There are a few things to say about the practice. The doctors and nurses here are amazing. Lorraine especially. However, it's impossible to get an appointment when you need one, or even to get through on the phone line. And sometimes the ladies on the front desk can be cold and dismissive and sometimes even rude. Though there is one lady who's name I do not know and she's very nice and friendly and can never do enough to help. I think it's worth considering that usually when people call their doctors they are in distress. Maybe don't talk down to them, or be dismissive. Tone of voice is 50% of telephone communication and I feel upset every time I finish my phone call. That is until I see Lorraine or my doctor and they fix the issue I'm having. Call waiting would have a dramatic benefit to your patients waiting to get through and a bit of compassion training too.

Appalling behaviour from the reception staff. Pure hate. I wonder what’s their problem. Especially the blond one, appalling. They don't even pick up the phone... always busy. If the line is free they don;t pick up. Very bad.

They turn their phone off from 8am..,when you calm at 8:30 they have no appointments available. My little son was very ill with an eR infection and was not able to see a doctor. Ended up going to a private gp. The staff is rude and arrogant. Absolutely useless

Not a good GP place! You can never get an appointment from this place. They ask you to ring at 800am or 1400pm, and the line is always busy. After calling 50+ times, you just cannot get the appointment in the end. What was the problem why they cannot book afternoon appointment in the morning?! Appalling service! Urgently need improvement!

The doctors/nurses are nice but it's almost impossible to speak to them. You are asked to call up at either 8:00 or 14:00 but they almost never have appointments by the time you've waited for them. On the odd occasion you can get an appointment, it's no use if you have a job where you can't just take phone calls (such as a teacher) then it's pretty much useless anyway.

First of all, my GP Dr C Sawyer (who has been my doctor for 23 years) is an understanding, helpful and very professional GP, who besides having the concern of his patients foremost in his mind has a lot of administrative details, as well as people to manage. I may not be an uncomplicated and straightforward patient to deal with (cope with!) but we always find a way. What's more, I have decided that just because two doctors at the surgery did not hold the same opinion as me, doesn't mean I have to see them (one of them has subsequently left the practice in any case). As a consequence of Dr Sawyer's recent workload I have also had a very positive experience with Dr N Gerrett. In her case, she has gone beyond simply giving me the results of an MRI, but has also demonstrated a caring as well as competent side to her nature by sending me for an ultrasound, for which I am very grateful. There comes a point when one has to take one's health very seriously if one wishes to be alive to care for their young children for many years to come; I am so glad to have such experienced and attentive people looking after me. Even the locum, whose name I'm not familiar with, was helpful with a prescription I needed not so long ago. Contrary to some other people's opinion, I have found the staff on reception (when I can get through to them) helpful, polite and a pleasure to talk to. When one thinks of the sheer amount of people now living in close proximity to the surgery (many of whom have English as a second or even third language) it is understandable the staff are under pressure. So thank you to everyone at Greggswood Medical Centre.

I am giving Greggswood Surgery 5 star rating because of how compassionate the Nurse, Receptionist and Doctors are. They treat patients to the best of their there knowledge and will go above and beyond to treat patients in a person's centred approach to meet each and every patients individual needs. We are very lucky to have an NHS and without this I believe it would be a great struggle in affording to pay for a doctors appointment which is one of the reasons I'm grateful and so should we all be grateful.

LEGITAMLEY NEGLECTFUL!!! Arrived at the practice and reception DID NOT book me in meaning the nurse was late to see me and I couldn't get my ECG done. This has had a knock on effect as I'm desperate for medication which I can not receive due to not having my ECG. Reception staff said "you should have interrupted us" as a response! Can hear the nurse chatting away in the other room whilst meant to be sat with me. Health care professionals that don't care. Pick another surgery, this place has prolonged my suffering and they couldn't care less.

My husband and I have found the staff and the doctors to be more than helpful The secretary go out of there way to be helpful Even to the point that they will hold the doors open while my husband try to get me out in a wheelchair They would also give my husband advice on me when I was not upto talking to them as would the doctors I can't rate them high enough

If I could give zero star I would. No one ever answers calls. don't ever give out appointments. No doctors available. Don't care for their patients at all. Don't give out follow up appointments or do blood test.

I have diagnosed acute anxiety and PTSD, rely heavily on medication for work and general well-being. Getting a repeat prescription is an absolute joke, every month there’s some sort of issue.
