I had already been married once and Judy made my dress and all the bridesmaid dresses which were all absolutely perfect . We could not find waistcoats that matched so she made those and the cravats and ties. If she can help in any way she will. So when I was due to get married again I was not going to go anywhere else. I really didn’t know what I wanted but with the help from Judy we came up with the most perfect dress for me. I consulted Judy as I couldn't find a MOB outfit in the colour and style I liked for my daughters wedding. Judy was brilliant she created a bespoke silk dress and jacket for me that was exactly what I wanted. It was elegant, and flattering yet incredible comfortable to wear. Her attention to detail on the finish, the fit and the style of my outfit was perfect, it exceeded all my expectation's. She recommended and collaborated with a local milliner so I could have a hat made to match my outfit using some of my dress fabric for the edging. Nothing was too much trouble she was always very calm and professional to work with and I'm so pleased I consulted her. I was thrilled with my outfit and felt amazing wearing it on my daughters wedding day, so thank you so much Judy.

I visited Judy for my wedding dress alterations following a recommendation from my wedding dress shop. Even though Tunbridge Wells isn't very local to me, I was glad I made the trip! The shop is located in a lovely area in The Pantiles with convenient parking outside. Judy made me feel immediately at ease and was very friendly and chatty. She took great care in handling my dress and pinning everything in place. Judy even suggested some finishing touches that I hadn't thought of. I was very fortunate that I didn't need many alterations and was able to complete everything in two appointments, and for a reasonable price. Our daughter’s wedding dress needed considerable alterations: buttons removing, panel inserting and the length altered. The dress also has multiple layers and significant detail. We were lucky enough to find Judy, from Judy Mott Bridal, who is an extremely talented dress maker. Judy Mott Bridal is a beautiful and intimate shop located in Tunbridge Wells. Judy gave us a warm welcome and quickly reassured us that she could undertake the mammoth task ahead. Today, we were blown away when collecting the dress. Judy has surpassed all expectations going over and above to make this dress look stunning. The dress has kept all the original features but has subtle changes to ensure that it fits like a glove. Judy was absolutely fantastic with my alterations really quick and helpful with all the questions I had. She was really kind, made me feel at ease, really talented and had some great suggestions for jewellery too. I can’t wait to wear my dress for my wedding in July. Judy Mott made me a spectacular bespoke wedding dress. Judy was recommended to me by a friend when, despite hours of online research and a visit to another bridal boutique, I hadn’t been able to find the style of dress I wanted (A-line, high-necked and long-sleeved - inspired by Grace Kelly’s wedding dress - but with beaded fabric on the top instead of lace). My experience with Judy was a joy from start to finish. She listened to my ideas and offered considered, judicious advice based on her many years of experience of designing and making bridal wear. I had several design appointments, various appointments trying on toiles (prototypes of the dress) to make sure the design and fit were perfect before two final appointments with the dress made in the fabrics I had chosen. My appointments with Judy were the highlight of my wedding preparation. I had a wonderful day in the dress; it fitted beautifully and was very comfortable. I was so impressed with Judy and her colleague Joanna’s impeccable craftsmanship. It really was the perfect dress in every sense - from the gorgeous fitted bodice and A-line skirt with organza overlay to the superb attention to detail in the buttons on the back and at the wrists, the waistband and the collar. I cannot recommend Judy Mott highly enough.

I had to contact Judy last minute to make my wedding dress alterations after we postponed and then re-planned our wedding. Judy was amazing, I genuinely cant recommend her enough! I'll be going back next year for her to remove the train of the dress for our wedding celebration with a bigger group of friends and family.

After visiting another seamstress who told me that she was unable to alter my dress and advised me to get a new one (8 weeks before my wedding) I was very upset.
