Great selection of items, staff could of been more helpful, found items marked down in price, but was not the case when we got to the till..

They sold me a broken item and when I brought it back they said they wouldn't accept it and wouldn't let me return it. The staff gathered around to oppress me. Don't give me a clear explanation. they kicked me out when I wanted to talk clearly. This is called fraud and irresponsibility.

Very helpful very patient and even helped yo load the merchandise into my car. First class service from a guy called Christian he should be appalled. As a hearing impaired person this was first class service well done and thanks.

Wanted a sheet of perspex, to replace 3 panes of shed glass, couldn't find it but member of staff pointed me in the right direction. At home when cutting it to size found it had a cracked (I should have inspected it more vigerously), but thankfully the crack was in a position that was wastage.

Great store. Generally lots of friendly staff to hand if you need assistance. Plenty of parking 👍

Really disappointing. Telephoned asking if I needed to make an appointment re the purchase of kitchen cabinets and worktops. Told no. Arrived an hour later at store and told I needed an appointment! However someone offered to help and started taking my order. Ordering had to be aborted as she had then finished her shift. Not a great experience

I've been let down for the last time by the Tun/Wells store. First it was nails; nothing unusual, just a certain size which was out of stock for two to three weeks - then sanding disks, bog standard 5", completely out of stock - finally a couple of days ago Dulux exterior paint, the shelves were 70-80% empty and the particular colour I wanted, Buckingham green, has been a traditional, staple colour for English houses since Victorian times; two members of staff consulted their devices to check stock and apparently there were two in stock but nowhere to be found. I can appreciate unusual or seasonal items having stock issues but the way things stand presumably you have to get all the stuff you require for a project up front before starting. If you happen to require just a few more nails or an extra small tin of paint to finish a job you can't have any confidence this store will stock your item. By the way I sourced my Dulux paint on Ebay; three day turnaround, free postage, and £7.06 cheaper..... update; correction, two day turnaround, it was delivered today.

Absolute 💯 customer service. I had to travel an hour away to collect an item that wasn't in stock in my local stores. I called the day before to ensure they were available. I arrived at the store a gentleman named Ian helped further with the flooring assistance I required. Whilst paying at the till the assistant named Tom advised me of the B&Q card that I managed to register and have received a discount for my next purchase.

Visited B&Q Tunbridge wells today and was served by a employee called josh. My items costed £34.50. I give him £40 and was given £5.50 change and put it away carefully in my pocket. I rememberd I forgot to get something so I then walked back into the store and got my items. Upon paying I pulled the £5 note out my pocket and it was ripped in half josh told me he can’t accept the DAMAGED cash that he just given me (josh denied giving me a £5 note that was damaged. I was then approached by Christian who had the attitude that he was better than everyone else and was implying that I was lying about receiving a damaged bank note he said he checked the cctv and reckons the bank note was perfectly fine (he clearly never checked properly .. this store needs to start employing people that don’t roll out the wrong side of the bed in the morning and take much better care for providing a good customer service. I will not be using my local store again!

When I visited B&Q Tunbridge Wells I found the staff very helpfull and polite. I did nt get to have a good wonder about the store as the product that I was after was in the main door way(kiln dried logs 60 Ltr bags for my wood burning stove) which I found to be of good value for money and they lasted a good while. This place is well worth a visit for all your DIY and trade needs.

It's OK but getting so pricey ..you can buy online cheaper with free delivery.. Shame because in my younger days this was my one and only store A sign of the times I'm afraid .

Went to my local branch Tunbridge Wells. Needed some help for an off cut for kitchen worktop. Met Gill who advised me to return this morning, well how amazing was Gill had seen apiece and it’s just what I needed. Can’t thank her enough, definitely an asset to B&Q

I have been using B&Q for gardening, home decor and tools. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

Shop is so big which isn't a bad thing in itself but the lack of staff to enquire with makes things almost impossible to find. Visited to buy Crown paint and was told they didn't sell it anymore which isn't helpful! The shop itself was clean and tidy and they had a great range of indoor plants

Unhelpful staff. I am sure there are some staff that are helpful but I couldn’t find any. There are better more helpful DIY stores go to them instead

Well, one B & Q is much like any other, but on the whole I can generally find what I am after. Picked up some nice modern polished chrome and led lights for the house recently and quite reasonable prices. Staff quite helpful and the place is nice and clean. Glad they decided to get rid of the useless self service checkouts they had, never seemed to work properly and were slower than the manual checkouts.

