OH Just Wow what a great find the best fish and chips I've had in years maybe even ever that's how nice this place is. Staff so friendly the place is absolutely spotless the food is absolutely amazing the fish chips and mushy peas I ordered was fresh hot and ever so good the batter melts in your mouth yummmy? If you enjoy your fish then this definitely a place to visit. It also offers a take away menu. 5 *

EDITED 9TH APRIL TO ADD: NOW UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP, MY REVIEW IS FOR THE OLD OWNERS. The food was amazing, as were the staff. It's hard to get fish and chips just right, you can end up with too much grease, or anaemic chips that still have some crunch to them. You don't need to worry about that here. The chips were fluffy, and there were so many of them. The fish was huge and cooked perfectly, and the mushy peas were made on site and tasted beautiful. Great value for money. I sat in and dined, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were all laughing and getting along with the work in a happy manner. I will absolutely be coming here again, I can't believe I hadn't before!

Spent £33 on cod, Huss and chips and it was the worst meal we have ever had. The cod did not look or taste like cod, tasted very salty and the batter was soggy. After going to Torbay’s for over 30 will not be going back.

Best fish & chips ever! We had cod with a cod roe on the side, as my husband had never tried it! So so good. Beautifully cooked food, comfortable restaurant, great manager/owner - we actually didn’t ask. Really friendly man. Go, you won’t be disappointed 😁

Best fish and chips we've found in the Folkestone-Hythe area. Super-attentive and charming young waitress cared for us and our 3 world-sailing grandchildren. Try cod with sweet potato chips and garden peas, for instance. Children loved banana split and sundae desserts. Highly recomnended!

I visited with my sisters on Thurs 30 November 2023. The welcome and service was wonderful; friendly professional and efficient. The food was absolutely superb; and it was a warm and safe and relaxing environment in which to spend time eating and talking. Altogether a very pleasant experience. Well done to all.

Only bought a portion of chips. Under new ownership since our last visit, nice staff but no customers eating in the restaurant. Chips very tasty.
