This lodge was amazing. The ambience, decor, staff, service and food was truly incredible. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Masai Mara. It is second to none. The food was really great and being Indian we loved the Indian food cooked by the special Indian chef Douglas. He made our experience truly special as did the other staff members who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Would definitely recommend staying in club tents as they are in better locations in the resort and make you feel a lot more secluded than other rooms. Can’t wait to come back here!

Amazing place to stay. Very comfortable. Staff is kind and friendliest. Clean and spacious rooms right in the middle of nature. Has a wide spread of cuisine and they taste great. Would recommend and love to stay again if I visit Masai Mara again!

Definitely the best place we stayed on our safari. Beautiful and clean and the hospitality is next level. Kai, the entertainment organizer is incredible!! He is so friendly and fun. Martin is also so kind. Food is great, pool and grounds are beautiful

An incredibly wonderful place. Personnel is extremely customer-oriented. Friendliness and smiles galore. Excellent food. My girlfriend is gluten and dairy intolerant. Each day cook Daisy prepared gluten-free and lactose-free food for her. Never experienced such dedication (and I'v been around;). Our guide Tony Sakura showed us great wildlife... By far the best place we've stayed at in Kenya.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation was top-notch: luxurious, adventurous and romantic. The staff was helpful and attentive. The buffet meals at the restaurant were outstanding. A special thank you to Kennedy making delicious Indian cuisine and a thank you to Damaris for always sharing her beautiful smile. Hope to be back at Sarova in the near future.

We had a great stay at the Sarova Mara Game Camp. Like other Sarova Hotels we've been at during our trip to Kenya, we experienced very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to Daisy at the restaurant, who greeted us by name every day, and explained the dishes at the buffet. Speaking of food: It was amazing. We also liked our deluxe tent very much. It was spacious, clean, and provided a complete bathroom. During the night, it was a very special experience to hear all the animals around. The Sarova Mara Game Camp is a very well located to go on game drives. The Masai Mara is a very unique place and has lots to offer. It feels, however, also a bit crowded. We had a fantastic time nevertheless, and we surely hope to go there again one day.

This was by far one of my favorite experiences. If I could give service a 10, I would. All and I mean ALL the staff was extraordinarily wonderful. We felt very welcomed and at home. But there is 2 special ones that went over and beyond. Special thanks to Daisy and Damaris from the catering team who were great. From making my infant home made special food to making sure he was well taken care of every moment they saw me. Nelson with the golf cart was super nice. Nicole at the front desk and all the managers on duty make sure everything went smoothly. The food was 5 star and they had amazing food every day. There is nothing to complain about with food here, which is not usual for hotels, but this one takes the win. I would recommend this camp 100%. It's my 3rd time in Mara and this is the best experience. I will definitely return.

Had a really great stay at Sarova Mara Camp. The Accommodation facilities are superb. And they have a Chef's organic farm where almost all veggies/fruits and herbs come from!

We had an unforgettable experience at Sarova. The resort is beautiful and luxurious, the warm food was delicious cooked with so much love and organic produce from the garden, the staff - I have no words, never have I felt so attached to a resort staff. They are just the best, they become your family. We loved chef Ken who always made sure our tummies are happy and Y. Dimaris, her smile just melted our hearts everytime, I couldn't get enough of her hugs. ☺️ They could work a bit on the to go meals for the game drive - a salad for lunch would be great instead of just pastry and fruits everyday, for breakfast or lunch or dinner. Overall an amazing experience!

My husband and myself had a great experience staying in this game camp. The rooms are great, the food is delicious. I have a lot to say about the food. The variety they put out for you is just amazing. I was skeptical if I would get vegetarian food and I was pleasantly surprised with the options of Indian/vegetarian food they displayed. After a whole day of game drive, when you go back to your room, you will find hot water bottle on the bed (these little touches go a long way) for which I was so grateful. The staff is so welcoming and so cordial that you would feel at home! Worth every penny you spend

Stayed for one night with family. Excellent location, not very far from the entrance to the park. Check-in was smooth, welcoming. Room. Tent was excellent, especially the bathroom. Hot water available. They run Diesel generators, So there is no power from 12 midnight to 5pm. Felt very safe. Excellent hospitality, the chef took private care of us and made dishes that were not on the menu to suit our children. For an early morning game drive they provided hot drinks and some snacks before going. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing in every aspect! Food was incredible and service was even better! And the location was close enough to hear and see all the animals. Highly recommend this location when planning your Kenyan safari tour. This is also the perfect place to go and visit the friendly locals within their village as they take you through a tour of their everyday lives. Adventure to remember!

We loved Sarova Mara Game Camp. The resort is very close to the gate and it is nice that after a long drive from Nairobi you don't have long off road. Out tent was very clean and comfortable We where very close to the main area. The food was very good and plentiful. My wife opted out of the all day game drive to take a spa day. When we got back she said it was one of the best spa treatments she has had. Her attendant was named Risper and she said she was the best. Another shout out to the chef named Daisey who made me an off menu Swahili dish just for me. Daisey was very nice. Highly recommend!

