I have to say on visiting this store I was disappointed as I had read the reviews which in general sound very good. As noted by another reviewer I saw quite a few dead or diseased fish. The general husbandry or care at the store seems to be lacking somewhat. There was dirty water, display units from the 1980s, and even staining present in one of the aquariums where a fish's body had decomposed. The Betta fish display was dirty and the fish looked in general in poor condition bar a few recent arrivals. Pricing was about the average for other aquatics centres. The variety of fish on offer was nothing to write home about.

Theses guys know there stuff and friendly and have help us with every question and problem with setting up our first tropical tank the shop and fish are well looked after and good prices too well worth a visit and once you have you will be hooked and wont go anywhere else... 5 stars 🙂🙂🙂

Superb store selling a huge variety of frozen fish and seafood as well as frozen vegetables, burgers, kebabs and dry goods. Decent prices, very good quality products, friendly and fast service. It's always a pleasure to shop here. Free parking is available in surrounding side streets, in some cases up to 2 hours in weekdays.

Took my 3 boys to buy the missing equipment to start our aquarium and we where very happy with there costumer service the gentleman man was very kind and gave us lots of advice about our tank and fishes my boys loved this clean and friendly place I would definitely recommend this place and will be back for the fish

The Woodford team are the only place I trust for my tropical fish tank. They supplied the large custom tank, fish and connected me with a maintenance service. The staff are always friendly and have so much knowledge. Highly recommend.

Disappointing. Came away without buying any fish as spotted several diseased fish in the tanks I was interested in. Used to come here a lot many years ago and they were always healthy if slightly more expensive. Very disappointed that their standards have slipped

Nice place with different variety of fish. Staff are helpful and friendly too. Any hay fever suffers. You can also get local honey from there. Good price and good quality Apparently local honey helps with hay fever 😊

Even after 3 years of our last visit, we was still remembered, they re homed 4 of my turtles and 5 fish, provided me with a credit note which I lost, yet they still happily assisted us, I can honestly say these guys here are amazing!!! I no longer live locally to them but I will always travel the distance to purchase all pets and equipment from these guys, please if you want to find somewhere to go to get great service and a genuine purchase this is your place!!! I used to go to a place in Manor Park and realised after going there for 3 years I should have done my research and found this Woodford aquatics sooner, plus it was closer, lively and lovey aquatic centre with knowledgeable staff and the manager is so friendly. can't wait to pop down again and purchase more.