I visited the TW store yesterday and instead of encountering your usual helpful, pleasant staff, I unfortunately was very disappointed to meet Gill who was extremely rude when I asked for help at the self check out. I struggled to use this facility as did she when I had to call her back to help, she told me it was the future and I had to get used to it! She clearly was keen to get back to her chat which I had interrupted. I left the store feeling disappointed.

Bigger than my local b&q, same product range. The car park is of a good size as it is shared with several other large sheds around the retail park, so parking was not a problem, even within a month of Christmas. The drainage system was good enough to drain the copious amounts of rainwater we've had recently to leave a surface that did not require Wellingtons or galoshes, like the Homebase in the Aylesford retail park often does. This was a bonus on this visit, as I was wearing sandals, and there is nothing worse than wet sandals. Well done b&q!

Not too bad. Went to see Christmas lights before the rush. Bit disappointed at the moment

Somehow one of my favourite shops. I'm always popping down here for more kit. Well laid out, lots of stuff and good staff. What more could you ask for? A loyalty card?! Well they got that too... And so did I 😅

This is a big B&Q which has a large variety of items and we often find what we need - it’s on the pricy side though but remember to always sign up for the B&Q card which is fantastic and you get great discounts over email frequently. Staff are usually helpful and we’ve not had a problem so far. The newer self checkouts and collection area has improved efficiently A LOT. The most unfortunate experience we had was when we came in to get a quote for a fitted wardrobe, the interface used for design and quote generation is absolutely awful and the staff are most definitely not given enough information about built in items to adequately help customers. We had questions as simple as “will drawers interfere with the door hinges or should they be moved up/down?”. The staff although very helpful had to eventually admit they didn’t have the answer for this and we mutually decided it’s best that we go for another option.

Well it's a classic British DIY store, with a fairly good footfall / number of shoppers going round it at the weekend, all trying for those 'tasks' we need to complete. Products I went there for, were all in stock & a fairly good selection, allowing a choice on the day. A seemingly well laid out store, wide Isles, easy access shelves, which were stocked with multiple items of each product. Display counters about, so you can look at more expensive items, prior to choosing your wanted or needed Tools. Enough store assistants walking about should you need help. Some shoppers still wearing masks (review written April '22) which was welcome considering infection rates on the rise again. Only gave it 4stars as I chose this store over another closer B&Q to me, as it has a cut-to-size wood counter, but it was closed for some reason today. Ah well. Guess I need to dig out that saw hiding in the shed somewhere...

Shop OK and staff enough on hand to assist. Only issue was trying to understand what is included on purchases without opening box. Not enough information always available to customers or staff. For examples are batteries included, is there a charging cable included? Can unit be operated while on charge etc.

I popped into my local branch today with a friend for a couple of bits. Firstly I was greeted by a very nice young lady called Becky. She was welcoming and friendly. My friend and I were then greeted by another member of staff. Who again was very kind and helpful. His name was Kieran. He showed us around to various parts of the store, whilst helping my friend locate the necessary items she was after. Very clean and friendly store. Would recommend a visit there for all your DIY needs.

A larger b&q so carries a good amount of stuff unlike the smaller ones. Good parking. Grotty toilet. Staff are the only let down. Many are unfriendly and unhelpful

Staff were really helpful and friendly and the range of products is excellent. I'd rate it five stars if it wasn't a little on the pricy side but I guess that's just the same everywhere now.

Vast range, well stocked, very tidy , but I was there late afternoon and there was literally no one on the shop floor to ask for help. Its self service I know but this takes it to a whole new level . Long queues on the till whenever you go there be ready to wait
