Imagine the scene,,,,4pm school kicking out time, loads of parents with children ,teenagers etc all getting last minute bits n bobs ,.this happens every school day so you would think a super I use this lightly market would be prepared. Not Sainsbury's Tonbridge 1 member of staff on a till 2 in the DIY section . Congratulations to the store manager for the ridiculous situation ,,put more staff in place on tills , hoping something is done soon you might price match Aldi but at least you know what to expect there .

Trolleys trolleys trolleys .I have complained a number of time about the amount of Sainsbury's (Tunbridge Wells) trolleys dumped in and around the area. I counted some fifteen this is disgusting the only answer I got was it's not are problem people keep taking them!!! we will try and get them at some point. As a company they have no respect for the environment and the fact we live here, the company is a disgrace they have a duty of care by law to keep people and the environment clean and safe , something there not interested in . All they do is bring the area down and turn it into an eyesore, I've complained to the local MP with a bit of luck he will sort this out . Maybe I should round the trolleys up and dump them round the mangers house see how he likes it.

Owing to the fact that the checkouts are badly understaffed, paying for your shopping is slow and frustrating. You really get the impression that they have no regard for your time. Despite this, the staff do a fantastic job of making you feel that you're the one inconveniencing them. Unbelievably the shopping experience in Lidl is actually superior, and you don't have to play the stupid 'member prices' game to get fair prices.

Granted, this review is for the pharmacy, but this is the 4th time I've tried to collect a prescription, well within the opening hours stated for it to be closed! Another completely wasted journey and another week without medication.

Has everything but it's always so busy in there. Having a Lidls opposite servicing the Showfields estate hasn't quietened it down either. If anything, attracted more people.

I feel that product ranges are being reduced all the time and being replaced with own-brand items. Self-checkout tills are horribly understaffed. I don't appreciate being treated like a thief - cameras in my face, security-tagged items don't get handed back until after I've paid. The self-checkout experience is very poor - bags have to be checked, then age verification, then you have to wait for items to be de-tagged whilst staff run off with them to serve other customers. There is never anyone around to help find things, and if you do find someone they either don't know what it is (fennel is a green vegetable that looks a bit like a stumpy celery!) or don't know where it is. Fellow customer are more help! It can be excruciating trying to find things. They get 2 stars because the vegetable selection is quite good, but that's about it.

A huge shop with a lot more than just food. They have a cafe, an Argos, a clothes section, homeware etc. Though they have ample parking due to the sheer size of the place certain times can be a nightmare to find a spot. Customer service is spot on, always helpful and quick service.

Bought a Coconut Collaborative Vanilla Custard yesterday (June 28th 2023) and when I got home I found the used by date was 30th May 2023. Tried ringing but it has no option to get through to anybody.

This Sainsbury’s has a steam train in the car park. This Sainsbury’s in not the largest of them all. The range may be slightly smaller for some items. They share the car park with Lidl and the Spa Valley Railway

Nice large selection. Everything we need here for food, nice selection of clothes. And handy to have Argos on hand if you book items to pick up in advance.

Went into this store on Tuesday! It was an awful experience! It's not greatly laid out in certain places ! There was alot of items out of stock too ! My daughters birthday is Friday I brought a cake which is lovely! But I brought a gluten free choc one too as my daughter-in-law & granddaughter have to have gluten free i looked this morning its out of date! the date on it was the day i brought it so it should of been marked down ! So so disappointed!! I now have to go out & get another gluten free cake ! This is the last time i use sainsburys it was also very much more expensive than the tonbridge one !

There's no cafe here, which was quite a disapointment having been caught in a terrific storm. The cafe was the one thing we really wanted!

Very big store with a lot of options! They have a sushi counter and even halal meat. Also a lovely Argos inside for ebay click and collect. Lovely wide parking spaces too!

If you're looking for a supermarket in Tunbridge Wells that offers a good range of halal products, Sainsbury's is definitely a great option. They have a wide selection of fresh meat, poultry, and snacks available, and the store is clean and well-organized. The staff are also really helpful and can assist you in finding any specific halal products you might need. It's a great and convenient option for halal consumers looking for a reliable source for their food shopping needs.

What a dreary chaotic store. Very old and old-fashioned. The store I'm used to in the Midlands is so much more upmarket, bright and organised. Come on Sainsbury's you can do better in the SE...

Nothing special for a supermarket of this size. It's quite expensive compared to other local supermarkets like Tesco or Asda and doesn't really offer enough to justify the extra expense.

This Sainsbury's is a lovely big store, unexpected I thought, I managed to get everything on my shopping list too. Plenty of staff around if you can't anything, the ones I bumped into were helpful and friendly. It's clean, light, bright and airy, a nice place to shop all in all. 🙂 Nov'22. The store is so large that I had to ask three different staff where stuff was and each time they were all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you Sainsbury's 👏 It has a huge range of products and it's own pharmacy too. Just outside the front is a Timpsons shoe repair kiosk.

So, you have an emergency prescription sent through from nhs 111 on a Saturday but can you get an answer from the Pharmacy (worst reviews ever posted about it) to confirm it is open at the advertised times (as the appalling reviews suggest it opens when staff feel like it) and has the medication before you drive 13 miles to collect it??? Can you get a person on the end of a phone at Sainsburys? No and no.

It was really nice there, all the food were clean and fresh but the reason im going to give this a 4 star is because of the dector thingy, it beep everytime someone has smart scan thing.
