    Large lake with public footpath around 3/4 of it. Nice place to walk the dog and watch the local wildlife.

    Walked on the quieter side. Choice of the lake or the river, or both! Great escape.

    It's ok, not very big, it will take you 30 minutes to walk around the lake. There are better walks if you walk away from the lakes.

    Nice place to open water swim. Have to dodge a load of swan poo to get in though
