I would recommend booking a personal shopping appointment. The lady was just brilliant. She took into account what I was looking for and brought a good range of dresses into a spacious private changing area before I arrived. She then helped me choose a dress. It was a really great experience. I didn’t feel under pressure to purchase but I felt with her help I was able to choose the perfect dress for my event. I am really pleased I booked the personal shopping appointment and would wholeheartedly recommend the experience.

If you want a quick meal would advise somewhere else. Yesterday placed our order and some 40 minutes later it was served!!. Although we only ordered water with meal this was not served until meal arrived. Our order was for a simple bacon sandwich with fries. It was served in sourdough bread which as had not been toasted was very chewy to eat. The fries were OK. If doing a bacon sandwich surely something like a tiger loaf would have been a better option. Whenever we have visited Tunbridge Wells in the past we have always eaten at Hoopers as was really good. In future will need to find somewhere else. Very disappointed.

The lady in the perfume department was very knowledgeable and super helpful and I left with a new EDT.

Old fashioned charm mixed with some lovely stock, Fashion to Pens! It used to have an amazing furniture department now sadly gone. Guess nothing lasts forever!

Traditional town centre department store, that we have all too few of nowadays. The type of place you spend a Saturday or Sunday in with your parents as a kid. Shop here and keep them going.

A lovely place to shop with a good cafe on the top floor. Lots of car parks close by. Centrally located with the railway station opposite.

A regular stop for me on a visit to Tunbridge Wells, first time back since Covid. Good and swift service, the fruit scone was large and along with butter and jam truly delicious. Pot of tea enough for two cups, so points for that. Just across the road from the Station. Recommended

Went back there a couple of days ago for the first time in over seven years. Hasn’t changed in the staff being very polite & helpful, a relaxed atmosphere & the restaurant has the most delicious food on the menu. Will definitely be coming here more often - doesn’t have the brashness or impersonal feel many stores of this size often do. 👍🏼

This was the first time I've entered this department store. Goods in each department are nicely displayed and the staff are very polite and helpful. I went to buy a product for winter use. Surprisingly for springtime they did have a few products of the type I was seeking but unfortunately not in my size.

I went for the restaurant which was a delight. Would have given it 5 star if there had been WiFi!

Love this store. Expensive, actually very expensive but if you are a bargain hunter you can get some really good deals when they have sales. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

Got to love a good old fashioned department store like Hoopers.

Great store full of interesting products. Also has a nice clean cafe
