We went here as we are staying at the resort and were underwhelmed by the itallian resturunt. We ordered the fried rice, the stewed eggplant and the Singaporean squid. While the fried rice was edible the rest was DISGUSTING. The squid cost us $56 and tbh I would have paid $56 to have NOT eaten it. Absolutely foul, you could smell it before you saw it. It was like eating a small, very fishy, snow tire. The eggplant was described as “eggplant with pork mince” it should be described as “soy sauce prok mince with a few pieces of eggplant”. Way too much sousauce. Very oilly. WHO WANTS TO EAT A PLATE OF SOYSAUCE MINCE WHEN YOU ORDER EGGPLANT. The fried rice was the only thing we ate and even it was pale and stale. Absolutely not eating here again.

Average experience at this restaurant inside the Shangri-La. We didn’t have a reservation, and upon arrival, the host advised us to book next time—even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Service was quite slow. While drinks arrived promptly, it took about 30 minutes before anyone took our food order. We also noticed our main meal was mistakenly delivered to another table before being returned to us about 10 minutes later—without the jasmine rice we had ordered. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and apologetic when we left, and they removed the missing jasmine rice from the bill without issue. The food itself was tasty, but overall, the experience wasn’t great. We won’t be dining here again during our stay.

A necessary journey, just watch out for the potholes. We dined here twice. The first time was a solid 1 star performance, the second made us consider coming back for a third time. Stick to the basics, the Calamari is very good, so is the Kung Pao chicken and Long bean & Pork mince. As can be expected Asian food tends to be more oily, our Pad Thai took some liberties here. All in all the second time I was really happy, the service was really good and save for some oily Pad Thai and average dumplings, the rest were very delicious. Now… avoid the specialty “pick your seafood from the cabinet” menu. This is a rort. On our first night we ordered sweet and sour pan fried fish (which I picked from the cabinet) and buttermilk prawns. After terribly slow service only the $85 fish arrived, we had to pick through the bones to feed ourselves. We ordered the broccoli and mushroom veg dish as a side, but alas no mushroom. We had the calamari and satay skewers for appetisers (calamari = 😋; satay skewers=😬). To be fair, we arrived as a dozen baby boomers were grappling with the concept of share plates. The staff were not equiped to deal with the tax that that group levied that evening. It bankrupted service and unfortunately, as has been the case of millennials the world over, we suffered yet again at the altar of boomer hubris. We’re glad we came back a second time and we would go again. The food is good 👍.

Delicious Chinese and southeast Asian dishes. We ordered minced pork and lettuce wrap, kungpao chicken, pork ribs. All the dishes were quite delicious. The pork ribs were a bit too salty, but the flavours of the minced pork and kungpao chicken were so point. The restaurant is a bit dated and needs a bit of renovation (especially the outdoor area). But it has a nice view of the beach and panaromic oceanscape.

The food here is amazing!! But the service is not that great, we ate here twice during our 7 day stay. Both times there was one thing or the other which service lacked. But the head chef there does a great job of food. And the views are amazing as you sit and dine on the deck, making the ambiance above par. You have to try their Kung-Pao Chicken!!

Food was yummy and tasted pretty authentic for Fiji during the evening, but much worse for lunch. Prices are a bit high, but this is probably pretty standard for a resort. That young children eat free is a great though.

Overall all experience is ok. Food is below average. We ordered lamb with cummin and pattaya fried rice, is really average, mainly paying for the view and service. Kids under 12 eat free with adult meal purchased. Portion is generous just not tasty.

Not a bad place to dine. Food is largely delicious, satisfying & enjoyable. Service is fantastic & friendly, although at times i felt they were understaffed. Fantastic views from the balcony make sunset dining great. The breakfast buffet is comprehensive with Asian slant, laksa, congee & dim sum. Plenty of food available and quickly refilled after being emptied by hungry diners. All in all, a great place to eat for all the family! The pad Thai, Singapore noodles & spring rolls were outstanding in our opinion.
