Room was great, nice big comfortable bed, good view of T.Wells city centre. Quiet and good security. Would stay again! Bar is only £4.30 a pint which is unheard of in 2023!

At the Premier Inns you get what you pay for and this one is no exception. It’s a clean hotel in a good location, not far from The Pantiles. Things like putting one towel in the bathroom and charging £5 for decent internet make a guest feel like they are being screwed Ryan Air fashion. I prefer the Holiday Inn approach where they don’t charge for things that cost them nothing.

Rooms was nice with aircon which made a difference in the summer heat. (Although it was felt the room could be done with a deep clean) There was only 1 towel in the room even though we booked for 2 people. We felt the breakfast was over priced for what it was. Would recommend popping to town which is really close to get something better. Other than that staff were nice and helpful. Would recommend for a quiet comfortable night sleep 100% at an affordable price.

Newly constructed hotel. Standard Premiere Inn rooms, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms. Liked the breakfast area, a vast choice of hot and cold items, good coffee machine, efficient well organised service. Only minus, no private car park, apart from about x4 spaces in front of the hotel.

Room was dirty, hairs found around bath…stains on the bedding and the upgraded wifi that cost me £5 for the night didn’t work. I booked a reservation in the restaurant at 6, when I arrived I was told it wouldn’t open until 7…I ordered food at 7, waited 45mins to be told my starter was out of stock. When I asked for a replacement they only actually had 1/8 options available (chicken wings), another 15mins passes before the chicken wings were brought out (this is now 2 hours after I originally booked my table) they were cold and tasteless, my main arrived 35mins later and was also cold, I ordered fish and chips, the chips looked and tasted like they had been cooked a while ago and reheated, the fish was over-fried to the point it was rock solid…a vegetarian lady on the next table was told there were no veggie options but she could have the prawn linguine and pick the prawns out!!! Overall awful service, I stay in Premier Inn hotels across the south coast twice a week and this is by far the worse experience I’ve had.

Consistent for the premier Inn chain. Comfy bad and quiet rooms. Facilities are value for money. Breakfast was average quality but very good variety. There is parking on site but not well signposted. We parked nearby which was reasonable.

Definitely would stay there again. The food was excellent. I had a stake for evening meal it was lovely. And a great full English breakfast. Only down side was that the Internet was poor

Made to feel extremely welcome by all the staff and were always greeted with enthusiasm. Housekeeping made our day returning to see the cuddly family enjoying their bed!

Clean, usual premier inn room. Comfy bed, double or triple glazing as very quiet. Breakfast good value. Previous guest had broken the TV and a couple the pictures on the wall. We didn't want them fixing as they weren't dangerous. Nearby car park with drop off only at the hotel. Easy walk to the town centre Will stay again

Stayed here on a work trip. Convenient location for town centre and station. Room fine though would ideally have preferred not to have been in the attic with partly sloping ceiling.

Lovely staff, delicious breakfast, bed really comfortable, perfect water temperature and pressure in the shower. Near to all amenities with free parking on the road after 6pm to 8am. Cannot fault it.

Room was lovely and partly clean, found someone top under the bed. The staff that checked us in was super rude and blunt and kept snapping us. Was only given 1 key card and told if I want another I would have to go back down in a few hours ( leaving my son in bed asleep alone).

I had a lovely overnight stay at this Premier Inn yesterday. I slept like a baby last night in the nice double bed. The ensuite room was clean, warm and very comfortable. I also enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast. 🤗

Superb Premier Inn - clean & tidy, quiet rooms. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Only downside is the lack of parking. The closest car park is Torrington multi storey but you’re looking at £20 if leaving the car there for the weekend.

The rooms are very basic now. No fridge, so unable to keep water, drinks cool. Check in by machine only, then it wouldn't work properly you have to try find a member of staff. I found 4 of them in one small office and when I asked for assistance the one lady gave me a dirty look as if I was asking for her to climb Mt Everest. Breakfast is served by 1 cook and 1 young girl doing her best but not coping as it needs more staff. Dirty table's left, running out of basic item's, very poor. Coffee machine not working. Credit to the young girl working but no support, management hiding. Not what you expect from Premier Inn. Too much cost cutting, especially on staff.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel from - the rooms were quite nice. Service was pretty poor - they seem to only give one towel by default (even if two ppl on the booking), there was often nobody at reception, I heard others saying they had requested the room be cleaned the previous day and it wasn't, etc. But it was over Christmas so perhaps less well staffed (and extremely busy)

Great location. Staff was helpful, and let us have an early check-in for £10 extra. After getting home late the person at reception got us a water to take up to our rooms saving us from buying from the vending machines. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower wasn't very powerful but otherwise was fine. They had an iron and iron board which we landed which was very helpful. In the morning we walked round the corner for breakfast everything is very close from the hotel. My only downside is we left to grab breakfast on our return they had cleaned the room assuming we had left and checked out. Luckily we only left our chargers in the room which we got back easily but was frustrating I expect on both parts.

