A lovely surprise. Recently opened authentic Turkish restaurant definitely delivers on its promise. Each dish took us back to our time in Istanbul: fresh ingredients, very good range on the menu, friendly staff, good kitchen and an owner who is taking things seriously. Highly recommend it. The best Turkish restaurant in Tunbridge wells. The food always taste so delicious and fresh. A bit more expensive than your usual kebab but so much better. The meat dishes come with rice and a real tasty salad. Delicious Good staff.

Our first visit to the newly refurbished Konak and we received a warm welcome when we arrived. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. The food was exceptional and such great value for money. The new decor looks great and creates a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back to try again.

First time eating here and was very impressed. Delicious and authentic Turkish cuisine, can not fault any of the dishes we had! Staff were polite and attentive. We don't live in the area but we will definitely be making a special trip to return here

Went for lunch for my wife's birthday. Great experience - food was excellent - fresh and beautifully cooked and immaculate service from the staff - friendly and very professional.

Group of 8 of us went there for my friends birthday. Started looking at menus and ordered a drink each. We were then offered a deal for which would ensure we get a ‘better value for money’ meal. At this point I was expecting to pay less than the menu price and we accepted. After eating 3 shared starters and 3 mains we got the bill and it came to over double the price. Not happy!

Again, at Konak restaurant i have enjoyed a great evening , i’ve tasted new meals, our bartender created some amazing cocktails you can ask him to do whatever you wish to drinks , waiters are friendly and professional as usual, is a very small team and doing like 300. Keep going well !

We came here on a Tuesday evening and busy restaurant! But we had such an amazing time! We've never really had Turkish food before but we loved it and there was so much food! We had a hot mixed starter to share and then both had a Kofte each, the lamb was amazing! Also the staff we really friendly. We will definitely be back soon

Went to this restaurant on Saturday evening the decoration is incredible and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant was full so we had to wait half an hour to get a table should of booked really but the barman looked after us with a few different cocktails while we waited and then we got our table. The meze was delicious and very fresh. We had mix grill for main and the meat was cooked to perfection and was very succulent tasted amazing. Staff were great cant reccomend this restaurant enough have to try it best in town by far.

I have now been to this restaurant 6 times over the last few months, it has become my favourite place to go for consistently good food. Service is fantastic, as I finished my drink another arrived. My wife didn't like one of the dishes, it was replaced with something else within seconds at no extra charge. It's lovely going to a local, non-chain restaurant and seeing the same faces each time for a warm welcome. Also, I'm 6"3 and always find restaurant chairs a tad uncomfy, except here, all the chairs are comfy and all different to make a lovely atmosphere. Have the mixed grill, it's amazing. Also I think they make their own bread, it's so nice, almost glazed, warm with hummus is so good!
