    Rude staff, Kelly is her name and she is unbelievably rude!!! Really bad attitude towards customers and was arguing with me. They tell you to ring at 8:30 but they don’t answer then 2:00 and when they answer all appointments are gone. How are we ever supposed to get an appointment? 2 weeks time isn’t good enough sometimes there are emergencies. No way of getting appointments in this clinic and seems like the receptionists don't work since every time i come in they are talking amongst each other. Surely if the phones were really that busy they would be on them 24/7

    My GP is, in my opinion, the best GP available in this area and the other GPs at The Wells Medical Practice are not far behind! Fantastic responses to test results, a great office management team, and even a nice set of offices to visit when required. The receptionists are, by and large, fantastic too; with an efficiency of effort that seems to govern their working time. Only negative is the inordinate waiting time and phone issues that have more recently seemed to plague the surgery. Having both booked an appointment with one receptionist, then no call, only to call back and be told I couldn't have an appointment that day and to call back the next (it was only 9.30am). Thankfully having such a good GP (and others GPs too) is worth it.

    This medical centre is not fit for purpose. Quite impossible to get through to them on the phone and quite extraordinarily difficult to arrange a telephone call with a doctor- let alone actually see one. A failing practice by any measure.

    Extremely poor. Never answer the phone and never respond. Just about impossible to speak to a doctor - let alone see one. If this was a normal commercial organisation they would be shut down.

    I've seen four doctors and a handful of nurses at this large and busy surgery over the last 8 or so years. Parking can be a pain but I have found it to be worthwhile given that each member of staff I've encountered at this surgery has been very helpful, friendly and very efficient. It's a popular and busy surgery so it can take time to get through on the telephone but I've always found the receptionists extremely helpful and professional - particularly given the amount of calls they likely have to field. I was recommended this surgery by a GP friend living nearby but working further away - perhaps a decade ago now. Prior to being at Clanricarde (now called The Wells Medical Practice) I'd found other NHS GP surgeries to be of very poor standard. I genuinely wish all NHS GP surgeries were as good as this one because all of the employees seem excellent. I understand that this might not be everyone's experience but for me was a relief after 10-11 years or very poor NHS GP experiences to finally be able to access what I think is not just decent but really excellent NHS GP services. I'm extremely grateful to have been recommended this surgery. I'm typing this review because I can see the low number of stars on Google and am rather surprised by this. I think this probably isn't indicative or the quality of the surgery as a whole or it wouldn't be so popular and busy - despite the parking.

    Since the merge of the 2 surgeries the services have dramatically improved. Repeat prescriptions ordered via the app is really easy and efficient. Call back service on reception saves waiting in call queue and they always call back in very short space of time. The receptionists are friendly and very helpful. No prob getting GP appt and unrushed.

    The surgery is very busy. It can be very frustrating to get through. But we love the doctors there. All of them are friendly and professional. They always take time to answer your questions. They are really good at explaining a complex condition in a simple way. Our children love the doctors there as well.

    Things really seem to be improving. I have needed 2 appointments in recent weeks and used the call back function. I was seen both times and everyone was really pleasant

    I find reception staff very helpful always accommodating very easy to get my small children seen when needed and the GP’s I have seen have always been thorough, helpful and empathetic.

    The doctors are great but the reception staff are awful. They're rude and impatient, lack any empathy and have a problem dealing with autistic patients and have inadequate training.

    Great first impression of the Practice. Receptionist really helpful and booked an appointment in for my daughter within the week. I then turned up at the wrong time and they fitted my daughter in with a different GP rather than turning me away. We were seen within 5 minutes and the GP was professional, listened to my concerns, and referred my daughter on to an external service, confirming this by email shortly after.

    I think this practice is outstanding. The new call-back system is excellent and I have always found the receptionists helpful and polite. I really have a problem with some of the reviews. Doesn't sound like my practice in any way. Love the Doctors here. Very grateful to belong to this practice.

    My wife and I (who is from New Zealand) cannot recommend the service we have received from this practice more highly. At every level, the receptionists who probably experience the most pressure on a daily basis, the nurses, and the doctors, all can be pleased with the care and responsibility they evidence towards their patients.     Difficult to get an appointment as always experiencing high volume demand seems 24/7 no matter what time you ring. When eventually you do get through booking 3 days in advance based on my experience. Totally unacceptable.

    For years I've put up with rubbish NHS GPs. This is the first surgery who I'd say was in the excellent bracket. I'm continually amazed by their efficiency and ability to outperform even private doctors. I'm so grateful to have access to this surgery and it's doctors, nurses and midwife. Yes, parking is a bit of a pest. Sometimes it takes a while to get through on the phone. However given my experience in other Boroughs as well as with another practice locally, I do think this surgery is consistenly of very high standard. Based upon two decades in the UK ranging from dire to excellent I would certainly recommend this surgery and for anyone looking to move to a modern, warm and decent healthcare service.
