Scam email requesting payment for gift we were not expecting. The email stated that Smart Gift Solutions was sending us a parcel but could not be delivered due to insufficient postage having been paid. We checked the Track and Trace numbers provided independently through Royal Mails own website DO NOT ENTER YOUR DETAILS VIA THE EMAIL LINK I note in the reviews that we are not the only people receive such an email. We have tried to contact this company but they cannot be reached by telephone. Since writing this review we received a pleasant email from this company BUT it was then very quickly followed by:- “We sent you a kind email explaining this is a scam. Someone has used OUR name because it is generic - leading you to believe you have a gift on the way. We are a victim of fraud and Royal Mail will not do anything about it. You seem to have received some satisfaction damaging our reputation further by leaving a 1-star google review. Unbelievably said that you suffer from such utter ignorance and misunderstanding. Are YOU the perpertrator since you have the word 'trick' in your email address - you are pathetic! You are the scammer perhaps?” For this company’s information our surname is TRICK. And then at 18:53 that same evening we received “Generic clickbait! Go hound someone else - you fraudster! You should be reported!”

AVOID, they cannot deliver when they say they're going to and will charge extra for Saturday delivery but not pay the extra to parcel force so it doesn't arrive on time. Nightmare to get hold of, only premium rate phone number and very slow to respond to emails Not worth the money or your time chasing problems. Awful. Was meant as a wedding gift but couple no longer at address now so it's become an absolutely nightmare. I checked in advance that they could deliver on a specific date for this reason and they said they could, but they then charged me extra for Saturday delivery but didn't pay the parcel force Saturday delivery fee so absolutely useless and incredibly upsetting as our friends will not realise we tried to send them anything or be in touch in any way on their wedding day. AVOID.

TO ALL THE PEOPLE REPORTING THIS COMPANY AS A SCAM! I also posted this message on the Trustpilot page for them. This shop has NOTHING to do with the phishing emails that have been going around. I just received the same fake RM email that everyone else is getting. The scammers are using this companies name because it is a legit company, that is all. They could have picked any legit company, it just happens that these poor sods are the one they picked. Smart Gifts did not send you the emails, just some scumbag who wants your money and doesn't care if they ruin the good name of a legit company. Please use a little common sense before flooding this companies reviews with 1 star reviews and calling them scammers. You are damaging this company and they have done nothing wrong, they are as much victims in this as you, in fact more so as most of us knew this was a fake email and these poor sods have no idea what is going on. I hope this business contacts TP to get this resolved, they really do not deserve all this.

Ordered gift set for my colleague. It didn't reach her even after months of follow up and I just received an email to reschedule redelivery. This is absurd. I won't use them ever again!

Recieved fraudulent and scam email from this company via ‘Royal Mail.’ Email has been reported to RM for scam and to the National Cyber Security Centre.

Worse company ever!!! They did not deliver the gift on the day I had selected. I had contacted them and I had requested to deliver the gift ASAP...they did not do it even if they confirmed they will deliver. Then I requested the refund and it took them 2 weeks.

First time using smart gifts and won't be the last. Purchased two gift hampers for presents. Delivered direct to recipient so not seen the product but had lovely feed back. Reasonably priced. Customer services brilliant as I made a mistake which was not only rectified but identified by smart gifts when I placed order. Communication excellent. Thank you for a pleasant transaction and lovely gift that was sent with care.

Ordered the Get Well Soon Man Create for my Dad, who’s poorly in hospital, it was delivered on time and in beautifully perfect condition, and very well received, just what Dad needed after having his urgent surgery cancelled, put a smile back on his face for sure, Thank you Smart Gift Soloutions!

Do not order from here, I have a very bad experience with them. Advertised some products (with pictures and text) but sent completely different ones, lower quality included (I.e. ordered luxury bath robe which is pictured as a fluffy white spa-like robe and sent a cheap see-through waffle robe). Very unprofessional when trying to speak with them and find a solution. They ruined a birthday present by sending completely different items and then they are expecting us to pay to send the wrong and damaged goods back. Worst experience ever with a gift shop: wrong items, damaged goods, awful customer support experience for me, lost money and found myself in this awkward position for sending this mess as a gift. Read all the reviews before ordering, so many bad experiences with them, wish I have made more research before trusting them. They aren't allowing negative feedback on their website, I have screenshots proving I submitted feedback but wasn't allowed. Yet meantime 5 stars reviews were allowed on the website. Complete scam from my point of view.

Ordered a birthday gift from this company. Received the order confirmation and assumed it would take 1-2 working days to be delivered once dispatched. 3 days later I decided to chase a dispatch confirmation. The day before the birthday the gift was for I received a response from customer service to advise it had been dispatched and luckily it arrived on the persons actual birthday. The gift was well presented and ok value for money and was gratefully received by the recipient. They do state items may be substituted for alternatives however I didn’t expect that all items except 2 (6 items in total) were what was detailed. Although they were all tasty. I would use again, however would order a bit further in advance.

Perfect service with Smart Gift every time. Delightful company to work with, they are happy to accommodate gift requests. I requested a bottle of prosecco to be added with my hamper and they arranged it within a very short time for me to be able to add this item!! Recommended

Great service - gorgeous wedding hamper arrived in perfect condition. This included personalised mugs and a printed frame. The verse in the frame was of excellent quality and the mugs printed perfectly Mr & Mrs with name and date. This also arrived early the next day even though it was personalised so I was very impressed. I ordered on Thursday morning and wasn't expecting it to arrive for the weekend but it did so I was VERY pleased thank you! The mugs were also beautifully wrapped in the hamper which was a nice touch - printed ribbon was included which looked lovely. I've ordered a lot in the past and many people mention all the finishing touches but you never get them! Everything was in order and I was excited to be able to give this to the wedding couple. No feedback at the moment but will update when I hear back.
