Still outstandingly beautiful It's a fine place for dipping etc. It's a bit light on public conveniences though if the shops are open you can usually go there but it can be a bit of a walk, talking of walks if you are aware of the tides you can follow the water out there is even a ship wreck out there but take advice from the coast guard and locals (Fishermen) before venturing out you can get cut off on the incoming tide, our tides take the water out 2 MILES its like being in a desert 🏜 the Mersey is the fourth most tidal river in the world so SAFETY IS A MUST have a great time and be safe plan to be coming back at least 1 hour before low tide

Arrived in New Brighton, had fish and chips which were cooked to order , what a total delight , reasonably priced and plentiful , we then went on beach for walk , beach practically empty , dog and friend enjoyed a paddle in water, think friend enjoyed more than dog , explored the rock pools near the lighthouse then made our way back to car , ,another place which we will come back too in coming months

Great beach with lots of stuff close by. Take a picnic and then go for ice-cream. The sea was surprisingly warm, and clean too. Also life guards are on duty which is also good.

Great place to take younger children as it's very compact. Beach, Funfair, Arcade and chippy all next to one another. There's also a good Morrisons supermarket, Hungry Horse and Burger king close by. Parking is free along the front on each side of the road.

One of the best place in Wirral and worth visit. A beautiful place for walks and sports. When the sea level is low, you can walk far along the beach, but always find out when the water level rises again. There are plenty of activities for adults and children, as well as plenty of cafes and refreshments. Everywhere is parking for free.

Cold and misty day, tide was in, not a lot of people about, plenty of free parking, nice day to sit and soak it all up and be glad to be alive, it's a great place that changes day to day

New Brighton Beach is a charming seaside destination that offers a mix of natural and historical attractions. The sandy beach is perfect for a leisurely stroll or sunbathing, while the iconic lighthouse and fort provide a glimpse into the area's rich maritime history. The lighthouse, which was built in 1830, is a prominent landmark that can be seen from miles away. It's an impressive structure that has stood the test of time and is a must-see attraction for visitors to New Brighton Beach. The fort, which dates back to the 19th century, is another fascinating historical site that offers a glimpse into the area's military past. It's a great spot for history buffs who want to learn more about the region's rich history. Overall, New Brighton Beach is a great place to spend a relaxing day by the sea while also taking in some fascinating historical landmarks.

Lovely place to visit, lots to see and do there. Free parking also. Beach and promenade is nice. Some excellent and reasonable restaurants. The mini fair and arcade is worth a try too. Also nice at night when the waterfront is lit up.

Nice place for a walk. well- developed pathways, can take prams easily. Huge car park with free parking and plenty of other on road parking space for blur badge holders. Can walk to either side from there. Lots of eateries around too.

Lovely beach deserving of 5 stars and my son had a blast however when we got home we noticed our flip flops stank of sewage!!! They had to be soaked and washed, I then did some research and was shocked how much raw sewage united utilities pumps into the sea there!!! I am completely shocked how is this legal its a health hazard and completely disgusting. Would love to come back but will wait until sewage stops being pumped onto the beach, what a travesty. πŸ˜”

Lots of FREE car parking around, much appreciated these days. Grandchildren had a great time here. The beach isn't huge, (particularly at high tide), but it wasn't crowded, so playing on the sand was fun. There are also other things to do close by, crabbing in the harbour, a fort to explore and the usual seaside type shops & small fun fair.

Best place to visit in liverpool. You can see the entire harbour view from the beach and the windmill as well.

There are much nicer beaches near by like Wallasey, Formby and Crosby. Fairly small, and so crowded, area of sand, quite built up so not as pretty as the wilder beaches. Free parking within a couple of minutes walk of the sand though so good for those who can't walk too far. Plenty of shops and arcades along the front.

First time I have visited New Brighton. The beaches were lovely, clean and safe. Both beaches had RNLI crew watching and patrolling when I visited ( a Saturday afternoon). I parked at the top end and walked into the centre about a mile away. The promenade was quite wide with enough space for walkers and cyclists.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Good beach but loads of jelly fish. The Black Pearl was disintegrated, only a few pieces of wood around. But defiantly worth a visit as the light house isn't to far from it. Kids loved it...
