It's just turned March they're starting to get their garden furniture in which includes a range of prices to suit any budget. Some very reasonable prices for decent robust furniture. On another note, the store has a wide range of products including; a large range of hobby and artist materials, mirrors, paintings, cards, pets food and accessories, vases and ornaments. Kitchen utensils, kettles, toasters and microwaves all in matching modern fashionable colours. Lights, cushions, curtains and bedding and a small range of furniture. As well as DIY products ie. paint, wallpaper, brushes and some car maintenance products. There's also a small range of outdoor clothing and some beauty products near the checkout. I was disappointed with the range of plants and outside hardware such as; decking, paving stones and decorative flags, loose stones and gravel. Maybe it's a little too early in the year or they're reducing their range of stock 🤔

Doesn't have the same appeal now Iceland been put into the store. The store was quite cramped before Iceland took up space, it is even more so now. Also the Christmas section used to be wonderful, now it is dismissal. Also the store was freezing cold don't know how the staff could work in there.

Absolutely shocking! I use to love shopping here, not now! Everything is everywhere! staff are miserable as sin. Hardly any prices on anything. The shop needs a good clean. Hardly anyone wants to help. Once was a lovely organised shop to walk around but sadly those days are long gone….

Usually a great place for bargains and unique items, but this Xmas not much to offer. Always checkout this place throughout the year as it’s known for undercutting stores you probably haven’t even heard of. Top Tip of the day: You won’t get that information from a mystery shopper guys

Very bad customer service. I had inserted my card in to the card reader machine for a refund and the women behind the till flipped and started a big argument with me saying it was my fault I had put my card in to the machine when it should have gone back on to the phone. She just would not let it go I ended up walking out of the shop. It was my first and last shop at any of the range stores I've never shopped at and of the storrs nor heard of the rubbish brand. I will never go in to a range store again.

It was absolutely fabulous shopping experience. So much stock, with various items to choose from. The place is cast and has. A great variety of stock to choose from. This makes the decision hard but really makes you th3 what is out there. For you to make a decision from. I would deffinately recommend. This place to everyone.

Great selection and surprisingly good quality cheap home goods. Picture frames and furnishings in particular are really good. There is also an arts and crafts section, pet section and garden centre! Really like it here! Staff are really nice as well.

In Range Store Bolton They've all sort of quality house stuff for Interior & exterior Decoration: inside & outside paint, wallpapers, bed sheets, pillows, Lighting, DIY stuff, Inside and outside water fall features, more or less all utensils and electronics like toasters, microwave, iron etc etc. They also have outdoor garden accessories section (covered) and in that they also have pet section: pet food and accessories. They've quite a big section of Arts and crafts aswell. In the end you need atleast few hours to look around

Severely lacking in customer service. Won't take back product that wasn't as advertised. Rang the customer service number 5 times and was cut off, got through on the 6th time to be told they couldn't help me without me generating a complaint through their webpage. I have done as asked and received a email that I would receive a response within 4 days... We are on day 5. Bolton store very unhelpful and unwilling to do anything. I was even laughed at when I pointed out that by the nature of their response they were calling me a liar. Very disappointed and stuck with an expensive product that violates the consumer rights act as was not as advertised!

Turned up at 7:45pm to grab something I know that's in stock, would have been 5 minutes or less & the front door was locked & all the signs in the way of the entrance. There was at least 3 customers still shopping inside, so don't see why I wasn't allowed in. Not impressed as I rushed across from Bolton town centre to get there for nothing.

I bought a Christmas tree earlier this week. The assistants were very helpful. One man prepared my tree by sawing off a small section of the trunk off and took it to the till and another put it in my car for me.

Very busy today but still able to accommodate at the tills. This place is great to walk around. So much variety at good prices

Most thing's on shelves without a price tags which is really annoying, when there's no staff around to ask for help. Other than that it was a pleasant visit. Bedding and curtains way overpriced, you can buy them cheaper in Argos

I love going to the range. They sell everything from craft, stationery, cookware, garden plants to pet food and toys. My partner loves getting his DIY stuff from there, price is very reasonable

Posting again as I was lazy. Ample parking with disabled bays There are trolleys outside not sure if it's slot machine type as we didn't use the store itself is well stocked with almost everything for the home & hobbies garden stuff too.staff are very helpful if required not full stars as I would rather be in a pub pesky wife.

The products here are wide choice and you get a lot under 1 roof. Problems with ordering stuff begin when they have not got the stock in bulk. Wether you have it delivered to store or your home you have to pay !! Also try cancelling something and although they want money upfront when you order they don't pay out if you cancel you have to wait 5/7 days ??? So they can earn interest on your dosh. I will be very choosy in what I shop for here in future.

