😠 This is the most baffling practice I have ever encountered, with the most unhelpful and obstreperous receptionists and the most Byzantine appointments ‘system’. You have to call on the day for an appointment, but when you do call you are told that the appointments are all gone. You can’t book ahead...     This is the most baffling practice I have ever encountered, with the most unhelpful and obstreperous receptionists and the most Byzantine appointments ‘system’. You have to call on the day for an appointment, but when you do call you are told that the appointments are all gone. You can’t book ahead because ‘you have to call on the day’. The ‘don’t keep lists’ of people who are desperate for an appointment. I’m lucky because I’m not a patient of this ghastly practice, but sadly a relative is. Is there a practice manager? Is there anyone there who isn’t deliberately unhelpful? Does anyone care?

    I have been calling and calling for days on end and only once I got through. The receptionist told me that I should have called earlier. I was on the phone every morning for days! I moved to the area around month ago, I'm on prescribed medications that I can't get because at this surgery no-one picks up a phone! I'm at my wits end. The receptionist told me ''call at 8am to check if there are any appointments, we don't book in advance'. How can you not book in advance? Also, the surgery has the Patient Access system but patients are unable to request medication or book any appointments online. Really, change the way you book patients, how do you want people to use your surgery if no-one can make an appointment?

    Doesn't issue written communication. Doesn't review clinical notes. Doesn't update repeat prescriptions. Doesn't see patients face to face (calls recorded for training and monitoring purposes goes both ways) . It's behaviour like this that undermines public trust in the NHS. The NHS won't fail in 'spectacular fashion' - it will fail slowly as the public acknowledge its indifference to providing a service to its users.

    The service I have received from Rusthall Medical centre has been unprofessional and lacks good customer service. Doctors work set days and if your doctor is off, the day you want appointment, not allowed to see any other doctors. Asked to changed doctor have fill in a form, before you can book appointment. Not allowed to book an appointment in advance. Only go to doctors about once year, but made to feel I like I am not unwell and wasting their time and should vanish, as not interested in me!! Don't know what I am paying national insurance for, as unable to ever see a doctor, when I want to at Rusthall Medical centre. I work full-time and can only see a doctor on a set day. Had enough of the bad service I have received at this surgery.

    My actual issue includes anxiety to using phones, pretty much means I can not use the surgery. I have been sent away with no appointment more than once as their 'system' can only do phone triage. Not seen the doctor in over three years!

    Doctors good when you actually get to se them. Don't understand telephone triage system, no clinical interaction so you miss looking at a patient, taking vital signs and all the other non-verbal signs and symptoms. Continuing to blame COVID is not helpful, hospitals back to seeing patients even without masks. Difficult to get into contact with surgery, then faced with over zealous unqualified support staff acting as gate keepers and asking very private and confidential questions with a rationale about supporting doctors. Not appropriate!

    Nothing but kindness and care shown towards my family since we joined. Our GP, as I'm sure the other GPs are, is wonderful. Nurses and health care assistants are fabulous and the Reception staff are polite, helpful, friendly and attentive. Five Star Service 🌟

    My mother has recently moved to be with us as she getting less able to look after herself. I registered mum at the surgery and they have been fantastic. Mum is registered with Dr. Powell Jackson. Mum is not the easiest person to deal with and her new Doctor has been amazing with her. Everything the Doctor said she would do has been done professionally courteously and promptly and I am so greatful we have such wonderful people to help us.     We recently moved to the village in October and my 2 year old become very poorly into which she needed to see a doctor. I was aware they wasn’t taking new perm patients but should of accepted her as a temp emergency as stated on there website and I got told no and to ring around doctors in Tunbridge wells which is utterly disgusting she’s 2years of age I’ll be reporting this to the relevant people if I could of given them 0 star I can assure you I would of absolutely disgusting surgery who doesn’t care about the health and well-being of children living in the area when there in need of medical attention I am also a server asthmatic so now I can’t get my inhalers I am also aware they have over a dozen of people who are not in the attachment area and people who are out of Tunbridge wells aswell who are still on there register which is putting a strain on the people who are within the village who needs to have a gp or needs an emergency appointment

    They are poor in every aspect. I have skin cancer and it took me weeks to see the doctor. I got a txt confirmation with a time and date and it was wrong. They blame it on their IT system. When I questioned the staff on how this can go so wrong I was accused of being rude. Very Poor

    Shocking place, not actually sure anyone here is actually qualified to do the job, my girlfriend waited months to get a referral to then be told they haven’t even made contact with the right people, to then chase it up again and be told they will make contact to then find out they still hadn’t done it, do they actually do they’re job at this place or just tell people what they like? If I could rate this place 0 stars I would

    Not great at all. It takes forever to get through and when you do, they say to call a different time, and when you call that time, you CAN'T GET THROUGH until its "too late" and they say you should've called at the time they said. So annoying that they are so unprofessional yet there is little choice otherwise. Get better. I am only 14 yet still understand the importance of a good medical practise down the road and this does not fit the requirements. Please improve.

    This surgery have always been brilliant. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and have always offered the bests solutions to help me, my husband and my children. The doctors, nurses and pharmacists are also great. I would highly recommend them.

    Can't understand any negativity. Always absolutely on it for everything you need and can't do enough to help. Best surgery I've ever been a patient of and I've moved a lot! Extremely professional and knowledgeable.

    What a joke of a place..empty surgery at 8am the snotty rude young receptionist..won't speak to a gp for me..can't breath properly, coughing up phlegm and blood pain in ribs. Chest infection.... But no they'll call me sometime today .... Working till 18:30 and not alone phone at work 👍👍
