I usually don't write reviews. But, I just wanna express my gratitude for what planet fitness is bringing to the world. It's affordable, clean, friendly and get your job done. Hands down.

beware going to this location. The staff at the front desk act like they can’t be bothered with anything else other than signing you in via scanning. So, make sure you have the app especially ready to go. They argued and made a scene towards the black card member I was with down with having the app and then when we did get the app they were adamant about me the guest taking a picture for the system even though previously, they’ve only ever needed my phone number, i didn’t consent bc why they never needed it before. So they are very confused up there. I don’t know what’s up with the management. But the front staff always seem like they have an attitude and you’re inconveniencing them when it comes to anything further than lifting the scanner.

Tried speaking to the manager as the owner suggested. They told me that they see this problem all the time but they are unwilling to do anything about it. They suggested that if I want to do the PF 30 minute circuit & cannot because other members are not using the area properly, then I should approach those other gym members myself. I am not comfortable doing this. I may have to find a new gym. Clean gym. Staff is friendly- maybe too friendly. Every time I want to do the PF 30 minute circuit, there’s always people in there hogging the machines & not even doing the circuit. I always end up skipping one or two machines. I wish the staff would monitor the area like the sign says they do. Planet Fitness (Owner) a month ago We wish our 30-Minute Circuit wasn't such a hassle to get through, Jennifer. We especially hate hearing the impact this had on your workout - we'd never want any of our members to miss out on using our equipment. Staff is great. Facility is clean but they don't have the ONE cardio machine I can use comfortably pre-knee replacement surgery. I have to go to Troy. Bummer cuz Oak Park is 2 miles from both my home & work. Update: owner or Mgr responded right away! I've attached a copy of the cardio machine I use at Troy that I can use w/o knee pain. I'm hoping to have access to one of these post-surgery as well.

The coaches are knowledgeable and friendly. Their facility and equipment are phenomenal. The membership is welcoming. Check it out, you will not regret it!

Planet fitness it’s not the best gym in the world but.. it’s alrightt..ha this location cool been coming here since 2017 but it doesn’t feel the same there anymore tho

Greetings, with traveling for work and church I visit a lot of PF’s and the Oak Park, MI is one the cleanest and friendliest locations I’ve visited. The staff there could travel the nation and hold seminars.

Came as a guest with my parents. Easy check-in and assistance from the front desk. All machines used were in working order. Good workout in a comfortable space. Thanks!

Great place to work out. If you complaining, you must be bitter because there is not any reason to complain in there... they take care of any problem and at every location. Always clean and cleaning products and paper towels, drinks, showers, equipment always available.

Decent place to workout but you have to be creative to get the most out of the equipment.

This is a very nice, clean, friendly staff, and we'll put together gym. Definitely one of my favorite locations to go to.

Awesome club. It's one of the best by now. Spacious and very CLEAN. Machines are nicely spread out, and staff is friendly and polite. Highly recommend to come visit and workout. Thumbs up 👍

I just joined this gym and couldn't be happier! Super clean, great staff, and lots of equipment available.

The gym is a perfect neighborhood gym. Has everything you need on hand to get the job done for a good workout.

Always clean, no judgement, always room on the machines I want to use, and super friendly staff. I've been to other gyms but this is now the only one I frequent. They also have a ton of amenities that you don't get at other gyms, only $20/month and beyond worth it!!

It's never too crowded and in my three years working out here I don't recall ever having an issue getting on a piece of equipment I wanted to. All the other members were very courteous and everyone just kind of keeps their heads down and gets their workout in.

What an amazing concept and facility. The coaches are fantastic, the workouts are challenging and it all happens in a gorgeous and clean space!!

They have everything from lifestyle, powerlifting or bodybuilding. Tons of equipment. Friendly staff and 24 hour access along with great rates!

Not as large as many other PFs, but it's a good place for a quick workout. They don't have all the machines that larger PFs have, but there are free weights, bikes, ellipticals and treadmills. I didn't use, or even view the massage chairs or the Black Card area, so my rating doesn't include this.

This is hands down the best gym I have ever been to. They kicked started my fitness journey and continue to help me through it each and everyday. Come try it out!

The classes are always fun and different, and they have the sweetest, most encouraging trainers. I look forward to my classes because I know they will be fun and effective!

My coaches at Planet Fitness always know how to push, motivate, and inspire me to do better. My fellow trainees have become some of my closest friends and family. This gym is like my second home.

I have been to two other locations and hands down Oak Park has the best staff and that’” makes all the difference. If it wasn’t for the friendly and helpful staff at this location, I probably wouldn’t have joined PF. Keep up the great work and friendly smile - it’s greatly appreciated !!
