I couldn’t be happier being a patient at this surgery. I would like to mention Chris who is always a real gentleman and goes out of his way to help in anyway he can, he’s always cheerful and has a smile for everyone. The whole team, from the reception, admin nurses, Clinician and Doctors have all been excellent over the years I’ve been with the surgery. You can feel that they all enjoy working together and should be really proud of the service they are providing in such trying times.

I just had to leave my 5 star review for one member of staff . Sam ! She is such a massive asset to the practice . Such a lovely person to deal with , approachable and always with a smile . She is always patient and kind, having blood taken is never an experience to be scared of when she is in the Practice . Been at this practice since a child and seen many changes over the years Sam is like a breath of fresh air every time . Well done and thank you .

I had a bloods app this morning with Sam. Despite being notoriously difficult to take blood from, Sam was extremely patient, caring and conscientious in taking a lot of blood from me. She has a lovely manner and made what can usually be an unpleasant experience much more bearable. Thank you Sam 😊

Today I had an appointment for bloods with nurse Sam. Despite my anxiety and a full and busy clinic she was simply wonderful. So calming, patient and understanding and an absolute asset to the team. I truly cannot fault this GP practice at all. The appointments are always prompt and the staff so patient and caring. I’m very lucky to have this as my local surgery.

An excellent GP Surgery with excellent employees from receptionists to repeat prescription detailers, The great nurses, The great area/condition specialists, And most importantly to the great Dr's, who've dealt with me (Dr Allan, Dr Shann, Dr Corrie) with everything from diagnosis to referrals, catch up appointments, etcetera, they listen & genuinely care, No problems or negativity from me, Plus there's a Boots Pharmacy right next door, that saves you hauling around, I can't ask for more, 5*

I was born in birkhead and my doctor was on the Woodchurch and still is.. . I have moved about on the wirral and the doctor I have got are probably the best .....because they try and look after you and help you but they care about the patient and the doctor who looked after me was the bloke called broadband nice person and a gentleman he had time to speak and explain the problem .. I told my sister who moved back up here and now she has joined them

I have had to use the surgery more than usual over the past 5 weeks and I can honestly say that they have been wonderful, Kirsty on reception has made life so easy and DrAllan has been fantastic, thank you so much for sorting me out and being so kind and patient!!

I have been a patient with the surgery for many years and it is very rare I can praise it. I have only stuck with them out of convenience and that fact I rarely go to the doctors. There have been one or two doctors/nurses in this surgery that are a credit and really care for their patients, the rest just could not care less, especially Gill. Fed up of the lack of availability of appointments, the poor time keeping, and the inconsiderateness towards patients. Will be glad to say I will no longer be a patient in this surgery.

SAM WAS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY SHE MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE WHEN SHE TOOK BLOOD AND WAS REALLY GENTLE HARDLY FELT A THING

Surgery very proactive, will phone or text you if need be, to arrange tests, appointment etc. Staff friendly and efficient. Today I saw the phlebotomist. She was very personable, friendly, efficient. Doing a good job. Put me at ease. I would not be worried to see her again.

Sam who does my bloods is a lovely person with a very pleasant manner and makes the whole experience so stress free and in my opinion is an asset to the surgery. The whole surgery staff in fact are really helpful and I can't fault this surgery.

Sam is such a welcoming and friendly person who puts you at ease and is so helpful anything is no problem to her and she is so efficient as well as good asset to the Team 👍

Samantha was so lovely and put me at ease. I am such a needlephobic and petrified of blood tests and she did everything she could to make sure I was calm. She was really caring and give great advice and support. I really appreciated it!

Medication issues from this practice..!! Emailed doctor many times....no reply!!!

Aweful . Waited allmost an hour past my appointment for the nurse clinician . No explanation or apology . And reception didnt care when i asked when i was going to get seen

I can not fault the Dr's here. Dr Shan and Dr Corrie have both been fantastic offering exceptional care, however this is let down by the poor clinical support team they have around them. Every time I make contact with the practice the front of house staff offer little to no advice or support. Everything is someone else's job and they honestly seem like they don't care. Coming from a clinical environment myself I understand people have their bad days and you can't help with every problem but I have received no help or support what so ever and always feel like I have to argue to get my point across.

My partner has just contacted the surgery on behalf of our 3year old daughter who has croupe.She suffers with this and it is on her medical records.The disgusting response from the reception staff demanding we book online before even allowing her to talk is appalling.Our WIFI is currently down and we get little to no signal at home for 4G which she would have known if she had given us chance to speak. I appreciate your busy but there is no need to be so blatantly rude. Your FOH staff represent your business.....do you really want it represented this way?.

Been with this surgery 70 years, don’t swap and change lightly, time to go…

All the GPS, except Dr corrie have left and its all locums. Needs regular GPS back cos I don't want to see a different doc everytime I need an appt. Considering changing surgeries. Website needs updating to say this as it still has Drs' shann, Allen and spencer as working there.

I am a new patient to this surgery and have only had 2 appointments. So far my experience is not great!!! My first appointment was moved to half an hour earlier as the nurse was of sick, yet I was still sitting there til later than my original appointment time?!? My appointment this morning was for 8:30. I still waited 20 minutes to be seen as the phlebotomist could not log on. I understand things go wrong, but it’s the attitude of the front desk staff that is the issue the do not represent the practice at its best!!! I know the nurses and doctors are lovely this is the only reason I’m staying with this practice.

My experience with the GP surgery has been terrible.

Absolute joke! Can't get an appointment ever! Non medically trained person decides that too!!! No alternative given or signposting. Prescription are never issued correctly or timely. Poor communication. Registered at at much better surgury now! Can get appointments and Prescriptions are issued with no delay!

Disgusting practice with NO patient care. We have only ever had problems with this GP surgery. Every single asthma review my partner has had arranged in the last two years has been cancelled for various ridiculous reasons. A wannabe GP on the desk named Karen took it upon herself to cancel my partners breast cancer scan last year for no reason at all without informing her so she went to the bottom of the list. And now my partner is suffering and very ill with something she is awaiting surgery for and for three days in a row has been turned away at 8am with “no appointments”. She is at her wits end which we have expressed to the staff but they refuse to help her! The sooner this GP closes down the better for everyone. We are hard working, tax paying people who rarely require support from GP and never, ever get it

I cannot fault the lovely advanced nurse Jill. Such a shame that the surgery booking is on line. Also such a shame that a male receptionist was abrupt and quite frankly rude.
