Very well managed fishery thanks to Jamie & Ted with good quality fish, the scenery & wildlife around the four lakes is outstanding, well worth a visit

I have updated this review after another great fishing afternoon there and 3 magnificent trouts in the bag! So 5 stars! Superb fishery. Very well maintained lakes and loads of water to fish! We did not catch anything (came the day before restocking ..) but had a wonderful time when we came here last summer. The lodge is beautiful, massive and very clean, with a big table where you can sit and eat with friends. The host is exceptionally pleasant. We'll absolutely come back.

Been there quite a few times now. It is a stunningly beautiful place, and the fish are well stocked. It's over an hour from where I live, but well worth the travel. It consists of four wonderful lakes, and both Jamie and Ted are very helpful. Need I say more?

Fished here regularly with my wife over the last three months and we have enjoyed every visit. Jamie and Ted are very welcoming with all the lakes in good shape and well stocked with good conditioned hard fighting fish of good average size. Great to see the fishery coming back to its former glory. Recommend a visit to anyone.

Ted and Jamie are so welcoming and friendly started my day with a cuppa with them and a lovely chat about the 4 lakes, and the fishery is just simply beautiful I would recommend this place to everyone and ive fished some stunning places!, I also in my excitement to go fly fishing again after a long while I forgot my landing net, no problem said Ted and Jaime here you go use this one, absolute gentleman. I had without any doubts one of my best days fishing, one thing I would say fir god sake don't go light I got smashed up 3 times lol my own fault I'm so used to fishing really light. Ocant wait to be able to go back again! Sorry no photos I was to busy enjoying myself ill take some next time I go.

Fabulous fishery, the lakes are beautiful, my husband caught a trout on his first cast, so he’s ‘hooked’ on fishing at Lakedown now! They also have a great tap room on site, with pop up events and lovely friendly staff.

I've been fishing at Lakedown for years and it's one of the most beautiful still water fishery in England "PS" beer is also great

I fish here regularly and it's the best Fishery by far , with four well stocked lakes and a friendly welcome from Jamie and Ted it's a great day fishing . The four beautiful lakes are well maintained with plenty of swims to choose from. The lakes are stocked with rainbows and browns of excellent quality with plenty of 3lb plus fish . I find it fishes really well all year round , personally I move from lake to lake and cover a lot of swims until I find the fish and have only rarely blanked in the hot summer months. Last note don't tackle up to light there are some big fish in each lake !
