I have used this surgery for 28 years now and can I say it’s performance is at an all time low. The e-consult works fine and handled promptly unless it says call to see a doctor to be then told “You cannot book appointments for any future date, call in the morning for a same day appointment which is constantly engaged. I used to know my GP then she retired and I had a new one who was great but today I couldn’t tell you who my GP is. I am meant to have 6 monthly blood tests but are only booked if I ask instead of the practice being proactive.

I can't give 0. I was shout at , in my face. Reception is closed always. Can't get through. Phone isn't working, etc. Doctors just on line. They've asked to take a pic of private part. Didn't worked as bad quality. Doctor said- "ask your colleagues at work" It's no privacy anymore. They don't do their work! If you getting through - they shouting (!) at you! It's like dr.mengeles office.

This was my childhood GP, I always saw the same person and was well looked after. As an adult patient this place has dropped in quality, in every conceivable way, the service has gotten to the point of malpractice, I won't go to detail but if I can save anyone the misfortune of torture at the hands of these inept medical imposters then it's worth my time. Seek help elsewhere, anywhere else, the barbers would have been a better option and at least they will give you an appointment.

I've never had any issues with the reception staff, have always found them to be helpful and polite and If they cant book a same day appointment at the surgery then would find me somewhere else to go. I had an appointment with a doctor last Monday for 9.10am. I got there early as I always do. 9.10am came and went, then 9.15am, 9.20am, 9.25am, 9.30am, 9.35am, 9.40am and no sign of the Dr. I went down to reception to check what was going on and she said the Dr is running late and apologised. I went back upstairs and someone came out of the room of the Dr I was seeing. So thinking I would be called next, nope the Dr comes out and disappears round the corner and after 5 minutes comes back to her room with a drink and her breakfast. I was not impressed as was on time for my appointment and the Dr is now deciding to have breakfast after being 40 minutes late for my appointment. I then got called in 50 minutes late and no apology from them whatsoever. It's common courtesy to apologise for being late ans to say nothing at all I find very rude. Never have I experienced this before!! Very disappointed

Leaving a review for a patient that has been using this surgery for many years and he agrees with the many reviews about poor service and rude reception staff, unhelpful and dismissive of his anxiety and mental state. He doesn’t use the internet or computers but is told that’s his only option to book and apt. Who has ever heard of a receptionist that can not make an apt?!? What is their purpose then? It should be a choice to use the online service. He worries about not only the older generation but all ages that can’t for what ever reason go online. So ill patients are meant to stand outside first thing to book a slot and come back???

I am a sole carer looking after my mother with dementia and psychosis, organising a care agency for a specific time and date is hard work and impossible same day but this lot wouldn't even let me book a visit days in advance even though I explained my situtation clearly and allowances that should be in place based on the Carers Register, I was told I had to call at 08:30 and take my luck with a same day appointment, no execeptions. I was had two calls with different doctors regarding serious stress related and mental health issues which can be resolved in time with lifestyle changes when I can organise extra care, etc. I asked for something to help me relax for a week or two while I organise all this and it was implied I had drug seeking behaviour and I was pushed toward anti-depressants then quickly dismissed for in favour of thier next call after 10 minutes. Utterly shocking, I reach out for support to prevent a mental breakdown and I'm brushed off. I haven't needed to use this GP for over 15 years, the previous staff and management in the old building was amazing compared to these unfeeling cretins; avoid at all costs, I wouldn't even trust them with a treatment now if I got one.

They seem to have forgotten that patients are seeking care. I just called at 08.20 to ask for a prescription repeat/extension and they wouldn't discuss it until 08.30. They answered the phone just point out they won't be offering a service!

I rang up today to get information on past prescription, as I didn’t know what I had prescribed. The receptionist(clare), refused to give those details. Although it’s her duty to give that information. This is not the first time I had complained about this surgery, several times!. The receptionist are incompetent, awful and not helpful at all!!!! They think them of self of being doctor!!!!! Just looked at goggle review, wonder why they got so many awful review!!!

Shocking disgusting doctors surgery. If at all possible, avoid, go elsewhere. Treat you really badly then blame you for it if you're not happy about poor treatment and lack of service. Being unwell is an inconvenience to them. They don't seem to understand the purpose of a doctors surgery is to care for people.

Useless. I was directed to an urgent care center at Tonbridge hospital. Wasted £50 on taxis with a broken toe to be told they don't have an urgent care centre. Saw a doctor at St Andrews who prescribed the wrong medication. Dreadful service. Far from impressed.

Superb, efficient and very kind. From reception to nurses and doctors, we're lucky to have them.

I gave a 1 star review a year ago when the service from St Andrews was poor. It has improved significantly over the past year. The receptionists are very helpful, the nurses and Dr's are great - they are available for phone calls or you can use e-consult (which I find super effective) to contact them for advice. I have had more conversations with Dr Amy Rice & she is fab. Today I met with Dr Diloni Allwin who is really lovely. I came in for an eye complaint & she provided me with a number to self refer, she called me back later in the day to check in to make sure I was able to get an appointment. I am VERY pleased! Great job everyone at St Andrews :)

Your best off googling your problems and trying to solve it yourself. I have countless blood test and on and off a victim tablet and just get me to do it all over again and won't investigate the problem. Shame as this used to be one of the best doctor surgery's but now you got to really fight for them to take something seriously.

Having spoken to them a few times, found them to be nothing but polite, friendly and courteous in my experience. Yes it's difficult to see someone and they're busy (which is no small part to problems elsewhere inn the country) but have always found them to try their best.

Superb medical practice - thorough, responsive advanced specialist nurses and GPs. eConsult system makes asking for advice simple with always getting a response by an expert practitioner by 6.30 the following day (but usually the same day)

The phone booking system can be chaotic, but the online GP works really well, they will often create prescriptions or book an appointment for you after you fill it out. All the staff are friendly and competent.

I wanted to share our good experience (yes, really!) as I know it is all too easy to write a bad review when we react on poor service and sadly, it is true that more often than not the service at the surgery is not the best to say the least... HOWEVER, I did attend an appointment my daughter had last week when we saw Dr West (I understand a Locum Dr) who was absolutely outstanding. He really took the time to talk to my daughter (not your standard you are on the clock kind of thing, off you go tx very much), explaining the different options on offer for her condition and we left really feeling like we had a solution for the predicament in question. He should most definitely stay a permanent fixture there and please please please more Dr West!!! Very grateful, thank you.

Always very helpful and caring to our family’s medical needs. We live locally and our family has been on the patient list for many years. There have been some minor issues at times, but we understand and appreciate the challenges that the staff often face, in very difficult circumstances. Loving the new premises too.

😠 This used to be a great surgery when we moved here nine years ago, you could get an appointment the same day or if not, within two days. Increasingly over the last 18 months it’s become harder & harder to get an appt. Now the waiting time is 6 weeks for a face to face, or 3 weeks for a phoner. While...
