear your head.

One of the most beautiful metro parks in Ohio! If you look hard enough you'll discover some unique flora especially, in the Spring but it's a stunning area year-round. If like me, you have children who like to be outdoors among nature, they're outdoorsy & adventurous and get stir crazy because there's little to no room to play outside & explore properly. Many people enjoy Wildwood preserve because it's closer to the city yet is still far enough away that no hustle and bustle will retire here and the air is still clean. You'll find plenty of beautifully serene walking paths with dense, lush forests, wildlife, a playground for kids, plenty of parking, easy-to-read signs, and lots of wildlife to see & hear. Also, a great place to practice photography, bird watching, field sketching, medicinal herb & botanical studies, and You may even find the inspiration here to strum a few chords while relaxing upon one of the sturdy benches along stretches of footpaths, etc. So, go on, get away from it all! Find peace surrounded by nature and mellow out for a while.✌

Best metropark that I have been to yet! Completing the metropark trail challenge and this is by far my favorite so far. Awesome trails and good elevation change as well.

Nice park for hiking and BBQ grill. Picnic tables, picnic shelters, and charcoal grills are available. You can use your grill too. I felt safe in this park, unlike some other parks. An ideal place to spend time with your family.

Long, leafy trails and wide open areas for the kiddos to play on. Large playground and picnic areas that's always full of families. We especially love the Manor House and it's garden; beautiful flowers and well kept area that's quiet and worth seeing.

This place is gorgeous in fall! They have a mix of trails; biking, walking, dirt, paved. Leashed dogs are welcomed. There is a maintained garden section behind the manor, wooded paths filled with mature oaks, pine, and sycamore. Prairie paths filled with raspberry, blackberry, and small shrubs. The bridge trail we crossed held three tame deer that were perusing for snacks, chipmunks, squirrel, and lots of birds. They have a picnic area, restrooms by the manor, and playgrounds. Lots of benches to stop and watch nature and drinking fountains throughout the park. Overall, very beautiful park.

Fantastic hike, even in late fall. Can't wait to return to see it in spring. Bathrooms on site. Trails well marked. There is a covered bridge, old school house, manor house, and old stables. Combined trails to hike about 6miles. Some paved some gravel and some dirt trails. Very clean and maintained

Beautiful former Stranahan Family Estate with 493 acres to explore via boardwalk and pasture paths to roam. This property is part of the highly acclaimed Toledo Metroparks System.

Attended the wotld class Christmas week. Absolutely beautiful Christmas decorated 30,000 square foot mansion - all done by volunteers. Annual event not to be missed.

A short visit after not having been there in 25 years. It's still a very nice metro park but now that the rail-trail intersects with it, it is a great starting point for longer excursions. I remember the Manor house was very nice but I didn't visit this time.

Fantastic experience provided to the public!! The park is beautiful year-round. But especially during the Christmas season where the house is decorated and open to the public all for FREE. There is also a beautiful train set up. When my family visited there were several volunteers who made our family feel welcomed and cared for. They even provided shuttle services for my grandfather who can't walk long distances. This park is a hidden gem in Toledo!

Walking the trails with my family is my favorite thing to do here!! Also my wifey and I had our first actual date here! She packed us a real picnic basket with Pb&J's and chippys and juice! Also introduced me to her youngest daughter who is now my daughter too on that date!! Also after years of trying we finally had a handsome baby Boy!! She had 4 girls and said if he wasn't a boy she was done trying because sheust be Jinxed!! Lol but a baby boy prevailed and came almost 2 months early!! Kai Uriah Knott was born 06/13/2022 and celebrated his first birthday here at Wildwood metro park!!

This is a regular park for me and my kids! There's a giant park for the kids and all kinds of open space and grills great for cookouts with family and friends!

My wife and I walk our dog her almost every other day. We love all of trails that this park has. All trails are marked with checkpoints and markers so you know where you are at all times. It's very clean with because of the trash cans about every 200 yards. It has plenty to do with tons of space for all activities, including parties play grounds and even can host weddings!

This Park is so peaceful and beautiful. The viewing area of the birds and animals was breathtaking. I could sit there all day and watch them. The walking trails are well taken care of and an easy relaxing stroll.
