Very nice church!! The people is so friendly and take care of the history of their Church. It’s not far from the main train terminal, and close other Brighton beautiful places, these places make a combination of heritage and modernization that position this wonderful city as one of the most important destinations in southern England.

Photos never do justice to stained glass! These are pretty astounding here as are the carved and stained eves. Well worth 30 minutes of your time to visit here!!

Large and beautiful church somewhat hidden on West Street. As someone said “very large for a small church.”

Like most of the old and expensive to run Wagnerian churches in Brighton, St. Paul's in West Street is slowly dying. Typically of these churches, there were only a handful of regular worshippers on Sunday morning and, truthfully speaking, its days are numbered. The worship was devout but distant, both spatially and as a memory of times past. Best to let it go gracefully really.

How do you rate a church? Well it has a beautiful painted ceiling, wonderful stained glass and good acoustics for our choir. Worship? Ask a Christian who goes. Note it's Anglo-Catholic.
