Nice well kept fishery, however the “new specimen” lake has hardly any, if any at all specimen fish. The lake is very much overstocked with extremely small picture perfect carp. But these will become damaged by anglers that have equipment expecting specimen sized fish. They are that small, the bite alarm doesn’t even go off!

A pleasant day fishing spent in a scenic venue ruined by an extremely rude and verbally aggressive bailiff. Said individual was blunt and impolite on arrival and asked if my equipment was "the cheap stuff" on inspection. At the end of the day, Bailiff began shouting and swearing at our group for a mistake in parking location and did not calm even after attempts at de-escalation. Bailiff remained aggressive throughout and stared daggers at us as we swiftly packed up to leave - will not be coming back. Would not recommend this venue based on staff behavior alone.

Facilities are ok. Not great. Good for tiddler bashing on new specimen lake.. needs work doing cleaning up swim. Lots of duck poo.. doesn't help when diggers are working causing vibration. Puts fish off but on the whole not as bad as some. Bailiffs reputation I can see where that comes from. All I can say is ignore and he's fine.. maybe try main lake next time see if that's up to the hype?

We chose to fish Tricklebrook for a 36hr. Fishing the New Lake. I have to say the lake is smashing. There are twoSpecimen waters there. Old and New lake. We didn't catch anything worth writing home about but we lost two fish off the hook, one at the bank which was a belter!!! New Lake has lovely large swims, decently spread apart. Hard standing banks for pods. Defo worth a visit on a day or for longer.

Went on the match Lake at Tricklebrook. First time I have been here. The lake is well stocked with commons, skimmers and a few tench from what I got. Went on the method feeder with krill ground bait, sweetcorn and hot tuna boilies which worked well.

Took my son's here for their first fishing trip. They absolutely loved it. Easy to find and a very friendly atmosphere. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return back.

Fished that place on and off for about 7 years now and I've always done well here, just finished a 24hr session and managed 2 fish early hours of the morning, highly recommend 🎣👍

Had overnight on lakeside pod which was clean with high level microwave hot plates. BBQ facilities and welcome pack would definitely recommend it even for non fishermen

Lovely place, but could do with a food outlet.

👍👍 Lovely place with beautiful grounds and lots of wildlife. I fish here with my husband alot and it is a lovely place to fish, very well looked after. All the staff/bailiffs are friendly, helpful and always up for a good chat. I would recommend it to everyone. Even the children's lakes are great.
