It's the same ground where during 1983 Prudential Cup match was played between IND Vs ZIM. Kapil Dev scored a massive 175 runs and this was a game changer for India's Journey towards winning their 1st world Cup. That was the only international match played here. Unfortunately BBC was on stike on that day. Fortunately you can watch this match now on a Bollywood movie titled '83'.

Absolute privilege to visit the historic ground where a historic innings from Kapil Dev in 1983 against Zimbabwe changed cricket forever.

Attractive public open space that is little used. Also one of the world's most beautiful cricket grounds, specially when the rhododendron are out. We bring our children to TWCC practice most Fridays in the summer. They have fun and get top-class cricket coaching and we get to catch up with our friends with a drink from the bar.

Great venue for watching cricket. Good views all around the pitch and friendly atmosphere. Ground staff efficient to maximize play during inclement weather.

One of the most cherished Cricket ground to visit by all Cricket lovers of Kapil Dev's era. He was magnificent here leading the Indian Squad to the World Cup victory in 1983. During the current visit already been here twice.

Played hockey here the pitch needs some serious work its all matted and some of the lines are bumpy. The pitch looks like it's constantly damp

During the summer months it's frequented by cricket players of different ages but is often free to use for personal exercise. A great place for parents to take young children (due to its size and openness) or to run laps of (as a result of the soft grass and even terrain.
