The Leatherhead club has been transformed since the new owners took over about a year or so ago… the club house is now such a nice place to enjoy after a round of golf, especially in the winter with the open fire… The food and drinks are also now on point. The course has come on leaps and bounds with improved drainage making the course playable even with wetter conditions unlike before. The greens are also vastly improved since new owenership. The new look driving range is fantastic - you can clearly see this club is heading in the right direction. I would recommend the club to anyone.

My favourite new course in Surrey, to be fair my favourite new course full stop! What the new owners have done to an historic golf club is nothing short of amazing! The investment in the Club House, Golf Course (especially the greens), Driving Range, Restaurant and overall service is absolutely brilliant! Leatherhead Golf course should be on everyone’s list to play!

Have been a member for over a year now and the change has been incredible! Fantastic staff and the clubhouse has been transformed! Keeps getting better and better!

We were extremely disappointed today with the maintenance of the fairway and the greens. The condition of the course fell far short of what we expected, leading to us losing interest after just a few holes. Throughout our walk of 18 holes, we noticed numerous cracked and damaged areas on the course, with spots scattered everywhere, which further added to our frustration. On a positive note, the chicken salad served was of high quality and provided some enjoyment.

Fantastic place. Simply stunning course, amazing facilities with super friendly staff. What a difference! Been playing here for over 20 years as a non member and seen it slowly getting neglected. Just arrived and great to see the pavement has been washed, no sign of wasps licking beer off the pavement and guest swatting their heads. Clean sparkly outside tables with no smears or stickiness. Cushions, yes cushions on the furniture. Plants an entry and a nice signage. Well done and please keep it up, Leatherhead Golf Club…. ITS COMING BACK!

I’ve been a member for 3 years and I’m very impressed with the course work done ever since the new owners took over. I was skeptical what can be done to make this course playable over winter but the fairways and greens are in excellent condition despite the recent rain. Last year this time the course would have been shut let alone allow trolleys. My only problem and the reason I didn’t give 5 star is the members are always pushed aside. Whenever there is an event going on at the clubhouse the members have to make do without food after the round and not even a warning. That is very sad I don’t believe that will improve the members will never be given priority at this club but who knows maybe I will be wrong about this too. For now I would advise anybody wishing to visit and play to pack a sandwich or book a table at the pub next door for a well deserved meal after your round.

Having played many courses around Sussex and Surrey over the summer, the value for money for a round here is really poor. The first fairway is treacherous to say the least! The greens were in terrible condition and covered in sand. Most of the tee boxes were also poorly kept. There were only two or three fairways on the course were we felt that we were on a reasonable golf course. There are plenty of other courses in the area with lower/similarly priced green fees that are in 100 times better condition than what this golf course is. On a positive note, the clubhouse is brilliant and the staff were very friendly.
