    Scott has been my personal trainer since 2012. He has a high level of expertise of the human anatomy and physiology, continually researching the subject matter in order that he can tailor his fitness programs to the individual's needs. Scott explains the reasons for giving you specific movements to do in order that you can make sense of how it will help or benefit you. Scott is motivating, encouraging and reliable.

    Scott has been my personal trainer for around 10 years and thanks to him I have enjoyed a period of improved health and general well-being. He has given me the knowledge and techniques I required to improve my overall fitness levels as well as a thorough understanding of what I should be doing more of for a healthy lifestyle. I underwent a hip replacement last year and Scott was instrumental in accelerating my full recovery back to full fitness. Scott is able to tailor programs to each of his clients needs and I am privileged to avail of his deep understanding of the human body. He really does research options and is quickly able to match specific exercises to one's requirements. Each session is varied and he reacts very quickly to any specific concerns you arrive with in his studio. I greatly value his frankness, professionalism and of course his friendship; he is very caring and has undoubtedly benefited my general health/fitness levels over the time I have worked with him. He is simply the best!!

    I've been training with Scott on & off for nearly 10 years now. His training programmes have always been very thorough & meticulous understanding the needs of each individual. He will help you achieve your fitness goals in a very versatile way. Couldn't recommend enough for anything fitness related. Mike

    I've been working with Scott for several years now. He's got me through four marathons, a half iron man and many other races. As well as being a constant encouragement and support for me, Scott has be able to help me deal with injuries over the years. This is really where he is different from other trainers - he has an in depth understanding of how the body works and how to maintain overall good health and fitness.

    I been training with Scott for 5 years. I never thought I would ever engage with a Personal Trainer but I thought I would try a couple of sessions to see if it made any difference. I have always enjoyed and participated in sport but as I was approaching my 50’s (and after 4 knee operations) I thought my running days were over. Scott was instrumental in getting me running again with a series of programmes specifically designed to help with my core strength and stability, especially with my dodgy knees in mind. I am now looking forward to competing in a 10k race this year and hope to come close to 50 mins and I have Scott to thank for it. I can highly recommend Scott to anyone and I can’t imagine my exercise regime without his expertly tailored programmes.

    I have trained with Scott for over four years now. Scott has helped me become far more aware of the holistic benefits of being not only fit and 'in shape', but also the details that one often doesn't consider as carefully and takes for granted, such as diet, core strength and particularly for me, improved mobility and balance. As a youngster I took it as given that I was flexible and had good balance, but as I've aged and am now in my forties, I've realised with the help of Scott that these areas of physical well being are crucial, especially as one approaches middle age. That is where I feel Scott has a particularly good and empathetic understanding - he works with clients of varying age, ability and interests, and certainly in my experience he is able to tailor programmes to suit the individual.

    Scott has been my PT for quite some time and helped me recover from a shoulder injury. He’s presently guiding me through a training program tailored to running. Scott is very knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone interested in improving their fitness.

    Scott was recommended to me when I decided to do my very first triathlon, an Ironman 70.3 event. Having never done long distance swimming, cycling or running- I had a LOT of work to do!! From the beginning, I felt I was in great hands with Scott. He regularly competes in 70.3 Ironman events, so that was very reassuring. He safely eased me into the world of endurance sport, by the end I built up my fitness levels to a level I had never reached before. I had weekly in-person training sessions alongside a bespoke training plan for all 3 discplines. The plans were exceptional, and every much as valuable as the PT sessions for me. Scott was able to give me a great combination of physical preparation and practical Triathlon/endurance advice (nutrition, race strategy etc) to ensure I felt ready to cross the start line. And more importantly- the confidence to make it to the finish line! From the first session with him, it was clear he had a deep knowledge of research-based S&C best practices that he wove into his personal training. The progression in our work over 5-6 months was unreal. If you are taking on a new challenge in the world of endurance OR a triathlon, you should definitely speak to Scott.

    Scott put a lot of care into developing an individual personal training programme to meet my needs. The training sessions are varied - no getting bored! He is polite and friendly. He is very knowledgeable and I would strongly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their fitness.

    I have been working with Scott for more than a year now. The best thing with Scott is he first has a consultation where he would understand you, your health and your need and creates an individual plan. He is very meticulous and starts from base and build up the on the target decided. Every time I go to Scott I would go with doubt if I can do it and if I can reach my goal. And I the end of session Scott would make me think YES I CAN. Also he has good understanding of the subject and his exercises are always goal oriented. He also follows up what we do during the non training days and if we are keeping up with the exercises and answers any doubts regarding diet or exercise plans.

    The best personal trainer I have ever had. Scott goes out of his way to give bespoke training for each person, does so much work outside of the session to support and has a wealth of experience as an athlete in his own right. Cannot recommend him highly enough. If you want someone who will be with you on your fitness journey, he is the trainer for you. 5*

    I've been seeing Scott for some time now and I'm very satisfied with the way that he works. He bespokes session especially for me every week and I'm always challenged in a way that feels like I'm making progress and gaining fitness and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their stability, their fitness that strength, and their vitality. It's a very invigorating and energising experience to work with Scott.

    I contacted Scott after receiving a thyroid disorder diagnosis to try to rebuild my fitness and stamina. I was not at all confident but having successfully trained with him some years prior to the diagnosis I trusted he would have the skills to help get me started. After two years of hard work, tears and sulks (on my part!) I cannot thank him enough for his commitment to the cause and the many ways he successfully got me to level up. Now I'm feeling more like myself again, I can work at the level I could before and feel just as strong. I'm now looking forward to the next chapter of getting stronger and fitter just because I want to and not because I need to!! 💪🏋️

    If it wasn’t for Scott, I would have never found and stuck with my passion for running. Since meeting Scott 10 years ago I have run 5 London Marathons and numerous half’s. I have a tattoo on my back in his honour…”Pain is temporary, Pride is forever”!!

    Excellent PT!!! I went to Scott with a slight shoulder muscle injury and in search of a general exercise routine that would help me build muscle mass. After an initial, free consultation Scott taught me my new weekly routine over four sessions whilst helping to improve mobility in my shoulder. The sessions were great because they were designed specifically for me and so that I could repeat them using my equipment at home. Scott really knows his stuff and after several sessions all pain in my shoulder had gone! I now see Scott once a week to help monitor my progress and make tweaks to routines. Sessions are great fun, in a relaxed environment, and Scott is always happy to have a chat and answer any questions regarding areas such as diet. I would therefore highly recommend Scott Richardson PT to anyone, especially other young people who want help achieving their fitness goals but don't fancy going to a busy gym.
