It's not amazing but it has some hardware basics. convenient if you don't want to drive to b&q

I won't be going back not after the last two times having to deal with incredibly rude, miserable and unhelpful staff. I was made to feel like my presence was a major inconvenience for them and the male at the till short changed me and then grabbed my purse out my hand to "prove his point" apparently 😳 I complained of course but still 6 weeks later have heard nothing back! Take your custom anywhere but here!

Homebase is located in the Linden Park Road estate together with Sainsburys, Lidl and the petrol station - ample car parking space! I find the opening times on weekdays very unfortunate as this means that for anyone working - it’s impossible to make it on a work day! Closing at 6pm is considerably early. The range of items and outdoor area is adequate but I’ve never really seen a willingness to help from any of the personnel working on the shop floor.

Fair selection of products although the size of the store has recently been reduced to accommodate a new supermarket next door. Some products quite disorganised in their presentation on the shelves (eg I needed drawer handles and these were in very random compartments which made selection difficult). Also some price labels in the plants section were not clear, presumably through weathering. Service was good though and staff were polite and helpful. Just a bit of attention to detail is lacking!

Only popped in to have a look but the store looked clean and inviting. Prices were mostly reasonable

This store never has what I need regardless of how basic, what they do have is frankly expensive compared to the likes of Wickes or Screwfix.

Still a good store, but not that big now that Lidel have half of the site, so limited selection.

Big store, a bit pricy compared to alternatives

Not a very big Homebase so a bit disappointed not to be able to find everything I wanted that I had seen on line.

We visited the store wanting paint and some handles for drawers. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The paint was mixed especially for us because it was an old, now not offered, colour. There were not enough handles in stock BUT the manager offered to collect them from stores who did have them. Big thanks to Sam, the manager, Andy the paint man and Shelly who helped and checked us out(!). Excellent service.

I would highly recommend Homebase for their excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff. They truly care about their customers and are willing to go above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction. I will definitely be returning for my future home improvement needs!

I ordered a kitchen from them which once we started to have fitted have noticed there are faults. They are unable to provide new panels quickly as they say they have none in stock, which seems odd as they are a very standard item! So we have to wait for new order and delivery. Pay for builder to return and fit replacements. They asked why I didn't check items in boxes but as you can imagine there are so many and in a small cottage it's impossible to get everything out. Why should I have to check items and ve questioned why I haven't? Obviously your quality is to be questioned. Not happy at all. Let's hope there are no more issues and it at least looks nice!

Trolleys trolleys trolleys, I live near homebase Tunbridge Wells. I've complained about the trolleys around the local area ,it's a joke ,there is around fifteen plus , when I complained the reply I got was, it's not are fault people keep taking them we will try and get them at some point. Not good enough your store has no respect for the environment.

Only visit here to save me the hassle of the industrial estate. Uninspiring. I always check Lidl first in case they have something that will do the job.

There are steam trains next door. Yes. Stream trains. Did I say there are STEAM TRAINS!!!! Screw Homebase, stand in the car park and watch the steam trains. To be fair they did have cup hooks I was after.

9am really ? As a trades person I cannot believe this store doesn’t open earlier than 9am, especially when the other stores around them open earlier. They must be losing clients. Also store is confused, not enough commitment to what it wants to be. You find a poor selection of pretty much every product range. It only two stars as it’s handy being this side of town when all the better shops are the other side and quite a drive.

Good range of pots, plants and gardening accessories. Outdoor plants looked really healthy and well cared for.

I went there for a wood glue and another time for a metal glue. Happy with the products, happy with customer service. Unrushed experience.

I have been using this place for years now and every time that I have gone there the service that I have recieved has allway,s been good. The last visit I made there the particular item that I wanted was not on the shelf so I enquiered at the customer service desk and the young lady that was there was more than helpfull in checking the stock for me online and when she discovered thst not only were they out of stock of the item that I was after but also other branches were out of stock she was more than apologetic and recomended thatI order it online from them which I did as soon as I got home. The next day it arrived very pleased with the service all round.

Small shop with limited stock on display, the convenience selections of fixings etc appears overpriced.

Stock is awful since they down sized. Tried to buy a simple radiator valve - none on display or available in their warehouse. It's like a cornershop, not a superstore.
