A real jewel in tunbridge wells, so many great places to walk and relax, public toilets near the upper cricket ground, so many great benches all over the common. Such a lovely place to come and enjoy, but bring walking boots from October onwards as can get very very muddy.

I stumbled across this place with my dog, Tilly. We had taken my daughter to an appointment and needed to find somewhere for Tilly to get some exercise after the long journey. The rock formations are amazing, nothing like I've seen before, and the area is great for dog walking. I couldn't see any notices, so I let Tilly off her lead, which she loved. She even found some boys from the local school and persuaded them to throw a stick for her!

As a child I adored this place . My grandmother and grandfather lived in Tunbridge Wells for many years. The common was my favourite place . And now my poor grandmother has vascular dementia but she still remember certain things xx

A beautiful bit of countryside right on the doorstep of the town. From lazy days watching cricket to picnic by the rocks this is a delightful place to visit. Been visiting since I was a small boy and love that my son now can learn to climb and play as we did as children of the 80s and 90s
