To be honest, I expected more from a 4☆ hotel in the center of Ruse. There is a disappointment with a parking, breakfast with stale, cheap products, an outdoor pool that you have to pay extra for, also an indoor pool with activities for children that do not hang a schedule at the entrance, the restaurant where the food is disgusting, the products are not fresh, and the dishes are not healthy. Everything is ancient or broken. The only thing that made me very happy was the Massage. Honestly, I did not dare to try any other SPA procedures ... The price does not match the quality!

Great hotel , very good food in the restaurant

The hotel is quite nice in general. However, some (or even most) of the services need some rethinking. E.g. guests must pay for the outside and indoor pools which, given the prices of the rooms for the area is a bit of a hassle and honestly a bit rude. Food can also be better. Lukewarm lunch meals and some items are not that good either. Maintenance work in the dining hall while guests are dining is a no-go as well. From an aesthetic and hygienic point of view the hotel is quite new and the rooms are generally clean with some minor exceptions. If you are staying at the hotel I recommend not dining in it and be prepared to pay extra for the usually empty pools.

I understand that options in Ruse are limited, but I promise any other accommodation will be better than Cosmopolitan. We booked a suite and it was 27 degrees Celsius in the room when we got there. The AC did not work well enough to cool the room the whole stay. We slept on couches next to the windows because the rest of the suite was too hot. We ordered wine from room service and it was never delivered. After an hour I went down to the bar and the “bartender”(who was wearing gym shorts and a t-shirt) gave me only the bottle of wine. I had to use the bar key on the bar to open it myself, as well and get wine glasses to take back to the room. The room was large and impressive, but filthy. The carpet had stains all over. The windows were covered in dirt and cobwebs. When we moved the couch to the windows we found it disgusting underneath. Breakfast was a joke. There were cold, runny eggs and hot dogs, which was the only “hot” option. The vegetables were dried out. The wifi was the only impressive thing about this hotel.

Excellent food, great service. Mussel in wine were really good even by French standard. Nice indoor and outdoor space.

Rooms were clean and tidy, bathroom was clean and had all conveniences, location is great. It was quiet, cars could be heard passing by, but very little. Couldn't visit the spa center so I don't have input there.

This was the ham at breakfast today... Make your own assumptions of the conditions they store food.

I ordered a specific massag, when I arrived and was ready they offered me to come tomorrow because what I ordered is not possible. Disgusting service

It’s total ridiculous. I have parked on one of “theirs parking places” and move on one theirs iparking pegs (when it’s was down ) and they claimed that it was broken. And the owner of the hotel was pushing me to pay for them a new one :))). Never I will come back in this place.

The atmosphere, the food and service was great! The rooms are very clean and very comfortable! I am very happy with everything and will be back again!

When you travel is a bit difficult to be away from home... The fact that the hotel is nice and clean, has a restaurant where you can have good food for dinner, employee are nice and polite make your travel easier

At first glance it looks nice and posh... But that's about it. Just like the plastic flowers, everything in the interior is fake and don't look as good as it should. But that's not all. Food is not good at all. Traditional Bulgarian "shopska"salad was made from green tomatoes with again plastic taste and bitter cucumbers. The main from the other side was served prompt but was including uncooked potatoes, chewy pork meat and horrible taste mushrooms. Gravy was ok but a bit watery. At the end, for desert we was surprised of the size of the cake that was huge and none of us managed to eat even half of it.

The best hotel in Ruse! Amazing Restaurant, modern gym, enormous Spa, indoor and rooftop pool, great hospitality and polite staff.

It was ok.. Stayed in a doubble room with two beds. The room wasn't thoroughly cleaned, dust here and there. The worst was that you could hear the guest next door talking very clearly in the middle of the night, badly isolated rooms (very bad). You could even hear the elevator arrive to the floor in the middle of the night, really disturbing. The best thing was the restaurant in connection to the hotel, Hacienda. However it's probably one of the best Hotels in Ruse.

All things considered, it is pretty a fair option. Close to any spot in the city, recommendable to mid-budget backpackers. Never fail to get a room with view and to have fun at the awesome pool, which was complimentary at the time of my visit. I recall there being no good bistros inside, so just try outside.

Based on previous reviews it seems me and my friends were at a different place. Unfortunately for us, we were exactly at Cosmopolitan hotel, Ruse. These are my impressions: Poor service, exceptionally unfriendly behaviour of staff and the owner (obviously one leads to another) and NO swimming pool available. The only reason we booked this particular hotel was because we planned to use the pool. There are much better places in Ruse but unfortunately with no pools. So, we booked this one though we’ve already had a bad experience with it (super cold rooms in the autumn). Now we suffered even worse. As I already mentioned the pool was not available shut down by authorities but no one has warned us although we’ve called twice and asked about it before arrival. This time the temperature in the rooms was around 40C and it was hard staying, imagine sleeping. To cut the long story short- this place is poorly managed, no attitude towards clients (we’ve booked 3 rooms) and I strongly recommend to be avoided.
