Original Roman walls on site where you still understand the location overlooking the river, and the hidden gem is the modern-antique underground shrine to Apollo and the Thracian Horseman

I’m sorry but not a whole lot to see here. You’d be better off visiting the main city museum only.

Small but a nice place to spend a little time, lovely views of the Danube from the area and from the modern reconstruction tower. We had the pleasure of a guided tour from a lovely and interesting archaeology student - thank you!

We had very good and surprising experience.Dayen, an archiolog we met there, gave us fantastic explanation about the explanations and the German bunker that is hosting archiologic items from Tarkanian times. About the discovery that people had no idea who built the bunker until an ex German soldier visited the place and told that he was stationed there in the headquarter of anti aircrafts unit.

(Translated by Google) The remains of the old Roman settlement are located next to the Danube. In antiquity, Sexaginta Prista was probably the most important Danube port for Rome for the Moesia region. There were housed about 60 ships that patrolled along the entire Moesia.

(Translated by Google) Interesting and unique place, but unfortunately most of the fort is located under the surrounding buildings!

(Translated by Google) A small but extremely interesting museum with many interesting exhibits, situated on a site with history and remnants of different ages and a beautiful garden overlooking the Danube. The staff is extremely erudite and with great pleasure and sentiment tells about the exhibits, the place where the museum is located, about Rousse as a city and about the whole Danube region. I would love to visit again !!!!

(Translated by Google) This place is a misunderstanding. Apart from the underground tunnel, there is literally nothing. Sorry, there are a dozen more stones for the cross and a boat - a joke. There are many more interesting places to see in the area. Stay away. (Original) To miejsce to nieporozumienie. Omijajcie z daleka.
