Staff friendly, grounds well kept, pretty much the usual you would expect from CCC, as a family the only let down is the facilities they are very old and dated but they were clean.. This bugs me a little it wouldn't take much to make the facilities that bit more practical like a decent shower head they sell them in lidl 800 yard Down the road for £11 our family was charged £257 for 7 day surely there's some free cash knocking around so people can have a good shower... If ever a conversation was struck up with other campers it was usually in the facilities and was usually about the facilities... I don't blame the staff at all seems like it's a management issue..

A good position, walking distance from Crowborough which is nice; pub, shops and food places. Right next to the leasure centre. Facilities a bit old fashioned and showers pretty small. Friendly helpful staff.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Good location to for town centre. The toilet block has seen better days, but the staff do keep it clean and tidy.

Stayed here in May. Greatsite for exploring East and West Sussex and Surrey. Facilities good. Dog walk in wood outside campsite. Site is next to Sports Centre with outside track and various fields which are great for walking round. Only negative was building g site next door which was very noisy. I was parked right beside it, I'm sure it would be quieter further away. Staff very friendly, a great stay

A nice clean tidy site. Wardens were friendly enough. Facilities a bit dated with some queries on how to operate showers. Road signage is limited but just turn into the leisure centre. Once on the inner road site is at top on right hand corner, again limited signage, I thought I'd got it wrong at first. Superb view across forest from back of site. Leisure centre offers a nice walk, with playground and cafe. Running track also seen with people going around.

A very tidy site, if you have a motorhome, don't book a grass pitch as they are on a slope. Staff were very helpful and will return.

Really friendly staff running this site who go out of their way to help you. Good site with acceptable facilities which are always very vlean. Some grass pitches are on a slope. The sports centre next door gives you a discount if you mention that you are camping.

Great location next to the town and the leisure centre. Good staff and a nice site. Only gave it 4* because the facilities are starting to look a bit dated. Still functional and clean but in line for a revamp some time soon.

The camping site is clean, the staff are helpful and polite, most of the pitches are sloping, a very quiet and relaxing site, I would gladly return

Very nice friendly site, even though it was extremely busy and there were allot of dogs it was extremely quite for the 5 nights we stayed, would definitely recommend. The only slight complaint is the showers were lacking in pressure, but the quiet site with shops and takeaways within walking distance more than made up for this.

A clean and well-maintained site with friendly owners and clear pitch markings. The facilities are well maintained and regularly restocked. We were there mid-week and it was quiet, only adults and a couple of dogs. The noise from the leisure centre next door is muted by trees and not intrusive. The shop sells basic camping supplies, rather than groceries but there are shops nearby, although we didn't go there this time. It was perfect for a mid-week break and I'm sure I will go again.

Relatively small campsite on the edge of a nice sized town that is set far enough away from any roads for it to feel in the middle of nowhere! Close by is a recreation ground with running track and exercise equipment, and behind that, a leisure centre which is perfect for anyone keen to keep up any exercise regime. To the north are long walks in woods and farmland. The staff were all really helpful and friendly, as you'd expect in a club site, and overall I had a very pleasurable long weekend and look forward to returning again soon.

Typical CCC campsite with the usual good facilities. There's no real shop on site however, but there is a garage 5 minutes away that sell groceries, milk etc. A bus stop near the site gives good connections to Tunbridge Wells and the South coast if you don't want to drive. There is also a decent selection of shops and restaurants nearby in Crowborough. My only reservation is that the main grassed pitches are in an incline which is irritating but I lived with it.

Nice campsite, if you are not a member the rate is expensive. Toilets and showers are good but some should say ..... Outdated. It has a certain charm to step back into time. Tent pitches are also used for xampers and caracans, they have tha advantage that they can ve leveled out. Although some pitches are begond leveling out. So if you are in tent pick the best level pitch you can find if you do not want ro roll out of your tent. Close to the centre of the small city good for getting a pint or some dinner. Lidl and Waitrose are 800 meter or 1/2 mile away. I walked it, no problem.

Stayed here for a Saturday night to test a one man tent. As usual with a Camping Club site the staff were friendly and the facilities were good. And there is lots to do in the area. Only down side was there was a concert on locally so I could hear the music up till midnight. Not too loud but noticable. The site is on a hill so is terraced so some pitches have a slight slope. My grass pitch was fine though. Crowborough town centre is only 10 minutes a way and has lots of places to eat and shop with both a Lidl and a large Morrisons.

Crowborough camping is very good facilities great, showers in ladies are a bit pathetic but clean as were the toilets. We were on a grass pitch with our caravan very big slope but that's Crowborough. Weatherspoons in walking distance and the shops and supermarkets and lovely walks in the area we've been before and would return. Quite busy but quiet as well .

🫤 The toilets, showers and drinking water were all a long walk from our pitches. The pizzas mediocre, the icecream powdery. We hired a bell tent, it stunk of vomit. The whole setup was VERY basic, yet the pricing was very expensive. This is a case of expectations I suppose, for the price we paid for t...

👍👍 Spent two nights there with my Fiancee and our boys (3-10). It was an excellent experience for the boys, they loved it.
