Perfect place for all levels, it's a huge indoor space with wooden floor throughout, there's even room for scooters 😎. The entry fee is fair and they have equipment you can rent for a minimal price. Also has a seated area for onlookers etc. Prebook online or pay on the door. Perfect for rainy or cold days.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding the recent string of cancellations for badminton court bookings at your facility. For the past three weeks, my group and I have consistently booked badminton courts, only to have our reservations abruptly canceled without any valid explanations provided. Today, we arrived at the Better Center at Barking and Dagenham for our scheduled booking, only to be informed that the badminton courts had been canceled once again. To make matters worse, we were told that an email notification regarding the cancellation failed to be delivered. This recurring issue is unacceptable, especially from a reputable company like yours. The frequency of these cancellations is disrupting our plans and wasting our time. We rely on your facility to honor our bookings and provide the service we expect. The lack of communication and reliability is simply unacceptable. Furthermore, the customer service we received at the reception desk was shockingly poor. The staff seemed indifferent to our concerns and provided no assistance in resolving the situation. This level of service is below any reasonable standard and reflects poorly on your establishment. As paying customers, we deserve better treatment and more reliable service. I urge you to address this issue promptly and implement measures to prevent such occurrences in the future. It is crucial for your reputation and for maintaining customer satisfaction.

Joined them for Badminton Courts which is part of my package, but despite that I am paying a hefty amount each month to play badminton, they keep cancelling last minute if a private party approaches them for a private hire. Instead of being honest and upfront about why they are cancelling for more money, they lie and say that the Courts are under maintenance. It's a shame that a brand of their calibre has to resort to lying to make extra money and steal us of our hard earned money.

Primarily use the center for badminton as it has multiple courts in the sports hall to a good standard. The reason for the one star is the center will often and without notice cancel booking for badminton with no refunds to the members to who them. Given its a service which is being paid for its poor that we can turn up and the session be cancelled without notice

The badminton court booking system and attitude of the staff have taken a nosedive in the last few months with last-minute court cancellations, poor customer service and treating customers rudely. According to their terms and conditions, they are allowed to cancel bookings at the last minute, however, as a customer, it is only tolerable in exceptional circumstances. A clearer policy on acceptable reasons for cancellations is needed along with a compensation for inconvenience. If you plan to do this on a regular basis, then please let us know so that we can find a facility with more reliable services.

Always talking about staying active working together as a community etc but disappointing us on daily basis with the ridiculous customer service and last minute cancellations whenever we book a session to play badminton. Been a member for a while because I play badminton at Barking Sport Centre. Even after paying so much money and making bookings in advance but my bookings get cancel last minutes just so they can make more money from others club by giving them the whole hall and cancel our organised sessions relentlessly.

From last 2 months they have been consistently cancelling badminton bookings. Sometimes on the same day and sometimes last minute cancellations. And the worse case scenario is sometimes they don’t even bother to send an email. Nobody from the team is listening and taking the responsibility of resolving this issue.

Avoid This Smash: As an avid badminton enthusiast, I joined this gym couple of years ago to play badminton. Since last couple of months I had the misfortune of experiencing badminton courts, and let me tell you, it was a complete drop shot into disappointment. Court Cancellations: The most glaring issue was the frequent cancellation of badminton courts. My carefully planned rallies were met with more "court unavailable" notifications than winning smashes. This lack of reliability is enough to leave any badminton player stranded and frustrated. Poor lighting: Adding insult to injury was the poor lighting, both in the sports hall and the car park. The badminton court felt more like a twilight zone, making it difficult to track the shuttlecock. The dimly lit car park, on the other hand, was an unnerving welcome and goodbye. I have been playing badminton last 15 years in different London boroughs and never seen £1.50 charge for non members to play badminton with a member. This is a joke as we need at least two players to play. In conclusion, unless you enjoy the thrill of unpredictable cancellations, prefer badminton in poor lighting, and find solace in dimly lit parking lots, steer clear of this badminton facilities. Do yourself a favor and avoid this particular badminton centre.

Daily cancellations of badminton bookings, last minute, minimal notice. Have discussed this with the manager James who assured me that he plans ahead and it was the system at fault, however nothing has changed. They have let the badminton community down, no consideration, no empathy, no respect. Choosing paid private bookings over members pre-booked sessions. I guess money talks, so much for being a social community enterprise, just a fancy slogan. Disappointing.

