Nice walk with basketball court and a cafe with decent prices, a big play area with swings etc . Lots of areas to just sit in the sun and have picnics as well.

The playground is for small kids only, and there is probably a broken pipe somewhere around it, as there are usually water puddles by one of the gates. The experience would be better if that was fixed. There is a nice cafe next to it, with activities for the kids and the lady who runs it also runs some activities around the playground (like finding all animal pictures), which the kids love. But if you have older kids (older than 8 I would say), better try to find a bigger/more varied playground.

Good local park

Not a huge place but really nice for a stroll around and for the kids to play. A nice kids play park with an excellent little cafe. Toastie and salad. Great place to meet up and not far from the high street/shops. Helps that the sun is out. Well worth a visit and ill definitely come back 👍

Great new playground. Children loved the water pump and little houses. Toilets other side of the park but plenty of trees nearby!

Gorgeous in the sunshine. Various areas for different recreations such as tennis, children's playgrounds, lawns to picnic, and exercise park. We brought our badminton kit and had a great afternoon.

A great experience for the kids and quite enjoyable for the adults. The sand pit is the largest I've ever seen and with the water gets a little messy - take spare clothes if you can

Great little park, slides, sand pits, climbing frames and some seating. Fabulous water play section, so bring spare clothes if you little ones are splashers!

Magical little place with very well constructed play structures and brilliant water feature. Don't go on the spring pads! Really excellent little cafe that is friendly and ideal distraction to looking after the kids.

It's a great playground for young children to enjoy and to get a fresh air. There's a nice café within the playground for refreshments for grown-ups and children as well.

The new planting for spring 2023 has improved the sight lines so you can easily keep an eye on your child. Shame the water is switched off, presumably because of the hose ban. But our children aged between two and 12 had a good time nonetheless.

Perfect place for a sunny spring afternoon.

I don't have young children but they look like they're having fun. Cafe. No dogs allowed.

Envious that I'm too old to be hanging out on the kids park, but I wish it had been there when I was younger as it looks a whole world better than what used to be there.
