One stop destination for all sports around Croydon but some sports like cricket may not have all items but all in all a good shopping experience. Some staff are really good while some aren't. Plenty of parking available

Picked up a bike today. First time in my life the bike was perfectly assembled! No faults. I have bought bikes from expensive retailers and their skills were always questionable, but not here. Thank you Yony, you are great bike mechanic!

I took my bike to repair here today the service was great from a guy named David. Really professional and went to check everything and explain what he was doing. Really really professional and very passionate about his work. It's nice to meet people who are passionate about their work.

Really helpful, friendly staff, who were great at helping us find the items we needed. We were also surprised to discover that they are dog friendly, and happily welcomed our mutt into the store - was very surprised, as I was fully prepared to stand outside with him! Thank you, Decathlon Croydon!

Visited 28.07.22 to get my bike serviced, apparently the waiting time is days long, no booking system in place. However the member of staff was professional and when asked, he advised on the right parts I needed. I'll service the bike myself. Prices sort of ok. No fuss.

Large building but not a great selection of stock compared to the website. No staff to talk to, had to ask security guard for help but they didn't have what my daughter required or what I wanted. All tills are 'self use' which means you are basically doing unpaid labour for the company. Better selection and better prices on Ebay.

Why are you cashless? Why have you bought into this ridiculous notion that cash is of no use anymore. Spent 1/2 an hour filling a basket of stuff I wanted, went to pay only to be told you don't take cash and sneered at like something youd scrape off your shoe.What a waste of my time.

Great range of stock in this store and with a good range of prices to suit most people too. Changing rooms generally stink and can be a bit snug, the ones with solid doors are far better than those with curtains as the changing rooms open out directly onto the shop floor. Staff helpful when asked but not pushy at all.

Was happy ordering bike from purley way and told to collect from Wandsworth in an hour time. But when we reached Wandsworth the bike wasn't ready. And they told us it may not be ready today which is not we have been told when we ordered at purleyway. Disappointed 😞 we spent an hour travelling to get the bike but they don't seem to keep up their words

Brandon was very helpful. He helped us for almost an hour to do all of our Duke of Edinburgh shopping!! He made suggestions / recommendations for products too, which was very helpful. He knew his products very well. Very friendly, polite and professional. If you need help, definitely ask for Brandon! I will be using him for future shopping!

I recently went in store for the first time looking for some things i can use to stay active this summer. I have never been a sporty person so I entered a little nervous and confused on what to look for. Karim approached me and instantly created a very friendly atmosphere, taking his time to explain and help me find the things i need to start swimming. This encounter gave me the confidence and knowledge i needed. He also encouraged me to get a tennis racket so i can start playing with friends, which i really look forward to doing. Overall pleasant experience, i will certainly be returning to the store with any future questions the team could help me with to expand my exploration of sports and fitness. I recently bought a mountain bike from Decathlon Croydon branch. Customer service officer Davide was simply amazing! He was very helpful, patient, efficient, and professional. Decathlon should be lucky to have such a great emplyee!

Excellent service. ‘Italian Thomas’ went the extra mile - when the ping pong table I had pre ordered didn’t fit into my car he found me a local taxi company - without his help my kids would not have had such a fun weekend - couldn’t have been more helpful.

I took the time to do a review for this awesome lady called Paula who did her best to keep the line in order and with a smile, i would say she had the perfect costumer service a customer could ask. I was already having a bad day but the this employee was being so nice and helpful which made me day better. There should be more employees like her around.

It is a good shop to buy your outdoor equipments and outfit. I was slightly disappointed that I had ordered and paid for an item online to be collected later on during the day only to be told that my order was cancelled because they found out that the item was out of stock later on. Items sometimes are much reasonable compared to other outdoor shops.

Love Decathlon. Great location. Loads of parking, although I walk there. Always clean and well stocked. Excellent prices and great quality. I always find the staff lovely too.

Paula was really helpful at the cashier today, she explained me the process in case I want refund and warranty of the items I bought.

1 star because I have to call them about my Click and Collect order and after trying a total of 12 times over the course of today, I had no answer. My order better be there tomorrow. Unnecessary stress.

Great selection of sporting equipment and clothing in wide range of sizes. Staff knowledgeable and keen to assist if required. Checkout is a novel automatic system where your items are placed in a container and are scanned and automatically added. Very fast and seamless. Plus of course the usual good value on their prices!

This time around (usually give the store 5 stars) the Croydon shop seemed low on stock. The three things we went there for not available. I guess end of camping season. Never mind, we will be back!

Huge Huge Thanks to Daniela on the floor!!! I went to your Purley branch yesterday to buy some equipment got some and needed a punching Bag stand. There was an oriental looking male staff member (Hector) who was very very unhelpful he asked me to order online. He was very rude and disconnected. Because I am never at home I wanted to order the stand through the tills and collect it from your shop. Today I went to the same shop again. Hector was again unhelpful. I spoke to Daniela. Daniela Was just a breath of fresh air. She went into your system and despite of the system saying the stands were out of stock, taking to consideration that one of her broken arms were in a sling she just did not give up in looking for the stand for me and found out that there was one in store in your stock room. You need more people like Daniela on the shop floor. Also she signed me up for the Decathlon card. It is a blessing to meet people like Daniela up front and being so friendly, professional, up beat and energetic specially after Brexit and Lock down. Specially after lock down it seems like customer service and the customer journey has gone off the window. Please be kind enough to tell Daniela I thanked her again and again for making my day so productive. Please consider teaching Hector some manners. I wanted to give you a one star rating yesterday because of Hector. But Daniela changed my mind. Thank you Decathlon Yohann

Hassle free. Lots of space. Magic tills

We went here Saturday. Products at a reasonable price. Security sucks though. He sits by the door, watches you scan 2 bottles of water and then when you leave asks to see receipt. You poor chap before us had to empty all his bag so security could check, but he was the only person at the self serve till and security watched him pack the bag. Don't think we'll be back , maybe lakeside might be better.

I was hoping to see crosstrainers and treadmills on display. Could not find the size I needes for my little ones swimming costumes. But otherwise it has a good range if stuff and reasonable pricing.

They don’t accept cash AT ALL. As long as this stands I won’t be shopping there. Not one member of staff at a til, only cashless self service. £100 of items got left at the self service tills today because of it. Cash is legal tender decathlon.

Found what I wanted straight away, customer service was goood and the store was not over crowded. Happy customer.

Purchased my Second Rockrider bike for myself on 4th November 2022 and also repaired puncture on my son's bike good job only thing the bike mechanic lost my receipt which is a bit unprofessional other than that all good.

Visited in the middle of the day so the place was very quiet. Staff were very helpful for a click & collect as well as an in-store purchase. Place is also way better stocked and cleaner compared to some other decathlons I've been to