This gym has been consistently going downhill since it's opening. It's a shame because it's a good location for me and has very good potential. The lack of care with the maintenance of the gym trickles down onto members who leave it in a state, especially during peak times when most people are able to attend as it closes early at 10pm on weekdays. Positives: - Free Parking - 3 floors of workout areas Negatives: - Lack of maintenance (weights are everywhere, hard to find them, messy) - Some machines and equipment outdated or damaged - Monthly price not worth paying £32 for what you get - Not 24/7 - Weights room downstairs is just cluttered with equipment and the whole room just looks congested

Skatepark review. We travelled a couple of hours to get there and it was worth the effort. Great skatepark with a big selection of ramps, dropins, bowls, half pipes, rails... It has it all. Fast wood construction in great condition. And very friendly staff at check-in.

Been going to this gym for many years. Due to financial reasons I recently had to stop my membership. I was on a walk in mayesbrook park the other day and asked to use the bathroom (I have bladder issues) and was denied as I wasn't a member. As the only toilets in the park where else am I suppose to go? Really disappointed with the way this 'social enterprise' conducts itself. To add to this, they have issues with people playing badminton after their one hour session is over, even if no-one else has booked the court and the sport hall is basically empty... Really disappointing stuff.

STAFF UNPREPARED AND UNHELPFUL ON BIRTHDAY PARTY Has a host i had the worst birthday party for my daughter in these place: - allergic guests were left with no food ( email with dietary requirements send 8 days prior) - trampoline booked for 1hr and my little guests could stay for 25 minutes only (delay was from our representative) - food was cold - room was icy cold (one of my guests said that passing in front of other rooms it felt heating was on) - manager on duty the most unhelpful and uncaring person ever I've asked for a director contact and I'm still waiting. I truly recommend you to go somewhere else. That was too stressful compared to the money we paid for!

The gym here is terrible and they're increasing the prices! I've seen lower priced gyms being way better than this one while being a lot smaller, I'm going to change to other gym providers soon. There are barely multiple sets of the same free weights you have to wait for someone to finish before using, the benches are rocking side to side, the floor is uneven, barely any attachments for cable machines to go around.

This place just gets worse and worse. I'm not sure about other activities, but badminton booking is by far the worse. Already expensive booking which does not allow bringing a person for free without them having to pay £1.50. Apparently this fee will also increase to £3.00 from August 2022. What a joke. Do they expect us to play badminton ourselves? The reception is also a joke. Very inconsistent. They tend to change the rules pretty much every week.

Even though my first impression when I came in to see rooms was really good because the person happen to work that day was fantastic, the actual birthday party was far from perfect! The staff was non existent, floor of the party room was all full of dirt, whenever I did come acrosss someone, all they wanted to make sure is that I paid for extra children, so I was asked like 10 times about this!! When the food finally arrived, I had to give it out myself, whoever brought the food said she doesn’t know what are the children’s names etc, like I did?!? The person who was placing the cups, dropped a bunch on the floor in front of all parents and simply kept putting them on the table in front of the children. The squash never arrived, only when all children finished their meal! I understand you employ young people which is great, but there need to be more training in place as unfortunately they don’t have much work ethic and all they want to have is a banter with their colleagues and us working people have to pay £500 for a party that you supposed to make great and not stressful!!

Skatepark review: staff friendly and helpful, good layout, size of ramps, and with flat area for practice. But the wood can be quite slippery, my wheels slipped out from under me at the top of a ramp and made me fall pretty badly. Unfortunately I wouldn’t come back for this reason.

had amazing time at extreme trampoline barking! the staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming, there were loads of different activities and areas available- dodge ball arena, basketball dunk, jumping into foam pits in addition to the soft play area on top of a vast number of trampolines. Great exercise and great fun! Good price too for everything that's offered and was such a extreme difference to our horrendous experience we had at Flip Out e6. Thank you Extreme Trampoline for restoring our positive fun, safe experience at a trampoline park! we will definitely be recommending to our friends and returning soon!

Took my son climbing there whose afraid of heights. Was given a warm welcome by Muhammad who was amazing with my son and helped him and gave him confidence to even try some of the wall. Muhammad was a natural at his job and made me feel at ease in leaving my son with him. Top job by the lad, would recommend him to others for sure.

The soft play is nice and small and is never busy. I take my nephews there from time to time and we have a good time. The problem is there are some stairs in the middle of the playground which are covered with metal and they are very slippery. Im getting heart attacks every time i see them running towards those stairs. It is a 10/10 hazard, and can cause serious injuries to the kids.

We visited the trampoline park and the soft play. Great fun for the kids, very clean. Only points were the fact we couldn’t access the softplay from the trampoline park. Even though there was access we were made to walk back all around the building to the other side. Also the cafe was closed.

