Lovely little space, not from the area just visiting but had a very nice chilled vibe for a Saturday stroll. Some nice market stalls selling decent stuff and shops, some of which were non chain which is always nice to see. A couple of them featured on interior design masters on BBC so they were fun to see in person.

Great places for an afternoon of shopping and coffee. So many unusual and interesting little shops. So many places to eat and drink, yummy cakes and hot drinks. Local market every two weeks, parking is close by.

Lovely spot, friendly service and we didn't feel rushed. Perfect brunch spot. All our food was yummy (except the French toast, as they had run out of compote and the panini was ok). Would recommend these: English Breakfast + Boerewors Buddha bowl Truffle Mushroom Brunch Eggs Wilhelm Coffee was great too and came in mugs.

The go to the area in Tunbridge Wells. This little stretch of space includes a number of high end and local restaurants/cafes. It reminds me a little of European market areas with an abundance of outdoor seating. Great vibes on a nice summer's day! (Don't get much of those) The people here seem relaxed and not in a hurry like London! The markets are worth a look, From fresh fruit and veg to unique plants. Come here early to avoid disappointment if you want a seat! People will sit here for hours!

The best part of Tunbridge Wells! Historic and nice quirky independent shops. Don't visit on a Monday though as a lot of places are closed.

One of the best breakfasts I have had and served all day. The tapas options are pretty stunning too! I’ve tried most of the menu but the eggs royale on a croissant is something quite special and I’m addicted. Only tiny criticism would be to offer other bread types as I personally don’t love soda bread - but that’s a personal preference

Cosy market street with nice restaurants inside and outside in the sun.

Very upmarket chic Georgian shopping centre consisting of independent businesses. There are a range of shops here including pubs, cafes, art galleries, craft and pet shops. Signage from railway station is poor but you exit and turn right. Its about 5-10 minutes. Worth a visit for the experience but as others have said it can be pricey.

Very quaint little area to visit for an afternoon stroll. Lots of variation in the shops but I suspect most visitors browse rather than purchase. Great selection of places to eat or just have a drink and watch the world go by as most have plenty of outdoor seating. I imagine it gets really busy in the summer so get there early in the height of season! Market is there 1st and 3rd weekend of the month and this definitely adds to the charm.

Machines don't work, no phone signal so very hard to actually pay for parking

Lovely old 18th century spa area of the town, with appealing old pedestrian area and several eating places. Note though that the actual 'Well' building is currently (Feb 2023) closed for renovation. Also, several of the eating places are being refurbished and the area is quiet at lunchtime on a Friday. The more modern shopping area of the town is about a 10 minute walk away, up the hill, past the station.

We unreservedly recommend this family-owned restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is great and reasonably priced, and our visit on Hilary's birthday included a rousing rendition of a Turkish-British happy-birthday-to-you song from the staff. We loved the whole experience! Jonathan and Hilary Rayner

Its ok not much there other than somewhere to eat. Quite posh, but a nice Fullers pub. Bonus

The Pantilles in Tunbridge Wells is such a charming and captivating place. It reminds me of a small Parisian street, with tons of great dining options, high-end shopping, and all sorts of markets and activities to check out. It really embodies the essence of the town.

Popped in for a quick pint at the Rag and Trousers in a Sunday night. Everything else was closed. The Pantiles is a very pretty street in Royal Tunbridge Wells. Apparently Friday Saturday nights it’s busy. One and done for me.
