Extremely fun day out. Its a must for people that have never done curling. We played for my friends bday and it was loads of fun. You need 8 people for two teams. I really enjoyed playing and you don't have to be that athletic. They have big seating area and bar which is great for few drinks. Great idea for parties

Unless you are told about this place you are umlikely to find it by accident! It is on a farm in a converted barn. But for sheer fun and something different to do, it's worth finding and booking as a group. They provide shoes and all the stones, brooms, etc., and provide training. A great couple of hours fun. 5+* However, having been twice and eaten there, the food is dire! Really not recommended, especially for the price charged. Quality is very poor and the chef's palate is equally rated. Go for the curling but pass on the food!

What a great experience. Always something I have wanted to try and reasonably priced for such a unique thing to try. Highly recommend for team building activity or similar or just for mates trying something new. Definitely want to do this again.

We had a really wonderful time here. We were celebrating a special birthday and had a group of 8 people between 13 and 80. After a few practice goes, it is not too difficult to play and in the 2 hour session it is possible for even complete beginners to have a competitive game regardless of age, gender or fitness level. It is a lot of fun too! But of course it takes much longer to get really good and watching the experts play is very impressive! The facilities are good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We all had a really enjoyable time and this is highly recommended if you have a group of people and are looking for something different to try!

Absolutely loved it. Such a shame closing but hopefully a new site will be found soon as would like to go again.

Second visit here and we absolutely love it! The back story about how the only curling rink in the country ended up being in a farm is fantastic but don't be put off by the farmyard location- once you get inside it's a really professional setup including the bar/cafe, viewing area and changing rooms. If you've never tried curling, (hardly anyone has!) I can highly recommend it. Especially good as it's a real leveler of mixed age and ability teams so everyone can enjoy it.

I have been here a few times with groups of friends and it has been such good fun. The booking process is very simple and they give you great tuition to begin with and more freedom when you get a bit more confident. It is such a fun sport to have a go at and you get competent enough to have fun very quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic activity to have a go at. It was a completely new experience for everyone. Staff were excellent, spent around 15-20 mins teaching how it's done, then we had the rest of the 2 hrs just to play curling games, with staff on hand to help if needed. They provide sticky/grippy shoes which make it easy to walk or run on the ice. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a new and different activity to try.