Uncomfortably warm! The air con in the room simply does not go below 19°C but it felt much warmer. The window had no handle so I could not crack the window open for some air. A rather uncomfortable, hot, sweaty and stuffy night as a result even though outside was around 6°C-7°C so there is no reason it can't have been cooler. Clean with plenty of space. I did not have the breakfast (I don't generally eat breakfast anyway) so no comment on this but I did not sleep well as it was so warm.

Absolutely shocking customer service in the restaurant. I’ve stayed twice for business and both times the restaurant was poor. The first time the food wasn’t cooked. Apparently the breakfast chef who was on duty in the evening wasn’t able to cook salmon. Staff fed back that, ‘he was ok last night’ and then the manager offered to cook. The second stay, we were told not to order for at least 15mins because the chef had 4 orders to cook. In total there couldn’t have been more than 15-20 people in the restaurant, but all were experiencing challenges with waiting or limited menu choices. It took an hour before we could order, each time asked we were told 5, 10 or 20 more mins. It took nearly 3hrs from sitting down in the restaurant at 7.15pm to finally having a sweet after 10pm . (The sweet was ordered because there was only a choice of 3 starters which were fish or chicken.) Several meal choices were also not available. Staff were apathetic, and unconcerned by their lack of professionalism, when we raised concerns with regards to the wait we were told ‘we’ll feed it back’ or were offered free drinks but not a choice of drink we’d wanted or were actually drinking. One food order was wrong of which the staff member did apologise as it was their mistake but we were told that the kitchen was now shut so could we ‘just eat it!’ They did eventually cook the meal of choice. Plates left in the tables and no attention to detail or customer care, even whilst staff were just stood around the restaurant. We explained we didn’t want to keep being offered free drinks because of the very long waiting time but just expected reasonable customer service, We asked for table water and were bought one glass of water. At the end of evening we owed £4.91, there wasn’t an apology for the slow service, lack of menu choice or lack of customer service and when I said I wasn’t happy with the service & I’d pay outstanding amount but would be taking this further as it’s a concern that twice I’ve experienced poor service in the restaurant, and will be formally complaining about what could only be described as shocking customer service Manuela who was the Manager that evening picked the change up and threw it into my handbag! It feels like the place is managed poorly, the staff seemed scared of the repercussions to them not the customer experience. Manuela said, ‘l can’t keep giving things away’ I explained several times, that I didn’t want anything for free, I wanted decent customer service, my food in a reasonable time and not to feel like I’m a hindrance by being there! They wouldn’t be giving stock away if they communicated effectively between themselves. They seemed more concerned about the impact of their stock control - because giving ‘house’ drinks away will be picked up electronically in their stock control system but their limited time invested in properly training staff, in customer service, restaurant etiquette and efficiency is only picked up via feedback and will not go directly to the senior management. Breakfast was ok, the coffee machine was not working but again although the staff in the morning were friendly and apologetic, it seems standard practice to apologise and say we’ll feedback. Rooms as always were clean & well maintained. If it wasn’t for the need to stay for business purposes I wouldn’t go back. However, given 2 attempts in the restaurant - I’ll definitely eat elsewhere next time.

Was apprehensive on booking hotel due to bad reviews on restaurant experience s, we ate 2 nights running and food was excellent and service great with friendly staff, recommend steak, mixed grill and curry. Breakfast was enjoyable too. Only thing that let hotel down was bad WiFi signal but i have found this before when staying in other premier inns.

This is a great premier inn. It’s in a good location for walking into Tunbridge Wells. The breakfast was all buffet style and very good. Took off a star for noisy cleaning staff in the corridors everyday and the bar never seemed to be cleaned open.

Though parking here is a pain, the extremely helpful staff were more than willing to offer short (2 minute) walk where you can park for free over night. Food was the typical but good fair and room was clean and well presented, limited amounts of tea, milk and coffee etc in the room but again the ever helpful guys at reception and restaurant were more than eager to help.