"If they haven't got it.... you don't probably don't need it!" I have never been to a Range and they didn't have what I went in for... Fabrics pens and fabric glitter glue.

A visit to the Range at Bolton is always a good experience. The staff are always happy to help if you need it. One important tip if you love browsing, be sure not to exceed the parking limit. Allow time to get through the check out and off the site. Otherwise you will get a ticket.

Great choice of home products, garden and pet supplies. Good pricing on most items. Car park adequate large but not enough disabled parking. Front of house tills could do better with a traditional structure. Friendly staff. Aisles a bit tight at times for wheelchairs.

The Range in Bolton is easy to get to with good parking. Had everything I needed and as usual things I didn’t know I needed. Great tall fan, and lovely lamp both at reasonable prices. Staff are pleasant and chatty

Not enough staff on the tills. I'm disabled with mobility issues & COPD. I went to a till where there was 1 cust. Then Told you need to go to the back of the queue (big queue) on the other side of the tills. The still staff were then calling people to each side of the tills & I ended up where I first started. WHY NOT HAVE 2 QUEUES. What a ridiculous setup

Walked past the customer service desk to pay and there was female staff looking at me going to the tills. Once I got to the tills there was no one serving so I shouted across to the customer service desk to ask is no one serving then to be told to walk across to the customer service desk to pay. At this point I was bit annoyed as this staff saw me walking past going to the tills so not sure why she couldn't say the tills were closed and she would serve me at the desk. Not just that there was no hi, thank you or bye..even as I was leaving i said bye no answer. Very rude and unprofessional service given by Jessica. I understand Range has alot of custom but manners and customer service does not cost to deliver. I feel some of the staff are very ignorant who are working here.

What's not to love about the range, a one stop shop. Only thing you can't buy is a full food shop, but they do have some great priced grocery items. Try the broken biscuit boxes they are a bargain and a treat.

A good range of goods available, Christmas items beautiful. Items of same goods scattered around store, made it a little tiring when you were looking for something specific. Great for a good mooch if you had the energy . Don't miss going there.

Good stock but when you spend £250 and get a delivery date for October only to get an email telling you that the date has changed to the 27 of December is not really acceptable, may not use them again

Waste of time. No one is helping. Quality not great. Better to get what you need from a more reliable specialised store.

  • 2/5 Dominic B. 1 year ago on Google
Untidy store, not very helpful staff that were quite insistent that items displayed on there website are not available in store. Lots of out of date foodstuffs on sale at the regular price point rather than at a reduced price

Looked a mess boxes everywhere piled up all over the aisles making navigating round with pram difficult ,aisles taped off just because they are trying to put xmas stuff out. Found it unorganized messy and cramped. Needless to say walked straight back out

Plenty of goods that were lovely wanted to buy them all lol , all at reasonable prices. All departments had an enormous amount of goods to choose from. Store very clean and presentable. I would definitely recommend a visit 😊

be carefully when buying something from here as the prices of the items are different from what they sell you at i picked something up as it was a good deal and when looking on my receipt they had charged double the price and when i went back the manager said there was nothing she could do waste of time

Just bought the milano Corner unit and chair, been all round the middlebrook industrial estate and found nothing as comfortable as this one and the service was absolutely great. Thank you.

Halloween display was pathetic! I take my son in there every year to pick a new decoration. Was no designated Isle just bibs and bobs on two or three shelves. Nothing like their usual effort. Staff are lovely and helpful at this branch and it is a great store. Well worth a visit just not for their Halloween stuff this year!

Absolutely disgusted how a toilet seat was put up on display for customers to look at and my 19th month old daughter was stood at the side of me when I lifted the lid to look at the seat thinking it was screwed to the racking properly, it fell off the display and smacked my daughters head leaving a red mark and her absolutely heart broken, and when a lady staff member that was currently working on DIY at the time saw her and didn’t even bother to ask if she was okay, won’t be shopping here again!!!!!

The shop itself is lovely - however at times, I have found the staff clueless. Having got that out of the way , my real ‘beef’ is with parking. I have often popped into the store for my craft stuff and in November decided on a Saturday afternoon, to do a lot of Christmas shopping there. I spent ages in time AND money buying craft items for myself and presents for those on my Christmas list - about 15 to 20 people in total . I have just had to pay another £100 to Parkingeye for the pleasure. I have now informed The Range that they have lost me as a customer. I shall take my hard earned money and spend it somewhere where they don’t charge for the time spent in the store. The lady whom I spoke to was pleasant enough but the conversation ended squarely in her favour with the words, “ I’ll have to go - I’ve got a queue. . . “ It’s alright to assume it’s all the fault of Parkingeye but there must have been some arrangement at some point. It’s a disgraceful, blatant, money making scam.
