Very good service, I had a tasty Halloumi breakfast.

The breakfasts have improved over the few months. Very friendly staff. They do a good selection of kids meals. Adult meals are simple dishes. Coffee is okay. Plenty of seating. A good place to grab a quick meal but nothing exceptional. You can collect nectar points when ordering at the cafe.

Absolutely disgraceful, no staff, no hot food and the joke is they advertise outside to come and try new menu! 99% of the time they have stopped serving due to staff shortage, sold out of cakes etc( this is normally Saturday around 4-5 but has been lunch time too). Why bother having this cafe when it clearly struggles to do a coffee and tables are all cleaned with same cloth! Used to be quite acceptable....as I said what went wrong? I would no way recommend it.

Incredibly slow just to get a simple coffee. When you finally get to the front of the queue the lady just walked away leaving me standing there. Strange she didn't do this to the next person after me! Then the drinks take an age. Awful experience.

Very slow service food took 43 mins to arrive and was cold! No waiting time given or indicated -an absolute mess, some tables served before others that had ordered first. Service has been getting steadily worse over the past few weeks. If you want coffee or something from the self service then fine but if you want to order food go and find somewhere else less disappointing.

A couple of weeks ago I went to Sainsburys’s Cafe, Royal Tunbridge Wells, something which I have done many times and had a spiffing time, and the staff have been lovely. However this time was very different, I had a slight issue with a gift voucher and my food order and so suggested I speak to the manager to get all the problems resolved at once and not pressure the clearly rushed and understaffed workers. To my horror, and with what few words are available in the English language for me to describe this, an ogreish cross dresser strutted up to me very aggressively and didn’t seem to care whatsoever about my problem no matter how polite I was. It didn’t help with my issues and just kept a smug smile on its face. I have to bring it’s hygiene up purely because I think it’s disgraceful that someone who is clearly unclean should be allowed near open food preparation areas and being a manager they should treat they’re customers with more empathy and dignity. I would not recommend this place if it was the last Sainsburys in existence. Bloody Disgusting.

Used to be great place for breakfast but that is not the case any more since they reshuffle menu and prices have gone up noticeably. Used to generous portions with great prices, unfortunately those days have been gone now!

Horrendously run. Why the actual is the person operating the till and taking orders, also the one to make coffees, teas, effing fruit smoothies?!?! People literally WALKING OUT. MONEY WALKING OUT of your doors Sainsbury's. Most of your staff are lovely but there is a blonde lady, middle aged- clearly hates her job. Forgets orders frequently, gets huffy, just not an asset to your cafe. It's clearly a really convenient place to go to reward your toddler after a supermarket shop but the whole experience gives me RAGE 9 times out of 10.

Good food, but the wait seems to be really long every time I've been here (50 mins from queue to getting food on the table last time). Staff are polite but seem under resourced and stressed.
