I Cannot believe how unhelpful these people are. I've called a million times to find out the wareabouts or progress of my passport, neither the people in London or the people in Trinidad have any information to give me. They have had my passport for 3 months. I've called the passport office in Trinidad over 60 times and not once did they answer; I had to get a family member to go in there and talk to someone on my behalf. And over here they're not that different, I was lucky the few times they decided to answer or if the passport division was actually available.

I always say I'm so very proud to be a Trinidadian but my experience when phoning the Trinidad High Commission sometimes changes that statement. I can't believe you are calling to get information and no one actually bothers to pick up the phone. Especially in immigration department. Excuses are always short staff or busy. I have never been there and see any queues or even as much as 5 people at one given time. I really want to know what they are getting paid to do. When you get there you are most probably going to get sent back because not enough information is given to you prior to coming with any documents. So unprofessional and rude some of the staff there. You can phone any other Embassy or High Commission and won't be on the line for ages with no answer. I would love to speak with whosoever is in authority to ask them what kind of service is this for us Trinidadians or furthermore customers. For those of you who had a great service well hats off to you, but I'm positive if you do a survey and ask how many people had a poor service you'd be amazed to see how much. Please Trinidad and Tobago High Commission get your acts together and represent our country with more class than this and Professionalism.

Terrible with answering the phones, they NEVER answer the phone. We are not in Trinidad!! A few of the female staff are rude!! If i knew their names, or else I would be stating their names on here. There is a guy, who is pleasant, when he is there the phone does gets answered. Don't know where he has been in the last three months. Learn to answer the phone. Besides them not answering the phones, it is quick and no waiting around. So don't see why they CANNOT answer the phone!

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews that people left. I had the most professional and efficient service. The Staff was knowledgeable and understanding. I went for passport renewal. I was attended to immediately. I didn't have the exact amount of cash but the staff tried their best to accommodate me nonetheless. Before attending I communicated via email to them as I was coming from another country for renewal amd their response to the emails was so timely. I am very impressed. Thank you so much for your help and professionalism.

Well, what can I say, I've been trying to chase my passport, I renewed on the 4th June, the guy who took the application all but said he didn't want to be on work. Now, I'm trying to call and no one is answering the phone. They initially said it would take 4-6 weeks the said it could take up to 8 weeks. I got a family member to contact Trinidad and they're saying I should have received it by now. The one consistent thing is the lack of professionalism and customer service. They behave the same as they would in Trinidad. It would be better if they had non nationals working there.

My husband needed to get a new passport and although he had not made an appointment, because we had traveled 3 hrs into London to have this done, the lady dealing with passports put through his application. From what I've heard (and seen), it's MUCH easier to get your passport in London than to get it in Trinidad. There were no lines, no waiting around, quick, friendly service. VERY PROUD of my country and it's friendly people.

I visited the Trinidad and Tobago High Comission and was pleasantly welcomed, by Hannah who was very helpful. She assisted in speaking to the supervisor who also assisted my son in completing the passport application form. Very impressed with the service and wish to congratulate Sherwin and his staff to keep up the good quality work.

My Trinidadian passport was stolen six months ago and I've been trying to report it stolen ever since. They still won't let me report it stolen, so I'm trapped in limbo. If I weren't a dual-citizen, I'd be in a very tricky spot.

Very poor service over the phone.Unpleasant, disrespectfull, unhelpfull and rude. What kind of country can't contact their homeoffice to ask for information regarding requested documents.Useless and arrogant. No option to escalate the problem but also no option to help you solve it.They ruined my wedding, and with all her arrogance the lady named Anethe told me that I probably can wait even one year for this document with threatening voice despite they know our wedding is less than a month!Shame of you!In 21st century this is the service we get from Trinidad and Tobago embassy!Shame!!!!

Today it was a great experience. All the staff were friendly. There needs to be baby change facilities especially as children are required to attend in person for first time passports. All good otherwise.

I emailed the commission on the advice of the pleasant male who answered. Sorry I didn’t ask for your name. I had two calls from the most helpful Michelle Charles. She made me feel so at ease. Gave me all the information I needed and assisted me tremendously. Michelle you a star! You know about customer service. What a positive experience.
