DO NOT park here. This is NOT the council run ‘Pantiles car park’, which is nearby and under a different name on Google. Put the postcode TN4 8HG into maps if you want to go there. We thought we had paid for parking here via the RingGo app (which is how you pay for the council-run parking) but received a penalty charge notice. We tried to appeal this with our RingGo receipt but we had to pay the penalty charge notice. Again, DO NOT park here.

Parked here as I have always done when visiting Tunbridge wells . Now with these people I have been charged £100 !! It took my picture entering the car park and started to charge me from then !!!! I hadn’t even passed the bollards ! I parked and went to get my ticket . It took time as the app they use is rubbish and it took time to reset. I got my ticket and left before it had run out ! Little did I know I had to purchase my ticket before entering the car park how ridiculous!!! NEVER USE THIS CAR PARK RIP OFF MERCHANTS

Beware - this car park charges you from the moment you enter by logging your registration plate. I was charged £100 for unwittingly overstaying by 5mins. Company were completely unresponsive when I appealed and threatened debt recovery and court action. Avoid at all costs!!! The machine is slow, the online payment system is cumbersome and slow and signage does not make it clear that you are charged from the instant you enter the car park until th e instant your wheels cross the exit threshold. The whole set up is engineered to generate penalty parking charges. It's a total racket! Shocked that this is allowed to operate legally.

They will find any reason to fine you - and it’s £100 - do not park here! 1 minute over your time and they will send a PCN fine

Dont park here after 6pm. There are charges of £1.40 an hour all day. I.e 24 hours a day! Whereas the LA Pantiles carpark is free after 6pm. This private Car Park is a rip off and a cinder surface which is unlit at night.

Do not use this car park. The company that runs it is very keen to catch you out. The machines never work and getting a ticket on the online system is very slow. It can take 20 minutes to get a valid ticket. The company charges you from the time you arrive in the car park - not the time you get the online ticket. So you pay for an hour - arrive back and drive away within the hour but get a fine for the time you spent trying to get a ticket. The signs do not make it clear that you are being charged from the time you arrive. You get fined £100 for paying £1.40 for parking your car instead of paying £2.80 for the time they say you have actually been on the site. This is a very clever scam. Be warned - do not use this car park and do mention to the shops that depend on the car park how let down you feel when this happens to you. I will never shop in Tunbridge Wells again.

Avoid. I was stung by a PCN for buying the wrong ticket on a Sunday - which is an all day fee of £2 HOWEVER I should have been more careful because it looks like the machine allows you to buy other tickets which are not valid..

Parked there in the dark was lucky to find the machine because of poor lighting, its surrounded by woods and then i paid for a ticket which was at 18.06 for 3 hrs I arrived back to the car park a bit late but you do have a 10 minute grace but I then could not find the exit once again because of the dark. I then received a fine because their camera said I parked at 18.01 but i was still driving at 1802 as I had checked the time whilst waiting to exit a junction. I appealed but was refused. Avoid go somewhere else and there is a nearer one to the spa valley railway

Avoid! A few minutes late and £100 PCN issued. Badly maintained parking. They looking to catch you late.

Poorly maintained car park, cinder surface badly potholed machines don’t work and £100 fine if you overstay even at night by a few minutes. Don’t use this car park unless you are happy to throw money away!

the upperpantiles carpark has the worse parking machine ever designed. huh! designed "" cleverly thought of l would say ..

Very poorly maintained machines not excepting coins or cards forced to go online website for RCP parking, not even a QR code app....Whats the point, terrible and over £5 for 4hrs !!!! Avoid

I usually use this car park when going to the Pantiles as it is cheaper, lots of spaces and close by.

Paybyphone car park. Surface is not made up so its bumpy. Bit of a walk into the town centre crossing busy roads. Limited parking options in Tonbridge Wells. £1.40 an hour.

Avoid at all costs, poor signage and payment system, tried to pay a few times and still received a £100 fine.

The road surface needs to be updated as there are a lot of potholes not good for walking with luggage or car, but to be fair I paid 20.00 for 2.5 days so that's good.

Handy car park for the Pantiles. There was plenty of spaces when I was there.
