This is my preferred restaurant in UK They serve fresh fish and the way they serve is special because it’s not full of sauces or spicy it’s just prepared with the test of the seafood or fresh fish so you can test the real test that is amazing for me. You can choose for crab, lobster oyster and muscles but there are a lot of delicious that you can choose for you. The place is very different from the other , there are a lot of space I suggested you to booking in the advance because this place is very famous and the food is so it’s really really required Price It’s fine Service is fine I recommend you come here

Really lovely place. We stopped in just for a drink and ended up having the scallops. They were to die for. Fantastic range of drinks and food on offer. Would highly recommend.

Good food, the dining area is mainly outside which is suboptimal on colder days. Service was below average with items missed off the order and slow service. Steak was overcooked. My friend ordered a rare steak which came out medium

Great pub and really delicious food. Well sized portions which will fill you up. Prices are reasonable and was a lovely place to catch up over lunch! There were vegan options available too which was a bonus for my group.

Fantastic pub/restaurant serving a wonderful array of dishes ranging from classic seafood courses to sumptuous roasts in a relaxed dining atmosphere... Along with attentive and friendly staff it's like having all your birthdays at once!!!

Good fairly simple selection of quality meals. Went on a Sunday so included roasts in addition to the regular menu. Dog friendly and on the day the young staff were very helpful and if didn't know the answer to a question went off and found out. All in all highly recommended and well worth popping in if you're in the area.

Great food - calamari starter was crispy and good sized, the Smokie was very rich but yummy mind flat iron steak though gorgeous with cracking french fries and properly cooked was a bit pricey for that cut of meat. Staff though they were on their first shifts or just nearly new were good, polite and attentive but not intrusive (5 stars to them). The £30ish Chardonnay was pleasant, the naughty 6 something percent cider from whisky barrels awesome and a decent glass of red Shiraz... Be aware there is a service charge...

We were part of a large Christmas do Saturday night downstairs The atmosphere was lively, buzzing and fun Staff very friendly and helpful Food was very very good in particular the Halibut fillet with parsnip purée and honey truffle - so so delicious

let me start by saying that the food here is immaculate, the customer service is here is also 10/10, and the plates, cutlery and glasses are spotless ever since the month of September.

Absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was lovely, a really nice vibe! The food was perfect... Great menu choices and beautifully cooked. The prices were extremely reasonable for the lovely quality of the food but... what really makes this place great and gives it its 5 star rating is the staff! So professional, polite, caring, friendly, could not do enough for you. Outstanding! We will be back. Thank you so much for making our evening so pleasant and enjoyable.

Visited here for Father’s Day yesterday , food was fantastic as usual , we had oysters , squid , my wife had skate and I had the lobster and champagne deal which was really good value and was delicious , we dined outside was a lovely day on the terrace and our waitress who has served us before was again really helpful and really friendly , thanks again and see you soon ☺️

Warm inviting pub and restaurant serving excellent seafood and shellfish. Great service, nice people and some good value deals. We had the midweek £30 Moules & Wine offer: two 1kg servings of delicious mussels with mariniere, thai or a la creme broths and a bottle of Pinot Gris worth £22 which can be offset against any other wine you choose on the list or against beers (super range) etc. Lovely plump, fresh mussels, perfectly cooked and with lovely sauces and some crusty bread included. The starters (additional cost) are excellent and the chunky chips, fries or "dirty fries" are delicious (also extra cost option). We will definitely return.

Last visit was average really. Food was nice but expensive and had a 1.5 hr wait for the mains. Set menu price excluded VAT which was added at the end, felt a bit stealthy. Waitresses were good and staff were pleasant.

Although I only popped in for a brief drink I was made to feel welcomed as If I was an old friend. The team are professional and attentive without being intrusive and I cannot recommend a visit to Sankey's highly enough. Ian

Booked a table for 2 people at the last minute and knew nothing of the place beforehand. We were not disappointed, the food was amazing and well priced. A wonderful experience and will certainly return the next time we visit TW or perhaps even pass through!

Very good fish, slightly depleted by some weather based fishing issues! Lovely piece of monkfish with sides. Could have more vegetarian options to be honest. Adding a service charge (it’s becoming more prevalent) is unnecessary and is really frustrating
