Jamie and the team at WY Electrical looks after the power at Ascensor. We have a large building that requires a lot of maintenance and we can't have week-day downtime. Jamie and his team are flexible, working on weekends to maintain our systems, can't recommend them highly enough!

I’ve just bought an electric car and contacted this company again and they fitted me an electric wall charging unit at a very competitive price. They talked me through everything and how to use it. The electricians were extremely friendly and courteous. I’ve no problems recommending this family run company they are exceptionally good.

Home EV charger wasn't working & installer had gone bust - phoned up to get an engineer out to fix it, and Denon guided me through a reset of my the Matt E device that was attached to the charger. Very helpful & top service - would come back to this company for any other electrical related issue

These guys are amazing - Jamie was in constant contact whilst having difficulties getting technical support from GivEnergy, they had to come back a few times for troubleshooting but the issue was with the supplier and Jamie stayed on it until everything was completely sorted. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be using them again! The guys were all very knowledgeable and professional, excellent service from start to finish.

Simply excellent. In my experience there’s two types of certified electricians: those who love their job, take pride in what they do and do the right thing, every time; and those who have the certificate and are going to do the bare minimum. Jamie and the team at wye are definitely old school (on a good way) pride-in-their-work electricians. From the neatness of the wiring - even inside consumer units which no one will ever see - to the care and thought taken when running cables to minimise damage, they are simply first class. We contacted them on a recommendation for a solar install, and they handled everything, working with our roofers and being flexible around their progress too. Whilst they were here they also did electrical work on our new dormers which was impeccable. I’m not often impressed by electricians - my father in law was an electrical superintendent for a university who had very high standards - but the team has surpassed them. Whether it’s solar (and the seemingly endless admin that goes with that) or new install or remedial work I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them. 10/10. I like the way they treat and develop their employees too: all in all a cracking company.

We are a small Junior School and we had an EVC charger fitted in our car park. This is to allow staff who have electric cars be able to charge their vehicles during their working day. The work was carried out quickly, efficiently with no disruption to the school day. Jamie was a pleasure to work with and he is very intelligent in his field. The communication with the administration side of the busy was also clear, precise and everything went with ease. I have booked to have a second charger installed and would highly recommend this company if anybody is thinking of having an EVC fitted.

EV charger install with another RCD box install + wire upgrade. I had been speaking to a few different electricians and company's regarding an install and WYE were by far superior in taking the time to answer my (many) questions and concerns. They gave me a fair price and did the job a week later (most other company's were several weeks or a month + to wait). Jamie was especially great with answering all my initial issues and concerns I had been having with my house fuse/DNO and helped me with the options I had been pouring over. Guys that came were great and friendly, and sorted a few other things at the same time for me as well and were just in general really accomodating. Last but not least, got to give a shout out to Tara for taking my many calls! Will certainly be recommending and using for any/all my electrical needs going forward. Couldn't ask for better service.

Very prompt site survey for an EV home charger installation in a detached garage. Excellent advice provided followed by a competitive quote and good communications throughout.