Sarova Mara is such a beautiful place to stay! Very friendly accommodating staff. Lots of rooms to stay so there is a 5 min walk to reception from most rooms. I didn't have a view from my room but there were plenty of areas to stop and see some animals. Would absolutely recommend if you stay in Masi

The service was average. The staff seem to lack enthusiasm somehow. The rooms were nice however need a little sprucing up. The fan kept touching the mosquito net and the noise level was a little too much. We tried several times to get assistance in vain. But I would definitely go back to Sarova! Its a great location and good food with good value for money.

We have always enjoyed staying at Sarova. It is close to the Eastern entrance. The welcome is great. The people are helpful and friendly. The food is good and the beds are very comfortable. There are more expensive places but if you are spending time there to see animals, you don’t need that. You need a nice bed and easy access to see the beautiful animals of God’s creation.

Sarova offers comfortable luxury tent accommodations on a nice wooded property with a small pool. The included meal program is adequate—there is a very broad diversity of food options (even some gluten free!) though none seem particularly high quality. It is also worth noting that power is shut off from 4-6 PM and again from 12-4 AM daily, though adjustments to this can be made upon request. Though there are a huge variety of beverages included at mealtime from the buffet, water is not one of them, and a 500ml bottle will set you back a whopping 400 shillings—something I wish they would address. For whatever it’s worth, rooms are replenished daily with 4 such bottles, included in your rate. It is also worth noting that, positioned just after Sekenani Gate, Sarova is in a very ideal location to access the park.

We had a brief but wonderful stay at Sarova Mara Game Camp. Excellent service from our hosts with a special shout out to Edwin and Daisy in the restaurant, Kai at the pool and Douglas at the bar. Warm friendly and attentive. Comfortable room and beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Echo what everyone else has said, an amazing place to stay! A big shout out to the female head chef who did everything to ensure that my vegan dietary requirements were met! A wonderful team of people. A great experience sleeping in a tent amongst nature.

I visited the camp in October for my birthday and the service my family and I received was exceptional and especially so from Edwin and Damaris. The way you guys went above and beyond to make my birthday special will forever melt my heart. I am very grateful to you both and I hope you know how deeply your kindness, attention to detail and overall exceptional service made such a great impact to us. Thank you to Jackson and the team for such a warm welcome. I highly recommend this camp because the service is beyond exceptional. Thank you guys.

Very friendly staff, beautiful grounds. The food was amazing! The tents far exceeded our expectations. Everyone was very accommodating and just happy to help. Highly recommend this property for your safari vacation. The Masai Mara people also put on a very nice cultural show.

Fantastic safari accommodation! We had a great stay for 3 days/2 nights here. The accomodation was much better than we'd anticipated with proper bathrooms and a roof/door structure, essentially only the walls are tented. The staff were all incredibly friendly and polite and couldn't do enough to help you. When leaving a maintenance man saw us carrying our cases, put down his tools and came running over to take our bags to reception and wouldn't take no for an answer. We did our game drives through the hotel and the jeep was one of the better ones. The guide was very knowledgeable about the animals and went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could be. We saw everything except a rhino. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

My fiancé and his father stayed here in September. This was an unforgettable experience for them. Amazing staff and very good service according to them. They really know how to take care of the travellers. I can’t wait to join them next time.

Amazing Indian food by chefs- Douglas and Kenedy. All our vegetarian food requirements were met, wonderful service. Overall, it was an incredible experience!

Had the most amazing time here. The most glorious view of wildlife right from my tent. The staff were amazing and attentive. I lost an item of luggage. Tom from security continued to look for it and kept me updated. He found it! And returned it to me. I am so thankful to him. The food was amazing. And whilst the power is off for a few hours a day, I found this to be a good thing, finding time to read my book, relax in the pool and find other activities to engage in. The only drawback I found was the long walk to our tent, but Nelson was always available with the golf cart to drive us back to our room when we needed it. Thank you to all the staff at Sarova Mara. You have given me a lifetime of wonderful memories, and I hope I have the good fortune to return here again one day. Asante.

A little piece of paradise. Staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Food was amazing, kitchen staff was always accomadating and even made things off the menu. Rooms are beautiful and the staff would clean and tend to us without us ever noticing their presence! From putting our mosquito nets on at night, to a hot water bottle tucked under the bed, these little gestures made this place so welcoming. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and bathrooms were large and had great showers. Highly recommend!

We planned for X-Mas and expecting the good arrangements but was disappointed & the reasons is below mentioned; 1. No Good arrangements for X-mas celebration. 2. Shortage of Sitting chair in Guest areas and even after they never arranged. 3. Evening Tea time is short from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm & if you need the Tea after 4:30 pm then you’ve wait for minimum 30 minutes, which is not genuine. 4. Standard rooms are so tiny where you can’t be comfortable. 5. There is no good arrangements for Children food. 6. The food taste is not satisfactory specially Vegetarian. 7. Full day Safari they will pack you lunch as per there standard chart but actually that’s the Breakfast meal not for lunch. 8. Staffs are so humble. 9. Overall it was not so bad but it was also not good according what you are paying. Pliz maintain the above for future, will appreciate otherwise it really hard to plan back. Thanks

Loved the place and service. Friendly staff . I would recommend if you come as a couple you ask for a tent away from kids as you will hear your neighbours easily . We booked the safari car from Big Foot Safari which also i highly recommend. Our driver Amos was amazing. We booked full board so the food we got in the restaurant was delicious and had a good variety of items. I enjoyed fishing in the evening. Dinner time was exceptionally fun as they have live music at that time.
