An interesting 5000 year old Neolithic site. Some good info boards explaining the history. There’s a small car park (about 6 car spaces) and 10 min walk from there to the site (not pushchair friendly). The trees surrounding the site have all sorts of tributes and offerings tied to them - the site seems to be a bit of a pagan magnet. The site is fenced off but lots of folks hopping over the fence to touch the stones which isn’t really a problem I think.

I have visited this ancient National Trust site many times and never fails to impress. It is fairly isolated which adds to its enchanting charm. A 5-10min walk from the small free car park. It has wooden steps leading up to the remains of the burial chamber mound and back down on the other side. There are boards which give a lot of helpful information of the sites history.

Nice place to visit but a smallish site so if you do visit and you live a distance away it is probably advisable that you also visit Addington long barrow to extend your visit. The views from the Coldrum Long barrow are stunning and the history of the site is interesting. The car park is quite small with room for only about 6 cars but the ruins are definitely worth a visit. There are no bins here so if your too lazy to take you rubbish home or simply brain dead and like to litter then please don’t bother visiting.

Nice little spot. Good sun trap, nice walks. Not much to it but worth a visit if you are in the area. We came via the very tight, single lane road, seems like it couldn't possibly be the right way but follow the sat navigation on this occasion!

Small car park, only a few spaces but we had no problem parking. Lovely walk through the countryside to get to the long barrow, not completely flat, but still a relatively easy walk. Beautiful place, will definitely visit again. Lots of flora and fauna to see too

Finest example of a megalithic longbarrow in Kent, it pre-dates Stone henge by 1000 years. Lovely walk from the car park through woods and fields. Well worth a visit.

A very interesting visit. There is space for 10 cars in the carpark but I don't imagine it ever draws a crowd and it was easy to find using the postcode on the National Trust web site. The walk to the barrow was about 20 minutes and well sign posted. It is strange to be somewhere that drew families dressed in animal skins to bury their dead 3000 years ago.

Great site and nice circuit walk, maybe an hourish, up to Trosley Park from the small car park.

Lovely little site in a scenic location. It's a 10 min walk from the National Trust car park, which is super skinny (tree lined in both sides). Always blows mind the age of sites like this, so cool to see!

I visited here today and was really pleased; there was an excellent carpark, there were signs from the carpark to easily guide you to the Long Barrow, there was an information sign and information board as well as a bench. Everything was clean and well kept. Beautiful landscapes up to the Barrow. Note: to see the Barrow you need to be able to climb steps. For a National Trust property of this type it was great πŸ‘ would recommend for a quick 20 to 30min visit.

When there's something on your doorstep and you never visited, it's a great place to ride to sit and ponder

Deffo worth a visit alongside a Sunday Roast at the George Inn down the road. I had no idea it was here and after a medium walk from the car park after navigating winding roads you climb the short stairs to the top of the barrow and walk around the top and down the bottom & out. You can't access the barrow itself but the info display is very interesting.

A not very well known part of Kent's history, partially because it's thousands of years old, and partially as it's a small hidden and free site to visit. Excellent views east from the barrow itself, and as it's only a short walk from Trottiscliffe it makes for a good hiking location. Well worth reading up on the Kent megaliths as they are very unique, and this is the grandest of the ones in Kent.

Beautiful place to visit. Parking is quite limited, but usually fairly quiet. The views from the Longbarrow are spectacular.
