We went on Paella night, Thursdays, and luckily had prebooked as it was very popular. Starters was a favourite pick, baked camembert to share, very good but filling. We both chose the Paella meat option but probably should have had a seafood just to compare. All very tasty 😋

Have had drinks here many times and it has a nice atmosphere. Never eaten until last night, a Tuesday evening in a fourball so probably not at their best Sat in garden under the shelter, table top very sticky after manager asked for it to be cleaned. Duly wiped down but still sticky. Gents toilet a bit tired and could do with a good clean. Staff came over to take our order and to be fair we we chatting so ordered drinks which came promptly. Left alone for about 20mins until we called staff over to order food. Again food was also delivered promptly but we had to ask for plates and cutlery, which were brought immediately. It seemed every next item needed us to go and engage with staff. May have been short staffed, I don't know. Food in general was ok, mackerel salad really tasty, crab salad with sweet corn as a filler, bit odd for me. Mushrooms a little bit bland for me too. Potato Bravas were ok, as we're meatballs, chicken a bit dry, chorizo, prawns were good. Vegetarian gratin we had is as forgettable as it's name, which I forgot! Would go back for drinks but would think twice before eating there again.

Me and my family visited The Townhouse on 27/08/22. We went there with the intention of celebrating my sisters recent achievements. We arrived and were greeted and sat by a lovely young gentleman at a nice table, however the two girls that ‘served’ our table the rest of the night were a different story. They were both icy cold, and clearly couldn’t really have cared less, it seemed as though it was nothing more than a chore to them. The four of us felt whole heartedly that we should have walked out from the moment our water was slammed on the table. We decided we would not return even though the food was good, purely down to the really poor and unsatisfactory service we received. It turned what should have been a celebration into more of a sour evening for us. Needless to say the %10 service charge added salt to the wound, and was not something we wanted to pay.

Great bar, cocktails and tapas. Lovely staff. Just a drink tonight after a delicious burger at Marlowes across the road. Would highly recommend.

So let me say that the staff, bar persons, service and venue are all lovely. My issue was only with the food - I know good Tapas, as I’ve had two homes and a restaurant in Spain and this is not authentic Tapas. Patatas Bravas- roast potatoes cooked and served with what basically was a ‘ketchup’. - Albondigas - The meatballs were bland & served with a ‘salsa’ - Nachos ~ packet nachos served with a mince, avo dip and white cheese, flavourless. - Chicken bites (?) - dry, over cooked and flavourless too ~ Overall: No discernible Pimiento, no garlic, no saffron, or chilli etc a la authentic Tapas. 4/10, but that’s just my opinion. The chef is from Bulgaria not Spain, btw. I never burden staff with a complaint as it’s not their issue. As I said, they were all lovely. Clearly the owner is happy with their food. But I’d still go to Sopranos in the High St for tapas, it’s far more authentic.

Awesome venue - a mini Shoreditch House in Tunbridge Wells. Such accommodating staff, excellent service and a great back bar and awesome selection of cocktails. An absolute gem in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. Highly recommended.

I 've been going to the Town House since they opened. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere, polite a attentive staff, good food and excellent garden area. I thoroughly recommend it. NA.

Drinks only! Busy bar in the heart of town. Seemed to be a good atmosphere. Unfortunately, service was very slow and if you accepted the offer of them bringing drinks to your table, they got forgotten. Disappointed 😞

Awesome venue. We held my 40th there in the upstairs area, which was such a fanatically decorated area. The staff were so friendly and the food was great! Would definitely recommend!!

Just love The Townhouse - the food is delicious, the staff are welcoming and friendly and the environment is beautiful. What's not to like! We'll be back soon!

Had a surprise party for my other half at La Bodenga. It was the perfect evening. The food was incredible and Petya the manager couldn't have been more helpful.

The bar was okay. Can only speak on on having coffee and beer. Was a nice warm day. We sat out the front. Wasn't too noisy or busy for a Saturday afternoon. The girls working didn't seem the happiest for whatever reason, beer was fine. We ordered 4 of the same coffees however each came out slightly different and seemed quite weak. Will probably try another day and will give the tapas a go also.

Have just been out looking for an italian restaurant, but all seem to have been closed on Monday, so tried here, and what a gem. My wife and I had a number of tapas and a bottle of wire, which were fantastic, meat balls, spicey potatos, chicken with garlic mayo, mushrooms. What great food, service was perfect by both staff members as was the attitude. A lovely restaurant that we stumbled across, thanks for a great meal and evening.

Brilliant front of house manager, smiling and pleased to have us. This lively happy feeling was with all the staff. The cocktails were good, slight error with the first margaritas but we all laughed off the problem and had a second round which was perfect. The Mediterranean board and a few tapas dishes were all perfect. If we lived closer we would go back many times.

Dropped in without booking after having dinner elsewhere and were glad to be found a table and seats were brought in for my brother, sis in law and myself. The wine I chose was lovely and we had a pleasant round off to our evening out. Nice atmosphere and staff friendly and attentive.

5 stars from us! Food was delicious! Lovely place and very thoughtful staff. We went there for a little celebration on my husband’s birthday, the place was very cosy and welcoming, we loved all the dishes that we ordered, the staff were very nice and friendly, they went extra mile to make their customers happy, we will definitely come back and visit again! :)

Been a couple of times and do love, went on a Tuesday night so was quiet but the staff were attentive and friendly. The menu suggests 2-3 dishes of tapas per person but honestly between the 2 of us we barely managed 3 dishes cause they are good sizes.... as well as being delicious. Music was a little loud and the seating is a bit awkward indoors, but the outdoors area is gorgeous.

Loved the atmosphere of this small but stylish bar and restaurant. There's also an outdoor section for the warmer weather. The sharing plates are amazing.

Nice place to grab a drink and view to eat with vibrant atmosphere...