I held my daughter's birthday party at this establishment today. I paid for a party package as I have attended previous parties here before. Firstly, the room that I booked was left in a state from a precious party. Although, they offered an alternative, I picked the room I wanted for a reason. They managed to clean it up as best as possible whilst we was there but it easy not of great standard. Secondly, they always give misleading instructions to their customers. They told me I was unable to pay for extra kids on the day but previous parties were allowed to do so, resulting in me losing out on money with no rectification. A member of staff said I'd be able to use it to attend in future, whereas the manager point blank said no there's nothing he can do about it. Lastly, the food was not up to it's usual standard as ALL the kids said they didn't like the food and there was leftovers. Bare in mind, my children and I have attended parties herer before and had no issues prior. I'm so disappointed with the service that Better have provided as I am quite regular customer and have been attending here since it opened. This has led to me not wanting to come back again!

Very complicated system to book in with no desk help. Wasted 45 minutes on entry. Tablet by entrance are installed with 1980's software. After payment there wasn't any reference no on secreen with no confirmation email. I have to call staff to see my tickets details on secreen as she wasn't able to find me in her system by using my email and phone number. She wasn't able to see socks payment with tickets then i have to show my bank statement and she add tickets price menully to figer out the payment of socks.

I had organised my child’s birthday party. It was our first experience for party booking. Trampoline space is good and there is no doubt about it. Staff is friendly. However, they need to invest in party arrangements. I paid around £19 for each child as there must be ATLEAST 10 children booked for the party. Food was ok, with drinks. I had ordered adults food which was a good portion size. There wasn’t any salad, cutlery or spare plates. I thought they might provide us tissues for the cake but there were limited supply. Party room was good size. Ella was great as she welcomed our guests. Children had great time.

Review regarding the skate Park/climbing walls. The skate park is a great size with lots of ramps and bowls and obstacles. Everybody friendly and happy to help younger skaters. The climbing walls are great too, enough to keep the kids busy for the session. What really impresses me about this place is the amazing friendly and helpful staff. One member of staff (Nathan) helped teach the kids to do some tricks and moves. Absolutely brilliant. Each time we come here, they go beyond there way to make the experience great for our kids and this includes the climbing walls. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves skating in any forms.

  • 4/5 Carrera-Leigh D. 1 year ago on Google
The park and the staff are great (shout to Nathan!). Location isn't ideal, especially as the nearest station is across a park that feels sketchy to cross after dark, but appreciate they can't exactly pick it up and move it. Skatepark itself can get very busy and during kid-friendly sessions so pick your time wisely if you're coming for a serious skate or bike session. An appeal to the parents of scooter kids: please ensure yours are willing to turns and generally be respectful of others. On too many occasions I've watched under 12s snake, drop in without looking and generally practice unsafe behaviour, which spoils the experience for others who've also paid to be there.

Best soft play and trampoline park I’ve been to, very clean, went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t even busy. Only downside was 1 member of staff working at the reception on a busy Saturday afternoon, there were 2 birthday parties and many others using the facilities but one staff member trying to do it all, he was rude too, couldn’t handle it and was rolling his eyes and sighing at customers.

Local to me, but going for the first time for my friends son birthday party. Very large premises, housing gym, sports house, soft play and bouncing play. Ample parking space. Very impressed with the cleanliness and friendly staff. Soft play was small, obviously not a proper soft play, but none the less, kids still had fun, was clean and spaced out. Bounce area is very big with various areas. For parties I would highly recommend, selection of kids meal and for adults, a plus food is halal!

The trapoline park itself was really nice and fun to play in.The service though was really bad, they didn't let us bring food from outside or even help us cut the cake. There was a list of names of kids who ordered for certain foods. They just gave us the list and didn't read out the food orders. They also didn't decorate the room for us. They didn't give us party packs although we brought our own one. I will never be going back there again

I love this place! When I was younger I used to skateboard here, and managed to get a job as a receptionist for the gym; was a lovely team to work with. Now, I bring my son to softplay and we come here nearly every day. The staff are friendly and very considerate.

It was my kids first experience at the Clip n Climb! We had the best experience with Quinten. He was so calm and patient and extremely motivating. He taught techniques, showed, helped and pushed the kids to their best capacity, all with a never ending smile. My kids were so happy and said we will always come here, only because Quinten made their experience an unforgettable one! Thank you so much to Quinten from me and my kids! We truly appreciated your kind support and hope to have more experiences with you around.
