Really warm and welcoming atmosphere, mixed crowd of young and old, kids and dogs etc. lovely! Food was great, made with love and seasonal vegetables and nice sauces and chips. Drinks good, had a great red wine with my steak. Book a table in time. It’s often booked out on the weekends!! Came back recently and had Burgers with chips, really nice meat and tasty chips.

Thought she got better. Why is the woman behind the bar so bloody miserable and rude? Makes you feel like you should walk out and never come back. How has she not left yet? Unbelievable.

Have been coming here for years. Always loved the place. However prices have gone up and portions have got smaller? Just look at this £16 risotto ie basically a plate of rice. Small portion! Why not be a bit more generous?!

Beautiful pub and restaurant. Plenty of parking to the front or on the road to the side, great menu with a decent number of veggie options plus a kids menu. We've never failed to get a table turning up although it can get busy at peak times! Lovely outdoor area and kids can run on the field out the back. Staff super friendly. I had the quiche today (pictured) and it was so smooth and creamy!

Wow..Simply Wow. Had lunch today and was subjected to the most appalling behaviour by someone called Evi, Avi?? She threw our lunches down and we had to ask for our drinks no less than three times. I have no idea what we did to offend her but we eventually had to walk out as it became too uncomfortable for my guests... we also didnt pay... Truly appaling. I cannot recommend this pub in any way and we wont be back. Awful

My wife and I had an excellent lunch at the Hare on Saturday recently. Starter. Main and desert were all delicious and made the whole experience really enjoyable

My wife and I had an evening meal here on 27th July 2023 to celebrate her birthday. One of the reasons we chose the Hare is that they have a good selection of vegetarian meals as my wife does not eat meat. The food was excellent, all cooked to perfection. We were also very impressed with the service. The waitresses were very friendly and extremely efficient. We will certainly be coming back.

Lovely place to relax indoors or outside. The service is great but it can be a little pricey compared to other local pubs. The food is very tasty. Visited again after the refurb 26th Nov 2023, had a cider. The bar menu was good but way over priced. Warm bread and Olive Oil £6.45, Dirty Fries £5.95, fries were standard but still.

Fantastic. The food was some of the best we had in England. The pea soup was fought over by the kids, and I’d be happy to eat the chicken pie once a week till I die. Great green put the front for kids to burn energy. Easy parking.

Lovely family lunch for mum's birthday. The place was absolutely packed and we were a table of 8, yet the service was brilliant and attentive rather than rushed and chaotic. Sadly didn't get the name of the lady who served us, but she was so patient, gave advice and recommendations and took a picture for us and was smiley and welcoming. All our meals came out together. The food was lovely with good quality ingredients, and the portion sizes generous. Thank you to all staff at The Hare, we look forward to our next visit.

Really nice pub in Langton Green in a lovely setting and relaxed atmosphere, varied food menu consisting of delicious gastro pub affair!

Evening meal. The gentleman staff member on arrival until our departure was fantastic. Very helpful with the food selection. Mother in law is a fussy eater. She was very happy. The prices are good, the quality was excellent. Best to reserve. All the staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

We came here for a late lunch last week on a Friday afternoon. We were happy to find a parking space right outside the front, having tried to visit a number of times previously and given up after not being able to find anywhere nearby. It’s a shame, as we’d certainly come here a lot more often if parking was improved. We had a friendly welcome and generally the service was good, though there was a mix up with our starters and my husband was brought the wrong thing. It was quickly rectified and the correct one was brought out within five minutes or so. These things happen. The food overall was lovely and far exceeds what you would usually expect in a pub. It was a little expensive but worth it when you consider the quality you get. We would definitely return.

Came for a Sunday dinner, food was lovely, staff and friendly and it’s got a lovely vibe. The vegan starter and main options are great but they fumble with the deserts so if you’re looking for an all rounder be prepared for a classic sorbet which is absolutely fine but given the effort for the starters and mains - just felt like it’s missed opportunity. Otherwise everyone I was with who had non-vegan food loved it. So can’t fault the place really!!

Food was decent, starter portion (smoked salmon) very unfulfilling. Bread served with the French Onion soup was tasteless and the butter provided could have benefitted from some sea salt. The mixed roast beef/porchetta was alright. Flavour wise nice, but again the portion size let it down. Had to ask for more roast potatoes for the table as they were a bit tough and sparse. The second batch were better. Service was attentive but not all servers were overly friendly or smiley. One guest enjoyed their fish and chips and another enjoyed the roast lamb. The bill was expensive bearing in mind some of us left not feeling like we ate that much and we only had one alcoholic drink each probably.

The place is worth the 5 stars reviews it receives, a visit to the Enchanted forest nearby and than this place to end the day made it perfect. We had the steak, chicken and roast pork for kids which all of us loved, as we had kids we were seated in a quieter space which made it even better for us. We went on a Sunday around 18:30 and it had just the right amount of people so we were not overly conscious when eating; the food, service, ambience, decor; all very very recommendable for a visit.

Lovely pub, food was good, but my dad said not as good as it has been, his pie crust was very hard!! I had 3 starters as a main and the waitress brought my father's food over and one of my starters, I said to the waitress I have two more, as the dishes were very small I thought she could carry more, her reply was blunt, " I only have one pair hands!! Silly of me maybe to say but still a rude reply. Also I was asked to move my car whilst I was eating as they had a delivery, I had parked in guest parking space. I just found the whole experience a bit off.

Julian served us and was very clear in explaining the local beers available as well as details regarding providence of the menu. He also was very helpful in giving information regarding the local area, his service was excellent. The food was excellent value for money and we will happily recommend your pub to our friends and family.

Great pub which does very very good food! Lovely setting, loads of outdoor space, parking is limited but can park close by when car park is full. Staff very good and helpful. We call into here when working in the area at times and it's never disappointed.

We had Sunday lunch for twelve to celebrate a friends 60th and while I have eat there many times over the years, last Sundays meal was the best Sunday Lunch I have had for ages. The roast beef was perfectly cooked and tender with all the trimmings as was the starter and pudding. Everyone was impressed. Thank you The Hare.

Husband's food excellent apart from veg. Asked for mixed veg without cabbage - got mixed veg with cabbage. My food waa just OK. Service poor. Staff more interested in chatting to themselves. Had to keep attracting their attention if wanted anything but to be fair once we got their attention they were polite & very helpful.