Modern hotel which was kept in very good order. Parking is an issue as there isn't any apart from 3 disabled bays. There's a multi storey car park down the road a bit but this means you have to drag your suitcases up the hill. Not sure why they would build a new hotel without its own car parking. Anyway, nice bar area and a decent food menu which was reasonably priced and food was good. Breakfast was good too but the chef wouldn't cook any more items till the last one was taken which was a very odd way of carrying on and led to people having to wait while he cooked the next batch if sausages or eggs. As we had all booked in the night before for breakfast at set times then it wouldn't have taken a genius to prepare a batch of food in advance. I can only assume he had dumped a batch of unwanted bacon once and had received a telling off. Anyway a fairly minor point. All the staff we came into contact with were nice. Special mention of the German lady on reception who was very helpful. Room was spacious clean and well equipped. I slept well.

Rooms clean Breakfast good. Problem no parking so you have a limited drop off area which gets full if more than 2 cars. You have to park a short walk away at the multi storey. You will need the Ringo app to book a 1 day stay at your cost. Reception staff helpful. Breakfast staff only one seemed helpful and had a smile. The rest were a mixture of unhappiness and aggrieved customer service. The booking in lady for breakfast seemed not pleased I had not reserved a table, not that I had been told to, but I was on the breakfast list so surely that was a given. She made no attempt at mild politeness as as we crossed paths later,. I was carrying some breakfast item and just had to get out the way. Breakfast as said was good but items did run out, eggs were mostly solid and there was a wait on veggie replacement items. Maybe the staff were "unhappy" as who are wants to get up on a Sunday to do a breakfast service for a 7am start. Mind we were spoiled at Faversham Premier Inn were all the breakfast staff were service personified...

We have stayed in many Premier Inns, this one included, in the past and they have always been excellent. Unfortunately this was the most uncomfortable bed in room 511!!! Mattress broken on one side. Premier Inn advertises their comfortable beds. We reported it on our first morning but arriving late back in the evening nothing had been done…..another uncomfortable night!!! Thankfully our stay was only two nights!!!!!

I've stayed in many hotels in my life from budget to high end hotels in Asia & Europe. U.K hotels are the worst with less than minimum amenities in this room. The room have NO WINDOW! I felt I'm staying in a prison cell. Wifi additional £10! One of the bedside table lamp not working. No mini fridge, no free bottled water(hottest day on record) no ice machine maker nearby. In the bathroom, one type of gel for hand, hair & body. Only upside the room have air conditioning...This morning we went for breakfast the coffee machine was broken. We couldn't park our car in the underground parking because it was closed, we now have to move our car to another parking spot! Also a staff came knocking on our door to tell us to leave because we stayed passed midday. We had to finished our call that's all!! I left my phone charger in the room because we had to leave immediately, I called back later and spoke to the receptionist, she said that it was not in the room?!

Great place to stay and very central for Tunbridge Wells. Staff super friendly and efficient. We were able to park right outside. The room was large and clean and the bed was super comfortable

I can't see the difference between this Premier Inn and good 4* hotel. Great room, spotless and comfy, atmosphere in the bar, evening menu looked good, breakfast was very good - price was fab... and the location spot on for the main areas of Tunbridge Wells. 24Hr Parking was a tenner less than 100 yds up the road. Good venue for the lovely Assembly Hall Theatre and nearby restaurants. I can't find a negative.

Hotel was quite modern as soon as you walk in, with auto book in' stands. Though these stands seemed not to be working. The bedroom was, as usual, modern, comfortable, clean, and perfect. I paid £100 for 1 night on a Saturday in November. okay value. The breakfast however was not so perfect. They only had 1 coffee machine which was always running out of milk or had to be emptied. I'd recommend getting another one, or getting a better one. Wetherspoons machines do this brilliantly. Location is seconds away from a massive parking garage, and train station and a 5 minute walk to the pub.

Extremely pleased with my stay at this Premier Inn in Tunbridge Wells. I had never been to the area and the lady on reception was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and directed me to some hotspots nearby during the 5 nights I stayed. The hotel itself is immaculate, and in a great location just 5 minutes away from shops, restaurants, the train station and bus stops. You get what you expect with Premier Inn when it comes to the room amenities and the air-con worked a treat. All staff are friendly and professional and the breakfast was great. I took mine upstairs during the course of my stay, and I did not stay for dinner either, so I can't comment on the restaurant itself but it seemed spacious and welcoming. I look forward to returning.
